His voice is hypnotising,
His body mesmerising,
Shame about his attitude.

Cole thought going on tour with the UK’s most up and coming singer songwriter was going to be wild. Little did he know that the gossip about Chase’s lifestyle of partying and girls was far from the truth. He’s a moody musician with one hell of a sexy body but his personality and attitude leaves a lot to be desired.
Cole can’t understand why despite not really liking Chase he feels so drawn to him from the second their eyes connect.
Everyone thinks they know Chase, his face is plastered all over the internet and magazines but he’s hiding something, keeping secrets to protect himself as well as the ones he loves but by doing that he’s making himself miserable.
To the outside world it seems that Chase has everything he could ever dream of but what he really wants is right in front of him. Will he be strong enough to allow himself to have it and let the world know who he really is?

DNF at 10%, i found myself rolling my eyes, if i continue they might pop out.

Tried to sample the audio book, and let's just say, the narrator sounded like he was being chocked, while trying hard to swallow water.

OK, I will admit from the beginning that I fell for the cover. And I am a sucker for famous musicians. Closeted or out and proud, I just love them. Now that I got this off my chest, I will also admit this was a good story, but I kind of wanted more. Much more. I don't know if it's me again, or this one wasn't as amazing as I expected.

Many things didn't work for me here. Many details came too late, like Cole's real name and his back story. So much unnecessary drama.

I was really unhappy with the second part of the book. I liked the writing enough. I even liked all that hot and cold but to a point. I think Cole should have been aware Chase/Logan was closeted and that he will want to keep it that way, at least at first. They weren't even a couple, so his expectations were too high. And well, I didn't like him chasing Logan the way he did. Like all the time! I don't know, I kind of wanted them to be a little more mature and own their actions. Admit when they were wrong. Be true to themselves.

There were some scenes I really fell for, like the punching lesson and the ending scene. But my biggest problem would be that this story was a little too predictable.

Overall I liked it. I also liked the secondary characters, BUT not enough to read their stories. The second book is Bella's story. It might be great, but I'm not sure it's for me.

Chasing Logan is an M/M novel by Tracy Lorraine. I have read all of this author's work and Chasing Logan is my favourite by miles. I love this genre and this story was so beautifully written, that I was heartbroken that it ended. But it has a happy ending, so that made it more bearable.

Cole and Logan’s love story was an extremely emotional one. Sometimes really painful to read. My heart smashed for Logan. So much he was suffering through, i felt it on every page. His pain was there for everyone to see. But only Cole saw through that to the frightened and hurting soul beneath the angry facade. So many battles were faced between Logan and Cole, sometimez I was unsure if they would make it. The odds were against them. The author had me on the edge constantly and in a highly emotional state, never quite knowing what drama was yet to unfold.

Cole wore his heart on his sleeve and had the scars of unacceptance and ridicule. The cruelty of people never ceases to shock me, and I just adore Cole for rising above all that he endured, still with a love for life. His strength was admirable, which made him perfect for Logan. He was always there for Logan, even when he kept pushing him away. He had enough courage for the both of them and refused to abandon Logan when he needed him the most. They would just clear one hurdle, only to come across several more. Cole got tired of hiding, and had to really think about what he could settle for and what he deserved. Everything worked against them, with the uphill battle exhausting them both.

I was astounded with the brilliance that was Chasing Logan. Not because I don't think the author is capable of such work, but because she took something devastated, wounded and disillusioned, and turned it into something magical, something whole, something lasting, and something beautiful.

Tracy Lorraine always provides readers with a sensational story. She has gone way beyond sensational with Chasing Logan. I cannot wait for Claiming Bella.

5 stars for Logan. 5 stars for Cole. 5 stars for Tracy Lorraine. I thank you.

