Ransom (Aces & Eights Motorcycle Club #1) is written by authors Logan Chance and Jacob Chance.
Release Date: March 23, 2017
Read: March 18, 2017
My Rating: 5
Cover: 4
POV: First Person dual perspectives from Liam and Rory (both heroes)
Standalone: Can be read as a standalone but part of a series
Series: Aces & Eights Motorcycle Club
Genres: Dark Romance, Suspense, Erotica, Violence

So the truth is I wasn't sure what this book was going to be about. I just knew it was an MC novel. Was it romance? Was it suspense? Was there violence? Since I have read both of these authors before, I knew I was likely going to enjoy this novel. If I were to judge this book by the cover, I would not guess it was a sugary sweet romance.

It wasn't sugary and it wasn't sweet. I don't even think I would call the relationships between the two mains and their girls, romantic. Liam and Rory did love their girls, though. Ransom had passion, protectiveness, possessiveness, and the intimacy was sexy and erotic. Yes there was violence too.

Liam and Rory are two of six brothers. All six are members of the Aces & Eights motorcycle club. The bothers are close and protective of one another. They are all loyal 'brothers' of the MC club as well. As I said, this book is not sugary, not sweet, not very romantic. There are real and dangerous circumstances going on throughout. There is violence. There is blood. There is retribution and death.

You do not mess with the Aces & Eights or those they care about.

Throughout the book we will have alternating POVs from the heroes only, Liam and Rory Fox. Even though I felt the main focus for both men was their ladies, there really isn't a lot of interaction with them, considering. I did not mind the lack of relationship development since I was engrossed with the suspense and action aspects. I will say that despite the fact we really don't get much interaction with Fallon and Audrey, it is explained that there is previous history between them and the men.

But I will say this again.....don't get on the brother's bad side!

A few incidents occur that I didn't expect and was surprised. Some of the story was a little predictable for me. That's not a bad thing. Since this book is fast-paced and can be read in a few hours, I won't give away any spoilers; I won't tell you what my predictions were. Truthfully, I'm a guesser. My curious mind is always trying to figure the plots out. It's how I read.

I loved this book! I really did!

The story is full of action and sexiness and a half dozen alpha Fox brothers. ;)

I know that with the short length of this book, only so much can be told/explained. However, I wish there was at least a small amount of backstory on each brother. For example, some inferences were made but I would have liked to know descriptions of age, persona, etc. Considering Ransom is the first book in the series, I expected a bit more than we got. But like I said, it was a short book and only so much can be said in that length.

I have read a lot of MC novels. The authors did a great job of giving us a realistic picture of what MC clubs are like. The details were believable, the fight scenes were also done well. I felt like I was there and damn if I didn't chew off a couple of fingernails.

That said, there are more brothers and more books. I can't wait to find out what is next for Aces & Eights, Fox brothers. Especially one in particular...I have a soft spot for Keagan. ;)

*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. My opinions are honest and unbiased.*

I have to start off by saying I don't typically read too many MC books, it's not that I don't like them, they just aren't my go to kind of story. With that being said I have become a huge and loyal fan of Jacob and Logan's, I will pretty much read whatever these two write. I really enjoyed this story. There was plenty of action and hot n' steamy sex scenes were definitely present. Maybe not to the same caliber that I have become accustomed to, but I'm blaming that on the length of the story.

I also wish that we got to know more about Liam and Rory. Again I believe the length of the book did not allow this, but from what I read, I wanted to know more about them. It just seemed like there was so much more to learn about them and that their path to where they currently are wasn't as cut and dry as it appeared to be. So I am hoping that we get more insight into just who the Fox Brothers are in future instalments of this series.

I could not put this down and I devoured it in just. Couple of hours. It was definitely fast paced, with lots of action with sex scenes that will buckle your knees and leave you begging for more. I am totally looking forward to the next instalment of the Aces & Eights Motorcycle Club series.

