It has been a little over a month since aliens began attacking humans on Earth, forever changing Chuck Holloway’s adolescent life. Now, the aliens are abducting more humans than ever. He and Farley regroup with the other humans to formulate a plan of retaliation against the aliens. Unfortunately, their plan is thwarted when they realize they have been tracked to Eris. When Chuck and Farley find themselves in unknown territory, they discover that Eris is not the safe haven they once believed. As an unexpected ally surfaces and presents Yu with what could be their only way of fighting the aliens, the humans prepare for the last stand against their enemy. Eris is a suspenseful, action-packed story about battles, courage, fear, love, and death, as aliens plot to kill two teenagers and everyone they love.

About the author

Penny L. Samms is also known as Auntie Penny. She was born in Newfoundland, Canada, and grew up in Toronto, where she still resides. Storytelling has always been one of her passions. Making up worlds and playing in them is still one of the ways she spends her time.

Her latest release is a thriller where young, single mom, Karen, is dying. In an attempt to ensure her little girl's future is stable, Karen agrees to kill for money. When her daughter, Darla, is kidnapped, the stakes grow even higher.

A rollicking good time... the books are aimed at kids, but come off something like watching Gremlins when I was 10. The right balance of funny, suspenseful and interesting, with fun characters and a great plotline. Can't wait for #3 to come out.