Chasing Logan by Tracy Lorraine a sublime five-star read that is well worth the chase. This is the first book in the chasing series, and I can’t wait for the next book if its only half as good as this one it will be amazing, but I am sure it will be sublime also as Tracy Lorraine is an amazing author, who fast became a must-read author for me. This is a M/M romance so won’t be to everyone’s taste, but it’s done in a great manner, we watch as two young men fall into friendship and possible new love, and how they struggle with the dilemmas life will throw at them, for both boys have different demons they must face and deal with to gain true happiness, and although they seem like different problems on the outside, maybe their problems are more alike than they realise and by helping each other overcome their problems they may actually help themselves in the long run.
Logan Chase seems to have it all on the outside, famous singer/songwriter who is about to embark on a major tour, is papped each time he goes out, with a different woman on one arm and a drink in the other. But what people don’t realise is that he is covering for a lot of secrets, things he doesn’t want anyone to know, definitely not his adoring public else they will look at him differently. His world could come crashing down around him when his eye meet that of one of the dancers his manager has insisted he has on stage with him.
Cole and Bella have been friends since they met on a bench outside a dance class. One event that would change their lives forever. Much like when one of them has a moment on stage with a guy they are dancing for, it will lead to lives being changed, but will it be for the better?
This was such a great book, I loved every minute. I read it from start to finish without stopping for anything other than breathe, much like all of the other amazing reads Tracy Lorraine has given us. This woman deserves a medal for writing passion that leaps of the page.

This author is new to me so I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. What I got blew me away.

This story is not a love at first sight but a "I noticed and wanted you" at first sight. Cole and Chase don't have the typical love story. Chase is in the closet and suffering from a family tragedy. Cole steps up and is there for him when he needs it most. There are misunderstandings and walking away from each other. In the end they come together for their happy ever after.
The writing style it self was amazing, keeping my attention from beginning to end. I couldn't put the book down once I picked it up.
I will read this author again.

First story from this author and I got it on KU. Honestly it was pretty predictable but I liked the characters of Chase and Cole - even though I wanted to smack them upside the head fairly frequently. I do want to read the next book because I really liked Bella, Cole's BFF. Mia is a super character and even though she's a kid, she reminded me of myself when I was that age. My dad had already had cancer, my mother was chronically ill - these are things that make you old before your time - although I was already old when I was 8 :-P

Nothing really new here, but it was an enjoyable read.

Lorraine joins the ranks of a growing number of illiterate authors who don't understand the definition of literally, the real definition, not the American heritage dictionary definition which embodies a very American outlook of changing to accommodate error instead of telling fragile Americans they're wrong (which reminds me of 30 Rock where Tracey tells Kenneth Americans don't admit they're wrong. Columbus was looking for India, did he admit he was wrong? No, he just started calling everyone Indians). Our book ends with Cole's heart literally melting so, fair warning, this isn't a HEA, the book ends with one of the main characters dying.

Lorraine spends much of the book slut shaming every woman in existence except for Chase's manager, who embodies the other offensive female stereotype and is a bitch. Amongst this we have Mary Sue, Bella who's the ubiquitous MM straight best friend, showing everyone that women are only really deserving of respect if you prefer to hide under baggy clothes (even though you've got a "banging bod") and spend all your time being agreeable and talking softly.

When Lorraine isn't aggressively slut shaming women she's using offensive het insults to describe gay men. Bella reassures someone that Cole is a marmite muncher. Quite how Bella knows Cole's bedroom antics isn't explained. I imagine in a late night chat Cole confided he likes to rim his partner after anal sex and Bella thought fit to announce that in mixed company, nice friend!

But, if you can get past every instance of "literally" being used incorrectly, incessant slut shaming and offensive language then you're left with yet another book where one character prostrated himself endlessly, endures abuse and mistreatment to get his man. Is this romance? So many books feature this I feel like I'm being gaslighted. It used to be when someone treated you poorly you told them you thought far too much of yourself to be someone's endless emotional punch bag, but nowadays being the punching bag, without complaint, is the basis for a great romance?!

Chasing Logan is Tracy Lorraine's latest book and part one in the Chasing Series and all i can say is wow.

This book had me staying up to the early hours so i could finish it as i was glued i am so excited to see what this author has in store for the rest of this series and this first book was brilliant. I will say if your not into M/M genre then this book isn't for you but if your like me and enjoy M/M books this book will keep you reading.

We meet Logan Chase who to the outside world has it all. He has a number one hit, men want to be him and women want to bed him, his tour has sold out. But as soon as he is away from the public eye and flashes of cameras going off is a very angry man even if he has a body to die for.

We meet Cole who has just landed a job as a backing dancer for Chase for some unknown reason he is attracted to Chase he doesn't know why though. Cole would love the chance to get to Chase into his bed but everybody knows that Chase is 100% straight and would never go with a man. Chase has been photographed with a string of beautiful women and can have his pick of any girl that tickles his fancy. Because of this Cole just stands back and admires the sex God that is Logan Chase.