6 smoking hot Irish brothers who are also bikers!!! Need I say more?
Ransom by Jacob and Logan Chance exceeded my expectations. I figured it would be a great read, but wow these guys put all of themselves into this book and the pay off is huge. Their combined writing styles flowed effortlessly and seamlessly. They had me engrossed from start to finish. Ransom is gritty, raw and scoring hot!

All 6 Fox brothers, Liam, Rory, Colin, Finn, Patrick and Keegan are all part of The Aces & Eights Motorcycle Club. Ransom is told in a dual POVs, by two of the brothers, Liam the Vice President & Rory the Sergeant at arms of the club. They give us background into their past and we find out, why they became who they are..... These boys are tough as nails. Their world is violent and menacing, but that hasn't changed what is in their hearts. When they love, they love fiercely! Putting family and their crew above all else. Love & loyalty!

Ransom has a multitude of layers and is jam packed with action. Plus there's two deep, soul searing love stories between Rory & Fallon and Liam & Audrey. Four people who have nothing but roadblocks surrounding their relationships. There's crazy chemistry between the guys and their women. Don't even get me started on the heat radiating off this book. Phew! The dirty talking and sex scenes had me hot and bothered, while the suspence and action kept me flipping the pages.

The Chance Boys did a fantastic job on their first join endeavor!! I honestly loved everything about Ransom. Now they need to hurry up and give us more.....

Ransom by Jacob Chance and Logan Chance is the first book in the Aces & Eights Motorcycle Club series. This book focuses on two of the six brothers, Liam and Rory Fox. If you have read the authors previous work then you are familiar with their writing style. Ransom is definitely different it's a faced paced MC read with action and violence. There is some sexy and hot scenes, don't be expecting all hearts and flowers. It's told in Liam and Rory's POV.

There are six Fox brothers, Liam, Rory, Colin, Finn, Patrick, and Keegan. All the brothers are members of the Ace & Eights motorcycle club. Liam and Rory are the VP and Sergeant of the club, both are very dedicated and loyal to the club and the President. Both men in love with woman they shouldn't be, but will stop at nothing to protect them. Circumstances arise for the club and the brothers bringing danger to not only them but to the woman they love, Fallon and Audrey. Blood will be shed, death may loom, there is retribution to be had. Who will fall, who will come up on top? You definitely want to read this one, so sit back and enjoy the ride, it's one hell of a ride!

I'm looking forward to reading the next installment in the series, the epilogue leaves us the reader with a glimpse as to who is next in book two. I can't wait to find out more about the Fox brothers, each have a story of their own to tell.

This book was really good. It was sexy like really sexy, angsty, and filled with brotherhood love. This book is stereotypical a bit. It's an MC that deals in trading guns, owns a strip club, and the antagonist is from a rival gang. But... the authors do deliver a great story.

It is dual pov. The characters are brothers and are the oldest of a total of six brothers. After their mother is murdered by an unknown man, all six join the Aces and Eights MC. Now they deal in trading guns as well as owning their stripper club. The Fox brothers are really close and very loving and protective of each other. If someone messes with one of them, they mess with all of them.

Liam and Rory are hungover their first loves. Liam is after Fallon who is the presidents daughter. He thinks he is and can never be good enough for her. He keeps his distance but doesn't mean someone else can have her. Rory is after Audrey who is a member of their rival gang The Devil's Way. They have history. But now she's the enemy.

I did love this story. The timeline was perfect. The action. The characters. The chemistry. I can't wait for Finns' story next because that is gonna be good.

Blood by birth, brothers by choice.

6 Hot Irish brothers all part of the Aces & Eights MC

Ransom is a hot, fast paced, quick read that has more than enough angst and action to fulfil any MC lovers appetite.

Told in the pov's of Rory and Liam, two brothers who amongst all the club action have their sights set on the women they want to claim.

Rory is secretly in love with the Prez's daughter and Liam lost his high school sweetheart to a rival club, both guys have been longing to get their girls and the time is now.

