? Why time outdoors helps your mental state, whatever the weather
? How singing, smiling and stroking a cat all activate your 'bonding chemistry'
? Why fostering gratitude will make your teenager happier
This book will not tell you how to be a flawless parent, or how to raise perfect children, but it will give you proven and successful ways in which to make the days you spend with your kids more enjoyable, meaningful, and ultimately happier.

A guide to fostering healthy and happy children, right from newborns to teenagers. I borrowed this from my local library on a whim thinking it would offer some new guidance I hadn’t already read or heard about with regard to my toddler.

I found the book structure easy to digest and separated into chapters such as touch, smiling, play and the great outdoors. Each chapter helpfully offers how positive concepts can be adapted into both Home and school or nursery.

While there is little I found to be new here, I did appreciate the overall message of the book and how it reinforces my gentle parenting stance.

Our family is already focusing on being happy. We practice happiness every day. It's lovely to read a book that teaches us even more ideas of how to do this.
Practical, sweet, and realistic, this book is a gem.

I got a couple of ideas from this book but I knew most of it already from reading other books and magazines over the years. Glad I got out of the library rather than buying it.