There is so much chemistry between Cole and Chase though that it is almost off the charts but very little people know the real Logan Chase and the fact that Chase is hiding a big secret that he is in fact gay and he too has developed feelings for Cole. Their relationship is so beautiful and raw but what would happen if it was ever to come out that Logan Chase was gay? Will Cole just have to remain a secret to keep his man? Or will Chase find the courage to admit to the world that he is gay?

I’m familiar with this author’s MF romances so I decided to give one of her MM ones a try. Ugh 😩 This was almost a DNF multiple times after the first 40% and I have no idea how I managed to finish.

The first 30% of this book was good but from there it went to shit. This author should stick to her MF romances because this was abysmal the longer I read it. The sex scenes were not accurate or sexy. No one just puts it in without prep. Ouch. One of my almost DNFs was during a sex scene because it was just so boring. I could never feel much chemistry between them even though Cole was constantly “tingling” when looking at Chase. There was so much drama I felt like I was reading about high schoolers especially with the miscommunication and the rapid mood changes. The last 20% of this book had like every issue imaginable for no apparent reason. I had no connection to any of the secondary characters nor did I even really like the main ones. The whole book is in Cole’s POV yet Chase is going through awful things and knowing how he felt would have really helped make this book feel less superficial.

My biggest issue though was the grammar. I read lots of authors from all over the world so her being from the UK wasn’t the issue. The present/past tense of words was all fucked up and it was hard to follow.

An example: “I must blink, because the next thing I know, I’m stood there alone and Logan is walking down the corridor back towards our table.”

I’m stood there alone??? WTF There are so many other sentences like that and tons of other errors like commas in the wrong place, exclamation points at the end of sentences that make no sense and misspelling of characters names.

An addicted writing! Tracy Lorraine describe this romance in a simply way, so pure, so beautiful, and shows how a super star could suffer in your fame, hidden who he really is.

The story hinges on Chase or Logan, or Logan Chase. He’s a famous singer that never told to someone that he’s gay. He feels something really strong by his friend on his band, the dancer Cole.

They suffer for not being together as couple in front of cameras or the people with afraid of what they might be thinking. Unfortunately we still live in a society that is really prejudiced with this kind of relationship. But it felt so real in this book to me, that I felt so well on my reading. Some people won’t feel this, for not accept at all. But please, where are in the 21st century, buddies!

This book was my first contact with Tracy writing and I felt like I said, natural and for the hot parts, they’re described in an easy way to understand. In one or two pages the author finishes her thought. She doesn’t roll the entire situation in a chapter or something, but shows all the obstacles in this love.

Tracy is good. A sweet, deep and real contemporary romance. You can feel the emotion that the author would like to share on her writing, this is really important. Your mission is definitely completed!

Excited for her next release!

Chase seems to have everything a rockstar could want, beautiful women on his arm, the #1 song on the charts and his sold out tour. Why then, does he seem so angry and distracted behind the scences?? Cole, one of the backup dancers, can't figure out why, but finds himself attracted to him. Cole knows nothing can come of his attraction because everyone knows Chase is straight. But as the tour continues, Cole finds more and more that he wants to make Chase smile and chase away any demons that are haunting him. Chase doesn't let many people get close to him, so no one knows the real man behind the famous face. Can Chase face his demons and find true happiness in his life? Will he learn to let others in, and maybe find love??? I liked the characters in this book and their backstories. Hoping there will be another book soon in this series about Cole's best friend and fellow dancer Bella.

Really enjoyable read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book it has a great story with good characters and hot bedroom scenes.

The story is about Chase a famous musician who is hiding a big secret from the world and it's not until he meets Cole the dancer that the secret threatens to come out.

Cole is so excited to be dancing on stage with Chase and though Cole has a secret crush on him he knows Chase is straight, but what he doesn't know is that it's all an act and it's not until Chase kisses him that Cole realises Chase is in fact gay but too afraid to come out of the closet.

Their friendship starts to turn into something more but Cole won't be Chase's dirty little secret. Will Chase be brave enough to come out to the world to keep Cole. You'll have to read the book to find out.

Recommended.

Tracy Lorraine has popped my M/M cherry. Wasn't sure what to expect with this book but i LOVED it, what else can i say except LETS HEAR IT FOR THE BOYS!

