Well after my disappointment in Book 2, I had really high hopes for this one. Luckily, it turned out to be pretty good.

Marcus was a great hero. He was so good to Roxy and was there for her even when she denied him. He saw Roxy and knew she was his mate. He waited years for her to be ready unlike a certain other brother *cough* Hunter*cough* who I'm still pissed at and just can't get past.

Roxy turned out to be a great heroine. I was a little afraid she'd be too timid and meek. It was nice to see her grow and become the woman she used to be before she met her abusive ex.

It was good to see other characters and I'm looking forward to whoever is next...not sure who'll that'll be.

Keeping my fingers crossed he wasn't fucking around like the last one knowing she was his mate. Blurb sounds like he wasn't...we'll see.

Marcus the wolf and Roxy the survivor.
This one was great! Marcus has loved Roxy since the moment his alpha brought her bruised and broken self to town. He knows her husband is scum, and wants to be there for her, but she keeps him at arms length until she is finally divorced. But he's a patient man when it comes to his little mate, and she needs time to heal and be strong on her own.
So there's that part of the story, and then there's also a group of shifters who want to join the pack... some good, some not so good, and some downright evil.
Loved the bits with Hunter being his 'stir the pot' self. Sadie is still a b*tch, amd so is Deb, but now she has a drinking problem too.
Even Slade and Jill show up again.
Lots going on and the story has a good pace with some action and some character development.
safety is all good imho.

Just didn't work for me. I've read this author before, and have enjoyed her books in the past, but this one didn't make the cut. The writing felt stilted, and I didn't feel the connection between the MCs.

I'll definitely read her again.. just unimpressed with this one.

FORBIDDEN DESIRE is the third book in the Lee County Wolves series, and while the last Foster brother has now been mated off, the series has been left open for more books. More wolves have been brought into the pack for protection, and their alpha—Garrett—has come to a decision that will greatly affect the pack. I am interested in seeing where the author will go from here.

I liked Marcus, but Roxy was definitely the stand-out character. Garrett rescued her from her abusive husband, and she’s been living in hiding with the pack ever since. She’s been using that time well; building up her confidence and breaking free from the conditioning her husband instilled in her.

We got to see the previous two couples, but more of Garrett and Janna because Janna’s pregnant and Garrett’s still being challenged for his alpha position. Hunter was his usual playful self and really brought in the humor.

“Why don’t you claim her, bro?”
“Because she’s still married.”
“Okay, well let’s kill the son of a bitch and then she won’t be married anymore. Easy fix.”

FORBIDDEN DESIRE is told in dual POVs and comes with a HEA for Marcus and Roxy.

I'm definitely loving this Lee County Wolves Series.

First off let me just say..... Eggs and Chocolate....YUK!!
Read the book and find out ha ha

Roxy stuck me as Meek and Mild, Nervous and Scared in the beginning I really felt for her and what she'd been through.

Marcus is definitely A Hot Alpha Male, with a sweet Sensitive side and a Body to Drool over.

Really loved their story, their connection and how it enveloped, Roxy eventually sure did get her mojo back and BAM!!! That woman went from Meek and Mild to one Damn strong female with a purpose, loved the transition and her interaction with Marcus was so friggin HOT....off the scale damn!

There's also much humour in the book, one of the other shifters Hunter was too bloody funny, had me laughing my head off, some of the things he came out with was hilarious

All in all a Fabulous read, Hot Sexy, Funny, Sweet, awesome characters
A great read, looking forward to the next book in this Amazing series.

Wow. Teresa you have done it again. Marcus's story just blew me away.
Marcus finally decides to go get his girl.
Roxy has a past. A married past. Saved by Garret Roxy has made a life for herself in town.
Marcus has been waiting for the right time to claim her. That time has come.
Will it be smooth sailing? Hell no.
We meet some new pack members which of course brings a new threat to town.
This book has it all. Action, LOL moments, edge of your seat shouting at a page moments and of course pure raw passion the panties wetting style.
I recommend this book to all PNR fans.
I can't wait for more from The Lee County Wolves.

Excellent addition to the Lee County Wolves!

I couldnt put this book down until I had finished it. I dont like to give spoilers, but I will say that Teresa Gabelman reels you in every time with lovable characters, believable emotion, great plot twists, and loads of energy! I seriously enjoyed getting to read Marcus and Roxy's story; they deserved one. I definitely suggest reading this book ASAP.

What a wonderful story! Teresa Gableman has scored another hit with Forbidden Desire. The Lee County Wolves Series is a great addition to Teresa's formidable body of work. It tells of love, empowerment and family bonds in a witty, exciting and meaningful way. If you're a fan of Ms. Gableman's, you won't need convincing, and if you're not on that bandwagon yet, read this and her other extraordinary series and hop on.

Best book

A great read

I loved this book from start to finish, it has a bit of everything from love, passion, regret, hardships to overcome, action, heartbreak, girl fights, jealous and much more. A truly great book.

Marcus is a head enforcer of the Lee County Wolves and Roxy a shy redhead who has suffered tremendous physical and emotional abuse at the hands of her husband (soon to be EX).
But Marcus doesn't have that for long and tries to bring out the fiery redhead so as to claim her as his Mate as he knew this from the first moment he saw her. (Even threatened to kill his brothers over her).
Their relationship is Rocky and fragile during the beginning but with Roxy's attitude to close herself off but to break free from the bonds that tie her and Marcus's protectiveness and easy manner they learn to grow together and find happiness. No matter the hardships they pull through and show that love can find you no matter your past and even when horrible situations arise that threaten all that you live. A great booking and can't wait to read the next

So good

This is the third book in the Lee County wolves series by Teresa Gableman. And like the other books I really enjoyed this story and I could related to it on a deeper level. This story was about Marcus and Roxy . While Roxy being human Marcus knew as soon as he laid eyes on her that she was his mate. But had to control his urge to take her because she had a few issues and he didn't want to scare her off. Roxy was saved by Garrett the Alpha wolf leader bringing her back to his county to help her reajust and start a new life. She was a victim of domestic violence and was slowly getting better . Not knowing the full extent of Roxy's past Marcus patiently waited for the right time to claim her as his own. However in the mean time there was drama happening all around them and just when Roxy least expected it she was once again faced with her past . Only this time she wasn't a victim she was loved she was stronger she took back her control never to be mistreated by anyone ever again. I'm loving this series and I hope there will more to come in the future.

