He replied with a question, ‘Have you ever watched someone walking?’ ‘Of course I have. What do you mean?’ ‘When we take a step, we’re falling forward and the only reason we don’t fall flat on our face is because we use our other foot. We regain our balance and take another step. If it’s not progress, at least it’s progression. In the natural world progression like that is called evolution. If we think the world’s falling on its face it’s because we don’t know we have a second foot. Either that or we don’t have the imagination to use it. To move forward we simply need to find our feet and walk into the future.
