A fresh, fantastic take on the bloodiest of classic fairy tales. When Blue's ex-boyfriend appears on her doorstep, he says he wants to make things right. His true intentions are far more sinister. Blue's shape-shifting powers can help her outrun him, but to survive, she must face him as herself!
Blue is an interesting little graphic novella. The basic plot has been told hundreds of times, but the aesthetics this time around are different. It's a little darker, one of those stories where a little bit of hope starts to creep around the corners towards you and then it is swept away. It's not going to change your world, but it's a nice little escape into an urban fairy tale.
Love the illustration style. Love how the author uses a fairy tale as the base of her modern story. Love the shape-shifting element. Love the use of color for the character. Not in love with the plastination element, but whatever.
