Her fellow vendors become her friends and she's located across from sexy Chase England. When he approaches her with a business proposition Macy knows she won't be able to fulfill the terms and turns the opportunity down but that was just the beginning of things between her and Chase

Sweet Spot is book 2 in Plaything Series and it was every bit as good as the first one, Easy Come. This book, like the first reads really fast, and its perfect to read in one sitting. This book tells of another one of the bachelors that own Plaything-Chase England, who has been knocked off his game by a sweet young innocent girl, and far different than anything he has been attracted to in the past! This handsome man is wanting to show this young woman everything he knows!
Macy Pennington, after waiting for her wedding for 4 years to her high school sweetheart, who insisted they remain chaste until their wedding, realizes at her wedding rehearsal dinner not all is as it seems when she sees her maid of honor and fiance together in a bathroom stall. Macy breaks off the wedding and decides that since she can't get her dream to own a bakery, she decides to set up a coffee and pastry cart, with her own baked goods, and gets quite a following the first week!
Once she sets eyes on Chase England, try as she might to not be nice to him or give him the time of day, he just keeps on being so wonderful and nice to her!
The question is, will she be able to withstand this playboy's moves? Does she really want to?
Chase-he has a different view of Macy and when she lets out one night she is still innocent, that is it for him-this girl is going to be his forever girl, if he can make her realize his true feelings!
Loved this book, the dialog, the plot, and as usual great angst and wonderful steamy scenes to keep you reading until you are done!
I gave this book 5*****stars and can't wait for #3!

Chase sometimes only hears what he wants to hear, "...that led me to my next stupid, but, for me, completely predictable remark. "You're a virgin?" There are times Macy doesn't have to ask twice for things, "Chase, could we try that again? That whole kissing thing. Could we do that—" My request was cut short by his mouth." I really liked this book, it's short enough just to crave your naughty appetite.

If you read EASY COME, Book 1 in Tess Oliver's new short story series PLAYTHING, (and although these are all standalones, they are still connected, and I would hate for you to miss one!), you will remember Chase England (gorgeous "Face" of the Plaything company, and, apparently, resident man-whore, and personally, I was especially looking forward to his story....because don't we love seeing those dirty talking alpha guys tamed by unimpressed-by-their-greatness girls who these guys have to "chase" (no pun intended).....but since It's written by Tess Oliver...you know she's found the perfect girl in sweet, innocent Macy Pennington, a professional pastry chef??...Two people...complete opposites...who attract like a magnet to steel and no one is more surprised and confused than Chase and Macy, themselves.....

Simply fantastic! Sweet Spot is the second book in Tess Oliver’s new series called Plaything. Sweet Spot is a story about Chase and Macy. Chase is one of four HOT owners at Plaything. He is the “face” of Plaything. Chase is a playboy, always has one or two women hanging on his arm. Macy is a girl who had her heart broken during her wedding rehearsal dinner and…well, Macy is a virgin. Chase is intrigued by Macy. His feelings for her knock him off kilter, and he is not sure why. I do not want to spoil the book for anyone, so let me just say that this is a short love story, and while it is a quick read, it is such an awesome read. You truly will enjoy the journey of Chase and Macy’s growing relationship. You will fall in love with these two characters. They have both have such a sense of humor, so much chemistry, and let’s not forget some wild sex scenes. You will be so glad you did not miss out on this one. Sweet Spot, hits all the right spots!!! This is the second book in the series of Playthings and just as good as the first. Getting to know Chase and Macy is amazing. Macy is an inexperienced girl with a past that is damaged and hurt, she is trying to overcome and break through on top. When she meets the well-known Chase England, with his Playboy reputation. Can he help her find pleasure in a future with new light and fulfill inexperience she has never had? He has never found the one that has made his heartbeat for one woman before… Macy has something different. This story is hot, sweet and sexy! You fall in love with these characters. Tess Oliver delivers us another 5-star book! I can’t wait for more!

This was Macy and Chase's book and never mind Sweet spot the title should have been called "So Hot !". As you can probably guess this one was a scorcher !!!!. Its the tale of insatiable Chase and his love of the female form :0) and Macy.......after being hurt and let down she guards her heart but never did she see Chase coming !!! These two are a match made in cup cake heaven x
Fabulous read, great pace, plot and characters. Tess is a truly amazing author who writes quality reads xx I continue to be bowled over !!

Wow! I love this author! I don't think I was expecting to love this series as much as I do when I randomly saw that I owned the first book already. I loved Chase and Macy. I loved the chemistry between them. Even though they had their ups and downs, I love how eventually they came back together. I think the author does a great job with not being overly obnoxious with the sexual content. I actually feel like it's not a huge part of the book, even though it takes place. Some authors go a little overboard, but this is perfect. I already can't wait to read the rest of this series.

These books are fun, quick reads! The book follows the story of Chase and Macy. Chase works for plaything as one of the founders and the public relations officer and Macy is a baker who just got cheated on by her fiancé. While Chase is a known playboy, Macy is a virgin so when the two get together, it sure is an interesting match! This book does have some smut and isn’t FTB but it is relatively mild.

She wants to be able to start her own bakery but she needs to save the money first. Chase is a man who can't stick to one woman that is until he meets Macy. Chase is the face of Playthings, a multi-million dollar company that has a monthly subscription service where members receive a box filled with sexy items. Macy is a pastry chef but very innocent sexually. Opposites attract and they gravitate towards each other.
These characters showed us themselves in an honest way. Although it is a short story their relationship has time to develop. Chase is patient and considerate to Macy's needs and Macy is very direct and honest.
It is a very short read so I was left wondering about the details and thinking about the characters after finishing the book. I look forward to reading the rest of the series

The title says it all. You have a sweet spot for Marcy, but the sexy comes from Chase. The combination of them is amazing. Sweet and sexy all in one book. Onto book 3....I can't get enough. I love Tess's books.

This book hit a big Sweet Spot. Chase the ultimate playboy finds love with a baker. She was sweet and adorable. These two were perfect together. The sweet slow sizzle that catches fire. Just fabulous. I have to say I am loving this series

Better than the first one, though it still doesn't have that 'Ohhh migosh' factor, if you know what I mean. I was fine, but I wasn't particularly invested in the characters.

Book two in the Playthings series was so sexy and HOT!!! Chase is the charismatic face of Playthings a monthly subscription box you get full of fun n the bedroom goodies and Macy is a sweet pastry chef with a little kiosk by Chase's penthouse.... Macy hasn't had the best of luck with men but Chase turns that around for her. Loved the chemistry between them. Should be able to read in an afternoon. Would recommend this series!!

Another great read from Tess Olivier. This series is a fun and fast little read that leaves you wanting. This story is about Chase and Macy! You can't help but fall in love with both characters. Tess has a natural ability to develop characters that you would be friends with, that become part of your world. Chase is a charmer and then some, a classic playboy. Macy is trying to find herself on her own. When they meet will sparks fly, will they help each other really discover themselves? It's fun, naughty and a general delight.