An adventurous hot read with kidnappings, danger and both guys eventually getting their hea.

More! More! More please!!!! This was the first book in the series about the Aces & Eights MC and I. NEED. MORE!

This book brings us an introduction to the Fox brothers. It focuses on the VP and Sergeant at Arms, Lo and Knuckles or Liam and Rory Fox. This is a 1% club but is family to this men. We get the lay of the land so to speak in Vegas. A who's who----the players, the decision makers, the enforcers.

Great writing once again by the Chance brothers. And here in is the issue. What story we got was fantastic! Suspense, lust, love, gritty street justice....LOVED. I just thought there could be more. Things move pretty fast. The story is from both Liam and Rory's POV. I would have liked to see more character development and given we have two HEA's here, more meat to the stories.

None of that detracts from the fact that what we do get is well written. Looking forward to meeting the rest of the brothers in more detail. Good beginning to a new MC series!

Wow I freaking loved this book. Logan and Jacob have teamed up to bring us this new MC series. The Chance Brothers write incredibly well together and honestly what did you expect from two extremely talented writers. Separately they are amazing but together well I can't even put it in to words.

Ransom is the first book in the Aces & Eights MC series, the series follows six brothers, Liam, Rory, Patrick, Keegan, Finn and Colin. Book 1 is Liam and Rory's story, yes it is told in dual POV. It's a fast paced read with plenty of action and sexiness, it's definitely not like any other MC book I've read. The prologue alone pulled me in and from there I was pulled in to the clubhouse life, hooked until the end. I cannot wait to read the next book, I can't recommend this book enough you won't be disappointed.

This is the first instalment of the MC story centred around six brothers, Liam, Rory, Colin, Finn, Patrick, and Keegan who found themselves with the club after a set of circumstances lead them there. It mainly follows two of the brothers, Liam and Rory Fox and is told in dual point of view. Liam goes by Lo and Rory is known as Knuckles. The brotherhood is a big part of their lives. Crime, riding ,drinking and women are their main focus.

Liam is the vice president and Rory the sergeant at the Aces and Eights motorcycle club. They are extremely loyal and look up to their club president, Mick. He took all six brothers in years ago when they’d been hit by a personal tragedy. Fallon, his daughter, is his pride and joy; she’s young, pretty and at university. Mick has done his best to protect his little girl from the perils of the motorcycle club. Rory heads up the club security and is in deep with his feelings for Fallon. However, he is also aware Mick wouldn’t like anything to develop between his daughter and to top the lot, one of his men! Rory is mindful, tries to keep his feelings in check where she is concerned and ooh boy, could I see his dilemma.

Liam at first comes across as a hard drinking womaniser, but there’s so much more to him than that. It becomes evident he’s a rebel to the cause and has feelings for a lady called Audrey. He had a thing for her years ago, unfortunately he doesn't want to go there as she's a member of a rival motorcycle club, The Devils Way.

This first instalment is full of twists and turns; action packed with violence, hot and steamy moments, exactly what you would expect from an MC book. Apart from the grit, there are enough bittersweet moments to make you swoon completely over the Fox brothers. It was a rollercoaster of a ride and full of every emotion you can think of. Although it's a novella, it contains a lot of content to the story and had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't put this book down. In fact I'm doing a reread.

"Boys you know what to do about our friend here."

"Oh, one more thing hombre," "If any of us see you in our territory again, we're going to cut you into little pieces and ship you back to the Devil's Way in a box. Is that clear enough for you?"

I find MC books quite a thrilling read and this did not disappoint. It's the first collaboration by the two authors and while I have read their works individually, I was completely excited to read something they worked on together. They both compliment each other's writing immensely and am thrilled by this series and totally look forward to more about the Fox brothers. There is a burning question to the reasons why they ended up in the club. Saying that, I'm pretty sure all will be revealed. I am positive this is going to be a fantastic series. I award five stars for everything this story has and more. I haven't stopped thinking about it.