I'm a huge fan of Tracy's style of writing and this book certainly did not disappoint me. She had me captivated from beginning to end.

Not sure if this was love at first sight but it was certainly lust at first sight. My heart strings were definitely pulled during this book, it was the perfect blend of angst, drama, and passion. The chemistry was sizzling off the charts between Logan and Cole.

All the characters in this book were great and I'm hopeful to read more of them, especially excited for Bella and Drew's story, I think that will be one hell of an emotional ride. The banter, chemistry and dynamics of all the characters worked so well and made the story flow brilliantly.

Cole is a dancer going on tour with the latest Hot pop star and sparks are flying with a few looks. Chase is leading a hidden life in the spot light as there are not many people that know the real him, especially that he is gay. The way their relationship grows and develops is so beautiful and raw. Circumstances really put them through the ringer but their feelings are too strong to deny in the end.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review from the author

I loved this book so much. Tracy's books just get better and better, she pulls you in with her work and doesn't let you go. I wish I could give more then 5 stars. This book will pull on your heart strings. I had tears in my eyes more then once. Be prepared when you start this book you won't be able to out it down.
The attraction between Cole and Logan is instant, guess you could say love at first sight. I could set and say so much about this book, but I won't. Go and preorder and find out for your self. This is a must read I will say that.

I received and voluntary reviewed an ARC of this book.

I have read everything that's been written by this author and can honestly say this is my favorite to date. I have a special place in my heart for these two.
Hiding oneself is not living be open to what truly makes you happy.

For this being a first for Tracy in this subject matter I feel it was done both tastefully and very well written.
I will be waiting for what is yet to come.

After listening to the prequel, I turned off the audiobook. After hearing him speak first just a few minutes, Guy Veryzer proved to be the worst male narrator I’ve ever heard! I thought there’d be no way I could listen to an entire audiobook narrated by this guy!!! However, after a few days, I did come back, and I made it through! This guy definitely us the worst male narrator I’ve ever heard, but I liked the other book I read by Tracy Lorraine and wanted to give her another chance. I am still not sure if I wasted time or not, it’s hard to separate the awful performance from the story.... Full review, coming

Drama done well and in the right amount adds another level to a book and plot. But when most of the book is built upon unnecessary drama (read miss-or non-communication), I tend to want to throw the book out the window. Why this one survived I can’t say, blame it on my stubborn streak…

Another thing that I didn’t like was Cole and Logan. I never liked either of them. Logan was too selfish and self-centered. It’s one thing to be in the closet, quite another to actively hurt people because you’re afraid to come out. And Cole – he needed to stand up for himself, just a little bit. A spine is not a bad thing to have.

And the editing of the book was truly horrible. I mean there is such a thing as grammar people – please learn how to use it!

To sum it up, this was not a book I particularly enjoyed, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

Chasing Logan by Tracy Lorriane is a M/M romance which may not be your cup of tea but I would recommend reading it as you will find yourself being able to relate to the characters in different ways. This story is one of the first M/M romances that I have read and I know that I will be back for more. One of the things I most love about this author that no matter what type of book she has created I know what I will get when I open up to the first page. This one will not be a disappointment. You will love how this author was able to create characters that you will fall in love with. These characters will take you on a journey of life struggles while trying to face their demons. Find out if these two characters are meant to be together or if fate will have other ideas for them.

Cole is a dancer that has decided to take a job that he will go on tour with the UK's most up and coming singer songwriter. What he learned that the gossip you hear about this singer's life style was far from the truth. He doesn't really seem to like him but there is just something that keeps drawing him back to him. What is it about him?

Chase is a moody musician with a hot body but his attitude and personality needs lots of work. Everyone thinks they know him but do they really? He is hiding a secret, one that he needs to keep to protect the ones that he loves. But the problem he has is that hiding his secret is making miserable. To the outside world, he seems to have everything but does he really? Is what he really wants right in front of him? Is he willing to take a chance by letting the world know his secret?

Cole and Chase's relationship is one that starts out a little rocky. Both seem to deny what is right in front of them. There is an attraction between the two but are they willing to admit it? Will Chase give Cole the chance that he deserves? Will Chase reveal his secret and take the chance on happiness? These two are strong characters in this story. I give Chase a lot of credit, I can't imagine it was all that easy for him to hide his secret. To reveal it could mean that he may lose everything but revealing it could give him the most joy in ever. Cole goes through some changes that could be good or bad for him but it seems like he is willing to try. I think these characters really grow throughout the story and become stronger at the end. Will there be a happy ending in this story?

