About 3.7; a year-seven AU that's original, interesting, touching, thoughtful, and not without exciting parts.

Here's what I wrote when bookmarking this on AO3:
LONG, but very good. Map!Sirius is a bit *younger* than Harry — it's not icky. Slow-burn and as much about plot (the sequence of events re. Voldie is quite different) and issues (such as unfair treatment of werewolves) as the relationships (Remus/Tonks is secondary).

... and the comment I posted on the story after finishing all 44 chapters:
This has been an excellent story, well worth the investment of time. I'm so glad I didn't only read the tags — "Harry/Sirius" made me go "Ew, no!" but I read the summary anyway, and was immediately intrigued.
Slow-burn is my favorite sort of romance, and you've got so many great *issues* about bigotry, self-doubt, etc., too, w/o getting excessively preachy. I like the way it gets a bit gray, without entering antihero territory.
I'm much fonder of map!Sirius (even with his occasional ill judgements, not out of place at 16-17) than I was/am of canon!Sirius, despite my sympathy for what the older version went through.