"What are you thinking in that big brain of yours?"

"It's not the only thing that's big."

For their first collaboration, the Chance brothers have written a very good MC novella. One I can easily see becoming a much sought after series. It’s about the clubhouse life, business and brotherhood surrounding the six Fox brothers. The brother are all members of the Aces and Eights MC out of Vegas and have been in the club for 12 years, ever since Mick took them in when their mother was murdered.

Ransom starts off the series by giving the reader background info about the bothers and the club. The authors have written a very well thought out storyline that will have you smiling, worrying and drooling as you read along. One thing is for sure the Fox brothers, live, love and play hard in awesome badboy biker fashion. My only complaint is the book ended too soon as this reader wants More of the Ace and Eights MC club and the oh so sexy Fox brothers.

To the authors I say Great Job and to anyone looking for a great start to an MC series I say 1-click Ransom ASAP, you won’t be sorry!

Wow, Have not read a book from these authors before. But I downloaded this story in the morning, started it at lunch and yep you guessed it finished that same night. Every chapter captivates you and wont let you put it down.
It's an MC kinda romance. As in plenty of strong, hot badass guys getting there ever after chick!
Lots of sex and mixed in with some MC violence. Great read. I highly recommend you buying this book and getting straight into reading

“How far do you think your head would travel if I knocked it off your body?”

Sigh. Man after my own heart.

The cover promises death and blood. I hope there's a-fucking-lot! Because that's what brought my attention to this book. The MC is a bonus, because who doesn't get wet riding on a motorcycle, I mean hard, I mean right? The purr of the engine and its power, can you feel it?

This book is fast-paced and is told in dual POV, Rory and Liam. They are two of the six brothers whom are all full patched members of Aces & Eights Motorcycle Club. It's everything you can expect from an MC, what goes on in their club, the angst and most especially my favorite, the violence.

One thing that didn't do it for me though was that it was too fast-paced for my liking. Too many things happening in such a short time and that feeling without a downtime, when your adrenaline is just too high and suspended without that feeling of ever going down? Yep, exhausting.

Probably I expected more, too. Some of the scenes were predictable for my liking. And its one of my pet peeve when a character just go off without a thought, it makes me want to bash his head and let the blood drip... Going on.

The characters are pre-set, with the love of their lives so close yet so far. But this isn't a romantic love story and so, it's just what it is. Just you know, get it? Cause I can't explain. lol It was just that this book is the first in the series, and I'm usually critical with those including minute details because you are getting bombarded with a lot of information and you're not just getting the MCs (main characters) for this book, but the whole club and everything that goes with it including their enemies and their operations because you are in for the whole series.

But I feel there's more in store, because I've been feeling that feeling that there should be more. To fill that hole in my gut that I felt missing.

“Blood by birth - Brothers by choice.”

I enjoy motorcycle club books and this one did not disappoint at all. We're told of 6 Fox brothers that are part of the Ace's and Eights MC, book 1 is focused on the point of views of Liam and Rory. This story is hot, thrilling and will have your attention from the very beginning till the very last sentence. Jacob and Logan have written one helluva story and it's only the beginning, I cannot wait for more. Incredible read, incredible story. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Who doesn't love a Hot as F***,Dirty talking, generally speaking BAD-A** Biker? The MC Genre has become a very popular choice for some Author's(I have at least 6 that are a go-to for that) and when the Chance Brothers-Logan and Jacob (who have individually achieved great success in the past year and continue to do so ) announced a first time collaboration-a venture into the MC world,I was intrigued as to how they would take a popular subject and make it their own! At first,I'll admit, when reading ,I wasn't totally convinced...probably due to having read so many MC books before- BUT on doing a re-read,my views changed! (and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan of their writing as I've read all their previous work)

6 Brother's: Liam,Rory,Colin,Finn,Patrick and Keegan Fox...all members of the Aces and Eights MC-
All having joined after suffering a tragic loss, seeking retribution, that is still to be had...