I have read all of Tracy Lorriane's books but I think that this is my favorite so far. I can't wait to see what she has coming next for us. racy lives in Cotswold village in England with her husband and her dog. They are currently awaiting their first child. This story will pull you in from the first word and keep you engaged until the end. I read this story in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. It is a fast paced story that will keep you wanting more. I highly recommend this story as I know you will love to see what this author has done with these characters!

Chasing Logan by Tracy Lorraine is an M/M romance telling the story of Chase, a hot as hell singer/songwriter with a huge following of female fans and Cole, a dancer on Chase’s latest tour of the UK.
Chase seems to have it all; a successful career, talent in abundance, film star looks and a hot body that women swoon over and yet, he never seems truly happy. Away from the stage he keeps himself to himself, often appearing to be abrupt, morose and miserable; quite unlike his public image. He adores his family; parents, sister, niece but unknown to the public there is tragedy and personal conflict in his life.
Cole is a dancer, a very good dancer, and is delighted when, with his best friend Bella (also a dancer) they get the chance to perform on stage with Chase on his latest tour of the UK. Cole is comfortable with his sexuality now although his childhood was not an easy one.
Cole finds himself drawn to Chase but Chase is seen with a different female on his arm nearly every night. Until one night, Cole and Chase catch each other’s eye and they find themselves drawn to one another. As their friendship grows this causes conflicts in both of them due to their different natures and outlooks. Can Chase and Cole overcome the obstacles in their way or will their friendship and feelings for one another succumb to ‘public image’?
This is a very well written book with a lot of empathy for the main characters. Cole and Chase are two very different men with very different attitudes towards their sexuality. Bella, Mia (Chase’s niece), Pip (another dancer on the tour) and other secondary characters all play their part in bringing this story to life and I would love to know and read more about them. Bella especially has all the makings of a Main Character in her as you find yourself wanting to know more about her life, her hopes and dreams for her future. The book is written from Cole’s perspective and I would, at times, have liked to have read it from Chase’s perspective but this in no way detracted from the story.
This is the first M/M romance novel I have read and I must say that I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. The language is Adult and Very sexually explicit and should not be read by anyone under the age of 18 but if you have never read an M/M romance novel before and have always wondered what one would be like then I thoroughly recommend that you read this one.
I rate this book 5 star

Chasing Logan
By: Tracy Lorraine
5 out of 5 stars

The story Chasing Logan by Tracy Lorraine is an m/m romance book. This is the story of Cole and Chase. Cole is going on tour as a dancer with one of the hottest singer/songwriters in the UK. He knows all about Chase from information on the internet and believes that he knows Chase all too well. Then a single moment, a single glance, changes Cole’s world. Now he is not able to think of anything else but Chase. Does Chase feel the same? Will Cole take a chance and find out?

This is an amazing story of two souls who find each other and then struggle to hold on to each other. Their situations may be different however they both know that their attraction for each other is overwhelming. I really liked the character of Cole. He is comfortable with himself and his lifestyle. He has a code he lives his life by and sticks to it. When he first feels the pull towards Chase he decides that he wants to know if Chase feels the same. This leads to some awkward meetings and other times they miss each other altogether. Will these two finally get together and find a love that they both have been searching for? Cole’s best friend is also a dancer on the tour and gives Cole her support. Whenever he needs someone to talk to he knows that she is always there for him. Their friendship goes back a long time and there are hints to her past.

Chase is a man that is an amazing singer/songwriter, however, is very moody. He is close with his family, especially his sister and his niece. Chase does seem to have an easier time opening up to Cole when they begin talking and spending time together. Things are changing in Chase’s world, some are for the better and some are for the worse. Through all of this, his feelings begin to grow for Cole. Will Chase take a chance and fall in love with Cole or will the need to keep this part of his life secret tear any hope for them apart?

I have read many books by the author and love her writing style and character development. This is the first m/m book I have read by her. I truly enjoyed the book and found myself rooting for Cole and Chase. The story is beautiful and shows how strong love can be. I can’t wait to read her next book. This story does include adult language and explicit sexual situations. It would be for those 18 years of age or older.

