The Complete Our Valued Customers

Our Valued Customers is a comic strip based on my experiences working in my local comic book store. It features the hilarious, off-putting, misinformed and sometimes insightful things said by real comic shop customers. This 400-page book contains all 1,566 OVC comic strips, the entire 6 year run of your favorite webcomic plus behind the scenes photos and the story of how the whole thing came to be.

The Complete Our Valued Customers is every single one panel Our Valued Customer comics in one convenient volume.

I don't remember how I discovered Our Valued Customers but I pissed away many an hour reading it before the Kickstarter to create this very volume was created. How could I not contribute to help yank it from the creative birth canal into the real world?

Anyway, Our Valued Customers is a hilarious and sometimes sad look into the world of comics fans. While I found it really funny, it also reminded me why I haven't spent a lot of time in comic shops since I was in college.

There's not a lot else I can say so here are some samples.

Love it. The sort of book you open at random and read a few pages at a time. Funny and sad and human in the most ridiculous ways.

embarrassing truths and complaints that all comic book fans can relate to.
MrTim's art style is really great to look at. chunky graffiti/chibi style little people are really fun. it's also cool to see the style get more dialed in as you go through the book

Consistently funny and filled with behavior that is immediately recognizable in this day and age.

Good, but the unrelenting parade of idiots, jerks, and creeps makes it hard to read more than a few pages at a time.