This, the first is really Liam and Rory's story, told in alt POV (one brother writing Liam/the other Rory)and as the blurb states, each hold a role of importance within the MC,what follows,is some drama with a rival club, that leads to some unexpected bloodshed, alongside the very HOT scenes between the brother's and the women that they shouldn't want but have -in Liam's case-Audrey with whom he has a complicated History with...and in Rory's-the ultimate off limits-his Prez's daughter Fallon..who is a good few years younger(though not underage!)It moves at quite a pace, and the Epilogue, which is told from another brother's POV,is obviously the set up for the next book.
I along with many other's will be waiting to see what's next for the Fox Brother's and the MC,and it will be interesting with the changes that have been made within this story (not giving much more away) where both Logan and Jacob take this series.

Ransom by Logan Chance and Jacob Chance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I absolutely love this book! Ever since I heard they were writing a book together, I couldn't wait for it to come out! This book had me from the first page.
It was hot, had angst and humor.
This is the first book in a series.
There are six Fox brothers, Liam, Rory, Colin, Finn, Patrick and Keegan. All the brothers are members of the Aces & Eights motorcycle club.
This first book is written in Liam and Rory's POV. It's a little dirty, humorous, angst and passionate. This book is somewhat face paced yet has action and sexiness bundled inside. I couldn't put it down.
I can't wait for the next book!!!!

I've read all of Jacob's work and a couple of Logan's, enough to have high hopes for this collaborative work of the Chance Brothers, and it didn't disappoint. Moving in a breathtaking, what's going to happen next fashion and being read in the time frame of an extended SOA episode. Rory and Liam's story good enough for a standalone but setup groundwork for a great series. Looking forward to Colin and Finn's story.

WOW!!!

I read Ransom in under 2 hours. It is a quick, fast paced kick @ss ride. Loved getting to know Rory and his brothers.

The Aces and Eights is a Motorcycle Club that Rory and his brothers joined after an unthinkable event happened in there life. When justice wasn't being taken care of by the law they sought refuge from the MC.

Ransom is full of drama, death, blood, lust and love. Underneath it all there is a story of love mixed in. Even though this book was a quick read I truly enjoyed reading it.

Definitely looking forward to the next book in this series and to see what unfolds. You can never go wrong with a group of bad @ss MC boys!

Separately the Chance Brothers write great books. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with!

Logan and Jacob Chance have combined their talent for writing hot, filthy talking, alpha males and thrilling action/suspense, with the dangerous and gritty world of the Aces and Eights Motorcycle Club.

The 6 Fox brothers have stuck by each other’s sides since their mother’s bloody death several years ago. The oldest boys, only teens at the time of her passing, were taken under the wing of Aces and Eights MC President Mick. He looked out for the Fox boys and the club gave them a family and a home when they had neither.

Rory and Liam, the oldest brothers, have worked their way up through the ranks of the MC and hold positions of high esteem. They’re known to be callous, ruthless and loyal; willing to die for any of their brothers, whether they’re family by blood or by choice.

Behind their tough and violent exteriors, both Liam and Rory find themselves torn up over women they can’t have. They may act cold and heartless around the club members and the sinkholes, but deep down they would do anything for Audrey and Fallon.

When Fallon gets caught in the crossfire between Aces and Eights and their rival gang, Rory swears to do whatever necessary to get her safely into his arms, but with a rat within the organization, it always seems like they’re a step behind the enemy. They’ve already lost someone to this war and they refuse to lose anyone else. Can Liam and Rory exact revenge and still get Fallon home safely or will the Fox men have to choose between loyalty to the club and the chance at love?

Standalone within a series. Can’t wait for book 2! Loved this sexy, action packed MC romance.