Chasing Logan
By Tracy Lorraine
5/5 Stars

Ok, let me just say… I have read ALL of Tracy's book. In every. Single. One…. I cry. I'm not talking about a few tears. I'm talking about the ugly cry. Yeah, you know what I mean, ladies!! C ‘mon we all have done it. You know, the blubbering , snot running, cry. It's such a beautiful sight!! Haha I can't help it, I feel soo much when I connect to a character. I guess I'm an emotional reader.
This her first m/m story. And let me tell ya, it doesn't disappoint in any way!! At first, Chasing Logan was meant to be a standalone. But now, well it's the first novel in The Chasing Series.
One of the things I love about Tracy’s books.. is how she makes you feel. She makes you feel so many different emotions! You feel such an emotional and deep profound connection to the characters. You can connect with them. Feel every ounce of anguish, heartache, sorrow…. or whatever emotion they're going through. You truly feel it, with every ounce of your being ! It's such a beautiful thing, being touched by words, by fictional characters alone, it says a lot!!
Like I said before, this is Tracy's first m/m romance novel. It is NOT recommended for anyone under eighteen, due to adult language and explicit sexual situations.
Cole thought being a backup dancer for U.K’s most up and coming singer songwriter was going to be a crazy ride. Dancing, drinking, partying and repeat. Cole keeps hearing gossip about Chase’s lifestyle. He starting to wonder what's true and what's not.
Chase is getting increasingly popular as time goes on. Everyone thinks they know Chase. But he's keeping a deep and dark secret. Not just to protect himself, but to protect the ones close to him , the ones near and dear to his heart… his family, whom he loves more than anything!!
But when Cole and Chase make eye contact for the first time. They are instantly drawn together. Can Chase allow himself to be truly happy, once and for all ? Or will the secret tear the two apart ?
Ok, Tracy… you did it again!! I can't seem to say enough wonderful things about your books. I feel like I'm rambling! But in all honesty,I just want the world to know about your amazing books!!! I can't get enough!! I can't wait to hear about Bella’s story!! Keep up the amazing job!! xxxx

A Moving and Emotional Story Of Love, Loss & Being True To Yourself!

Chasing Logan is an exceptional story that will move you. This is a story about love, loss, and friendship. The reader will be drawn into the book and the lives of the characters. The reader will feel the each characters' pain & joy, laughter & tears with them. To me if you can see yourself as the character or as the character's friend, then the author has done an incredible job of storytelling. You have to believe in the characters, storyline, and want them to succeed & find love / happily ever after. There were moments in Chasing Logan that broke my heart, made me cry and made me just want to comfort both Chase and Cole. At other times, I laughed, had to fan myself, smile, and falling in love with this couple. Chasing Logan has important elements about love (in all forms), happiness, loss, pain, trust issues, finding yourself and being true to yourself.

Cole is sweet and kind. He is not afraid to be himself. He worked hard for it. He is Chase's backup dancer. Cole is on the tour with his best friend Bella. Chase is a singer and in going on tour. Chase doesn't think that he can show people his true self. He has left behind his dying sister and family. Cole and Chase don't start off on the right foot, but once they do watch the sparks fly. The chemistry is out of this world. When Cole and Chase are alone, they are very very hot and scrumptious together. Cole doesn't like feeling like a dirty little secret. Can Cole and Chase find a happily ever after? Chase / Logan allow himself to be who he really is (inside) in public / in the spotlight?

Chasing Logan has many interesting secondary characters that I hope get their own story soon. I loved the unique storyline, in my opinion. This is my first book by this author, but I am hooked. I can't say enough about this book. I highly recommend this book to everyone!! Tracy Lorraine, you moved me with this book. I volunteered for this arc book, but I purchased the book.

Yet another beautiful story from Lorraine, I really enjoyed this book.
This is a love story that is filled with complications at the start, it’s a love story of a famous singer and one of his backup dancers.
Chase:
Now a famous singer is embarking on his tour and although he should be happy he is in fact quite miserable. He should be happy now that his lifelong dream has come true but with family issues he is unable to achieve the happiness he deserves. He also has the complication of dealing with his sexuality and doesn’t want family, friends or fans to know in case he is not accepted. Another thing annoying Chase is that he has back up dancers and has complained about having them but is told for now he has no choice.
Little does Chase know one of these dancers is about to change his life forever.
But will the change be for the better for Chase?

