This is the first book I binge read. I found it in the attic of an old house in the countryside that my sister rented.
I was very surprised at how similar the vernacular of the characters in this book were to those of similarly aged people (of which I was one) when I found this book, in the early 2000s.
I must admit, although I'm not very fond of straightforward romance novels, this was an enjoyable read. It would have got a higher score had the author known how to end the novel: the ending was abrupt, with the two main characters really having done little to resolve their love toward one another except through the action of Cynthia, who was the female deuteragonist. Nevertheless, it was a smooth and easy read.
