Bad Grammar

This book has horrible grammatical errors, that will make you scratch your head while you're reading. The author should be embarrassed. If there was an editor, they really let the author down. The content was very generic and very repetitive.

Did Not Finish
January 21, 2017
Gosh, I have got to stop downloading Kindle books just because they're free. Super short - could have finished it in one sitting, but it was just... badly in need of an editor, and not original or helpful.

Get back on track!

Great ideas to help get you focused and back on track! "People do not decide their futures, they decide their habits and their habits decide their futures."

Good quick book!

Good quick book! Using my kindle I highlighted the things I thought were helpful and often review them when I slack off from my goals.

I don't really remember how I got this book. I think it was a free download on Amazon? Anyways. The first chapter started out okay. Sullivan writes in an optimistic tone, which is fine for a self-help book. I read through and realized I didn't really learn anything new and exciting. "Be productive, balance your life, dream big, blah blah blah." I've seen these themes in movies, tv shows, other books. Okay. Then I started to notice the spelling and grammatical errors.

"You should know that all individual are born differently..."

I blinked and reread the sentence and thought, "so she forgot an 's' on the word 'individual'... meh, not too big of a deal, I guess."

"Changing up the way and habits in which you get new information at the same time applying it to an instant improved version of you is the best way for you to get exposed to the new sorts of information."

"You will never achieve success in everything you do not unless you set up your goals or there is something that you really wanted to attain."

Like, what? This woman is writing in the past, present, AND future tense... all in 1 sentence. Did someone actually publish this?? Has anyone actually bought this book? Now I understand why it was free. Maybe I'm just crazy, but reading a book LITTERED with grammatical biz is so off-putting to me. Then I went to her website to see if she has any legit credentials or experience to be writing books like this in the first place. Nope. The only thing close to any sort of credential is that she's a mom.

If you really want to read about how to improve yourself and be a better person, go read Stephen Covey.