Title: Ransom
Author: Jacob Chance & Logan Chance

4 unexpected stars

As far as i know, this is the first collaboration between the Chance brothers, Jacob and Logan Chance. Ransom tells the story of the Aces & Eight Motorcycle Club, more specifically, the story of the six Fox brother s after the brutal murder of their mother and their decision to join the club in the hopes of finding the killer. Concentrating on the eldest two, Rory and Liam, we find out so much about them and how deep their loyalties lies when it comes to their blood brothers and those that they chose. VP of the club, Liam is forced to become a leader after a horrific tragedy, bringing him face to face to the woman of his life that got away when he pushed her away and she joined the rival MC gang. Rory has always loved Fallon, the president's daughter, and events will finally bring them together.

4 breath taking dreams

It was an interesting start to a new series and i loved seeing the differences in both men. I still have many questions - those that i'm certain will be answered as the series continues on. Even though Rory and Liam's story has been told, i have a feeling we'll be finding out more about them as we keep reading the Aces & Eight MC. A great collaboration between the brothers that I can't wait to read more from in the very near future!

This is the first installment in the Aces & Eights MC series by Logan and Jacob Chance, a MC romance series with lots of action, intrigue and passion. The light and funny thing is long gone, all we have this time is lots of adrenaline. Are you ready to hit the road with them?

Maybe you've read these authors before, so you'll be totally surprised by the change in the tono of the books they are introducing.

With different and well marked styles, these brothers wrote together for the first time to give a voice to Rory and Liam, 2 of the Fox brothers. They joined the Aces & Eights MC after their mother's murder.

They were looking for retribution, and in exchange they found more than a club. A family.

But life in a motorcycle club isn't a fairytale, and not all of the gorgeous men are princes charming...

This story is set in Las Vegas, and in the first chapter we met Rory. He's the Sergeant at Arms of Aces & Eights. So, he's not the white knight in the shining armor waiting to save the pricess.

Or maybe he is, just that he's a different kind of knight. A dirty one.

He's been in love with Fallon McCarthy (President's daughter) and he's been trying to keep her as far as possible from him. Their atraction is something fierce and strong, but for Rory love is a weakness and with his lifestyle, he can't be weak. What he doesn't know is that his resolve is about to be tested.

Later we met Liam. He made the most hilarious entry to the story. He seems to be the funniest of the Fox brothers, but he's also the one with the darkest secret. He left the love of his life behind to join the club, to find revenge for his mother's death. Rory has been having meaningless encounters with faceless women, giving them pleasure but denying himself the chance to let go.

This story is fast paced and totally addictive. When I say this book is different of the previous works of both, Jacob and Logan, I mean it. The vertiginous narration, the development of the characters and the unexpected situations Rory and Liam has to face are simply amazing. If you haven't fall in love with these guys yet, with Ransom you will. I loved every single page and can't wait to discover what happens next.

This is such a fantastic MC book. The Chance brothers writing together is brilliant. Being a big fan of MC stories, I really enjoyed meeting the Fox brothers. I can't wait to read the rest of the brothers stories.

This story flowed nicely, the characters are sexy, intriguing and all deliciously bad boy alphas. The sexy scenes were smoking hot. I loved that one of the leading ladies rides her own bike.

Just another book about tough guys who like sex and how in love they fall with one particular woman (two, in this case) because the rest is just trash. The action was fast and I barely registered it as it was, luckily, the actual sex wasn’t that much, otherwise, half this book (or novella, maybe? It’s super short) would have been a lost cause.