Bella and Cole:
Bella and Cole have been friends since Bella found him sitting outside her dance class. They quickly became best friends and eventually Bella moved him into her house after he had been hit by his father after finding out that he had joined dance classes and Cole admitted that he was gay. Bella has been bringing up her younger sister Darcy since their mother died when she was eighteen and now Cole was there to help. The day Bella found out that Darcy was pregnant she thought she had failed, but when Ella was born Darcy changed and now Bella couldn’t be prouder of her and of the newest member of the family.
Now Bella and Cole have had their life dreams come true as both are accepted as part of Chases backup dancers. What Cole and Bella also do not know that being part of the dancers will also bring changes to their lives. But the changes will also bring complications.
Will both Bella and Cole can work through the complications?
Will they both be happy with the outcome?

Chasing Logan written by Tracy Lorraine
4 stars

This book was very different than I had expected it to be. It was much more than they typical rockstar romance. This is not a genre I usually lean towards, but every now and then a book description draws me in and I go out of my comfort zone.

This story makes you sit back and think of others who are judged, because they have a different lifestyle that isn't the norm to most. It gives you an insight to see if from another side. While reading Chase’s story you can ask yourself how it would be to have to hide your true self so you will be accepted by others. Pretend to be something you're not and not be allowed to show someone how you feel about them or receive the affection you crave in return unless you are hidden behind closed doors.

Two best friends are given a chance to go on tour as dancers for the biggest up and coming rockstar. They knew going into it what the press shared about the partying, womanizing rockstar. Shortly after being on tour Cole and Bella are starting to think Chase has secrets and isn't living up to the media's hype about his lifestyle. Both Cole and Bella stick to each other since most people they meet are out to take advantage and use/do anything to get ahead in the business or a chance to be Chase’s next conquest. Cole and Bella have been there for each other when they have lived through horrific times. They plan to make the best of this experience until both of them find themselves in a very unexpected situation.

““I won’t be your dirty secret... I want you, all of you, not just the little part that you let me have.” “You have all of me.” “Yeah when we are locked away in a hotel room where no one can see. The rest of the time you let them have you,” I say gesturing to the outside world. “You let them dictate who you think you should be.””

Chasing Logan is book one in the Chasing series by Tracy Lorraine.

Cole thought being on tour as a dancer for the UK’s newest, hottest singer was going to be epic, being with his best friend Bella, they were going to have a blast. After reading about Chase, he thought he was going to has a wild, partying, woman user to party with, but this singer was moody, sulky, did not socialise with anyone. He is also drawn to Chase from the moment they lay eyes on each other.

Chase has a reputation for being a womaniser, he is happy to maintain that, on the outside people see him as a singer who has everything, the woman, the money, the life that only normal people can dream of, but he has a deep secret that he cannot let come out, from fear that it will ruin him and prevent him from doing the only thing he loves, singing.

What is his secret? Why is Cole drawn to him so much? Will Chase ever let himself be happy? Will Chase let people see the real him?

Tracy Lorraine has written an amazing book, from the first page to the last you are transfixed on the words and the world that she has created. You have Cole, who loves life, had a rough start but makes each day count and then you have Chase who oozes angst and lack of confidence in who he is. I have read many book by this author and every new book I read I fall in love with her writing and the way she draws you in until you don’t want to go back to reality, knowing that these people are not real, she makes you feel that you live their lives with them, the emotion you feel for both these characters is one you would feel for a best friend who also has these issues. This is a brilliant book and you will not be disappointed if you read it. massive five starts from me.

Chasing Logan by Tracy Lorraine is the first in what appears to be an unnamed series. I enjoyed this book from the moment I started it and was almost disappointed when I finished it. I always enjoy a good romance, but there is just something extra sweet to me about a male/male romance. I’m not sure what it is about it but it gets to me every single time.

Cole and his best friend Bella are going on tour as dancers with Chase and up and coming singer. From the moment, Cole laid eyes on Chase he was mesmerized but knew that Chase was straight so there was no chance of getting together.

Chase is going through a lot of personal stuff and instead of dealing with it head on, he goes on tour to try and escape. Instead of escaping he is nothing but a brooding grump. He doesn’t want to be around anyone until he starts spending time with Cole. Cole has a way of making him feel better without even trying and that scares Chase more than anything. He is still in the closet to his fans and most of his family and he isn’t ready to come out.