It’s time for middle brother Marcus Foster to claim town human, Roxy Patel as his mate, but she’s got baggage and plenty of it. Meanwhile, though their pack is strong, it’s small, to that end, the Foster brothers are interviewing wolves to join their pack while making alliances with other packs.

The first wolves trying to join arrive with Carl, their own sadistic alpha, with a secret and every intention to terrorize the pack. Carl’s unceremoniously rejected and banished. Unable to accept rejection, Carl tweaks the Foster brother’s noses with malicious stunts causing harm to the pack.

Roxy’s grateful Garrett was able to save her from a bad situation and has no intention of ever leaving, though being human in a wolf town sometimes makes her feel as if she’s an outsider. Meanwhile, the mean girls, angry they won’t get a Foster brother, unpack Roxy’s baggage leading enemies to the pack lands, the town and directly to Roxy.

An Adrenaline Pumping Addition To This Addictive Series

As I've said many times before, I am already a BIG fan of Ms Gabelman's writing style and love The Protectors series; Lee County Wolves series has quickly cemented a place in my heart too. This series has everything that I crave in a great paranormal romance.

There are some seriously strong alpha types in this series but the good guys are my type of alphas; their mates come first. The women's personalities are exactly what need in female leads; intelligent, resilient, self-sufficient and plenty of gumption! Both Marcus and Roxy captured my heart and I loved learning more about them and seeing them get their HEA ending.

I love the banter and the balance that the humour plays to the more brutal, horrific, tense and emotional scenes. I can't wait to read book 4!

Another great read. Can't wait for the next one

Marcus and a Roxy's story was as adventurous as I thought it would be. Marcus and Roxy were so great together. Love faith and trust were always there. Roxy was hiding from an abusive ex Bruce who was a totally l piece of you know what. Anyway Marcus showed her he would always be there for her no matter what happened. Roxy wanted to stay hidden because of the years of abuse from Bruce who was refusing to sign the divorce papers. I loved that there were no secrets between them so therefore we were able to get the a honest story. No secrets to hide behind later for a totally honest up front romance.

Forbidden Desire:

Like Viktor’s book from VC Warriors series, Marcus also has that little extra something about him that really speaks to me. Him and Roxy are adorable together. Enjoyed the twists and turns and the danger that was in this story. Glad that Garrett and Janna are ok. Love that they named the twins after the brothers. Really like Taz a new pack member. We got a glimpse of him from the Warriors series in Steve’s book. Can’t wait to read him and Leda’s book. Hopefully there will be one.

Good series

I really liked this series and all the characters. They definitely need to be read in order, otherwise you miss important pieces to the puzzle. It says this is a 3 book series so that's why I only gave this one 3 stars because it left so many threads dangling it's almost a cliffhanger. I have to think she left all those holes open because there will be at least 2 more stories.

Book 3 of the Lee County Wolves series, preceded by Forbidden Seduction and hopefully followed by #4? The story is about the last Foster brother - Marcus and Roxy Patel, a human woman, who has been rescued by Garret from an abusive husband. It's a fast read, and again there is some excitement dealing with attacks on the community; but the romance is a bit bland. Marcus simply tells Roxy that she is his mate and magic... she is his - The end.

Oh my gosh!!!

So much happens in this one. Marcus and Roxy finally admit their feelings. Janna is close to delivery. New wolves join the pack. Sadie is a horrible person. There are several very tense moments. We learn about Roxy's past. Marcus is so funny and sweet. Hunter is hilarious about Janna's cravings and it does sound bad. A tough decision in the end. Dell need a mate!!

Pretty good

I liked this book. The characters were likable and the story easy to read. It didn't really have enough depth for me to give it more stars. Don't get me wrong - it was a perfectly good book and a nice easy read, it just wasn't earth shattering or deep in a way that some other books I've read have been. Still worth a read if you've read the others in the series.

I don't no why I haven't read this before now, I love Teresa's style of writing so im surprised this one slipped through the cracks for me. Her solid plots and crazy characters make for an interesting story that's for sure. I love the crazy humour she manages to slot in here.

You know when I first started reading this I wasn't sure what to take of it just because I loved the VC Warrior books and how Hunter played a part in Saving Jill but now I absolutely love the Lee County Wolf series and I hope you all will to thank you Mrs. Gablemen for making such a wonderful series well another wonderful series XOXO

Not enchanted

Marcus was enchanting but domestic abuse is never something to be touted as a theme in a book. Physical violence is abhorrent and should be reviled not given any glorification. He man should at least been arrested and beaten to death prison. Letting him go was not justice. Ruined the book.

Happy with a touch of sad

Marcus finally gets his mate , his mate gets her hearts desire. The Past and the present meet in a huge confrontation. Finally happy endings, or are they? It's a roller coaster ride full of thrills and spills and I loved every minute of it.

I think anyone else becomes alpha will have to worry about the lack and their family as well. Garret wasn't trying to keep fighting all those men and I think Marcus and Hunter loved the fighting more than he did.