I don’t know why I kept reading. I guess I was in one of those moods where I wanted to see if this wasn’t just another Sons of Anarchy rip-off. Too bad. It felt like it, except we don’t have a Jax here, instead, a brotherhood —literally, 6 brothers— and a lot of cursing and whatnot. The women in this book? Well, picture this: except for the dead mother of the aforementioned brotherhood (seriously, props to that lady for giving birth to six hellions, no dad in the picture, thank you very much), only two came to have some meaning. Fallon and Audrey. But this wasn’t a novella about how they developed relationships with Rory and Liam respectively. They were more like props. The dudes needed a romantic interest? BAM! Give them these girls. Not to mention, Fallon was under 21, and I’m thinking even under 18 when Rory met her. He was 30. I understand twisted and forbidden love. This? Well, I’m still wrapping my head around it, because no matter how much it was portrayed, for me it still felt like pure old lust, nothing else. You can desire someone for a long time, especially when denied, but love? Give me a break!

Like I said, this was too short. The action felt too perfect, or, at the very least, these dudes did. It was like they were untouchables or something, and as soon as they came, they shot the bad guys, they won. The End… of the conflict. Sadly, the story kept going for a bit more.

What The Royal Fuck?

Anyway, read this if you feel like something passing in a blur. It would have worked more as a longer book. This is like a freaking excerpt.

I have been waiting for this collaboration of Jacob and Logan Chance since I first found out they would be writing a MC read. I have become a fan of both the MC genre and these two authors, so my expectations were high.

In Ransom we get the story of Liam and Rory they are two out of six brothers, so this is going to make for one interesting series that I will be looking forward too. Ransom has the dominate males that I love, the strong woman they want, the sexual (down right dirty) passion, and that suspense that kept me on the edge through out my read.

Liam and his brother Rory join Aces & Eights MC club after a family tragedy, it becomes their life and the members along with their blood brothers have a strong bond to protect one another and those that the members love. Jacob and Logan Chance give you one story of two brothers and the women they desire and both are forbidden, but with these tough alpha males will that be enough to keep them away? The club finds themselves in a territorial battle with their rival which leaves the members having to protect everyone that matters. The testosterone is felt through out the story with the guns a blazing and sexual prowess that these brothers exude. Ransom is a fast read that left me wanting the next book, which I have learned that the Chance brothers are great with cliffhangers, I love that in their writing style. I can't wait for more of the Fox brothers!!! 4.5 Star Read!

Logan and Jacob Chance enter the MC World......absolutely brilliant!!!!

RANSOM is the first collaboration by Logan and Jacob Chance, and thank goodness it won't be their last!!!! Individually they are wonderful writers, but together, they simply shine. i was really looking forward to reading this book, nd the Chance Brothers certainly didn't let me down. This is the first book in their ACES & EIGHTS MC Series, but it can most definitely be read as a standalone.

RANSOM focuses on two of the six Fox brothers, who are members of the MC, Liam and Rory. Their story is told from both their POVs. This is a strong and powerful story of ove between two brothers and the women that they love. It is a story of protection and what these men will do to protect those women.

There is action a plenty throughout the story and the Chance boys certainly know how to keep you interested fromt the very beginning. The style of their writing leds to a fast paced novel with life and death situations throughout it. There is also a touch of comedy thrown in, just to give the reader a few lighthearted moments amongst all the heavy drama.

This is an extraordinary read from Logan and Jacob. For their first collaboration the have written a story with enough grit and angst that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. Well done boys!!!

Ransom is the first book in the Aces and Eights MC books by Logan and Jacob Chance. This is the first time the brothers collaborated on a book, and man they didn't disappoint at all. This book was well written, action packed, fast paced, suspenseful and down right dirty in a very sexy way. Ransom grabs ahold of its readers from the prolouge and keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very last page. This book is in Rory and Liam's POV. They are the VP and Sergeant of the club and the oldest of the six Fox brothers who joined 12 years ago. They are both extremely loyal and dedicated to the club and are in love with women, who they should probably stay away from. But will stop at nothing to protect. So when danger presents itself for not only the members of the club, but for thier women as well, the bullets start flying and the body count starts to grow and they don't stop till justice is served.

Logan and Jacob writing separately is incredible, them writing together was mind-blowing. I really can't wait for the rest of this series and I hope they continue to collaborate on future books. 5 Wild Stars will earned.