Chase and Cole both break my heart for different reasons. Chase is dealing with a family issue but not very well and he is just seems so lost and broken at one point that all I wanted to do is hug him. Cole is basically alone except for Bella and her sister. He has no relationship with his family and I felt some of that pain for him. I absolutely loved Chase’s fourteen-year-old niece Mia and what a breath of fresh air she was not only for Chase but for Cole. This had a happy for now ending and I read the sneak for the next book and I can’t wait! I highly recommend reading this book.

Chasing Logan by Tracy Lorraine – 4 stars

I’ve said this before and I will continue to say it until it’s no longer true. I wish there was no need to categorize stories as “gay romance” or put a disclaimer alerting everyone that it’s an m/m story. Love is love – period. (Jumping off my soap box)

Chasing Logan is the story of Logan Chase (clever play on the name for the title) who is a rock star on tour with his band called “Chase”. He is the lead singer, the one who holds the spotlight. He is seen on the arm of a different girl frequently and he is always in the tabloids for his conquests. Cole and his best friend Bella are dancers on tour with Chase. Cole is very open and comfortable with his sexuality and it is fun for him to fantasize that he might have a chance with Chase even though he knows it’s simply not possible. He is very sought after by other members of the dance troupe, but he declines because “camp gay guys really don’t do it for me”. He knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to wait for it.

There is a lot of angst in this story. Chase has yet to come to terms 100% with who he is and what he is all about so he just plays the “rock star” roll to perfection. He is broody and temperamental and has a wicked temper. When Cole and Chase become friendly it becomes obvious what is going on.

This is the classic romance of boy meets boy, they have amazing sex, lots of miscommunication and misdirection. Throw in to the mix family drama, profound grief and an adorable niece named Mia and you have a winning story. I look forward to the future books in this series.

When I first decided to read this book, I didn't realize it was M/M so as I was reading I was confused. I don't typically read books in this genre. I thought the book was pretty good with all things considered. I liked the main characters but loved the supporting characters even more.

Logan Chase ( Chase ) is the hottest new singer / songwriter out there. He's always grumpy and never smiles. He doesn't spend much time with his group aside from on stage doing shows.

Cole and Bella are best friends who have been through so much together. They met at a fairly young age and if it wasn't for each other, who knows where they would be today.

Chase is totally against having dancers on stage with him while he sings but, when his manager insists they end up getting dancers to be In part of the show. Bella and Cole are both chosen to be 2 of the dancers and for them to be chosen together is awesome since they can bunk together, travel together and experience all of this together.

Cole Immediately is drawn to Chase but, according to all the media buzz, Chase is into women not men. Chase and Cole have an instant connection no one else knows about.

There is a lot of back and forth in this book between Chase and Cole. They obviously care a lot for each other but, Chase is still hiding his sexuality from the world and while Cole refuses to be his dirty secret, he can't keep his distance. This book shows how people can overcome things that has happened in the past. No matter how much pain one has gone through, somehow with the help of great friends and someone who loves you, anything is possible.

When I began this book, I remember thinking to myself, I really love a good rock star romance. What I didn’t realize when I started Chasing Logan by Tracy Lorraine was that it was a m/m romance. Not my usual choice to read but as I started reading I got sucked in to this story hook, line and sinker. It no longer mattered that this wasn’t what I normally read what mattered was the story.
Cole and his BFF Bella have landed jobs as dancers for the band Chase on their tour and they couldn’t be more excited to be working for one of the top bands in the UK. Even if that means they are going to have to work with the ever grumpy, womanizing Logan Chase.
Logan Chase is not happy that he is going to have dancers in the background while he is onstage, he feels that they are just a distraction from the music. This only makes him more moody. Things start out rough but once Chase begins to spend time with Cole he finds himself with a new friend who is understanding and willing to listen.
Cole has had a rough upbringing, his childhood based on abuse and questioning his sexuality. He is now at the point that he is comfortable with his life and who he is. Cole no longer feels the need to hide who he is and who he loves. As the relationship with Chase grows Cole doesn’t want to hide what they are to each other, Chase has a problem with that.
Will they iron out their differences? Can Chase be honest with himself and his fans?
I really enjoyed this book and I feel even people, like myself, who don’t normally read m/m romance will enjoy this story also. I will be recommending it to other reader as I wait for Bella’s story to come out.
