An unwilling executive, an unyielding bachelor and an undercover playboy discover they cannot escape love when it finds them. With dangerous situations pulling them apart, how can they hold on to the women who have captured their hearts? This collection includes books 1 to 3 of the steamy, stirring and suspenseful Captured by Love series. Each book in this series can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Book 1: The Unwilling Executive
Lucas Renner never expected his biological father to start acknowledging him as a son and only heir. He bet the old man has ulterior motives that has nothing to do with wanting to develop a relationship with him. He refuses to make contact with the man who has rejected him all his life... until his father's message is hand-delivered by a blushing beauty who stirs him in the right places.

Jade Tully thanks her lucky stars for her new role as the personal assistant to a wealthy CEO. Heaven knows she needs it. But she doesn't anticipate getting entangled in the personal conflict between her eccentric boss and his extremely hunky son--a man who rattles her poise and melts her heart. If she continues to do her boss's bidding, would she lose Lucas's trust and her chance to capture his heart?

Book 2: The Unyielding Bachelor
Rick Donnelly is under contract to remain unattached until his fifteen-year-old half-sister turns twenty-one. If he breaks the rules, not only will he have to hand over the management of his sister's substantial inheritance to his reckless stepmother, but he'll also have to transfer twenty percent ownership of his company to the untrustworthy woman. When the tempting Lexie Mead decides to knock down his heart's defenses, he finds himself in danger of breaking the contract's strict conditions--something he simply cannot afford to do.

Lexie Mead has long had feelings for the hunky Rick Donnelly. Tired of being treated as just another one of his friends, she sets out to win his heart from prettier and more aggressive women admirers. But Rick has complications to deal with... and enemies who will do anything to see him fail. She doesn't want him to lose the things he's worked hard to keep. But how can they have a future together when she is forced to walk away and Rick can't ask her to stay?

Book 3: The Undercover Playboy
Detective Carter Garrett is required to play the role of a cash-strapped playboy to solve an important case. When Cassie Stephens starts working in the art gallery owned by a suspect, his growing feelings for her threaten to blow his cover. He mustn't let Cassie in on the secret. It could ruin his team's best chance at catching a group of criminals whose leader could very well be Cassie's new boss. But when Cassie gets embroiled in the case, his heart joins in on the action--a dangerous situation he cannot allow to persist.

Cassie Stephens is ecstatic to land a high-paying job with perks anyone would envy. To her further delight, her new boss has business dealings with the charming Carter Garrett, her friend's hunky brother. But being aware of Carter's playboy ways, she orders herself not to dream of a future with him... until her new boss shares a secret about Carter she wasn't at all expecting. With everything seeming too good to be true, how far away are heartbreak and danger?

Miranda P. Charles writes swoonworthy, stirring, and steamy contemporary romance novels with oh-so-sweet heroes and strong heroines.

She prefers to spend her time in front of her laptop, putting into words the love stories that play in her head. Don't get her started with reading a great book, though, because she tends to not put it down until she gets to the last page even if she loses sleep.

She does have a life outside of books. Mostly, that consists of bonding with family and friends or going on romantic trips with her awesome husband.

She lives in the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia.

Boring

The first book in this series started out interestingly enough - likable characters, decent albeit predictable storyline - but by the second chapter I was bored. Dialogue was wooden and flat, intimate scenes were dumb, resolution of the big misunderstanding came too easily and then -gasp - a second, identical misunderstanding. Again? Really? Yawn.
I started the second book, don’t know why. I lasted through a couple chapters but the storyline was so unbelievable I quit. I don’t plan on finishing this series or reading this author again.

I wanted to love it....

*Disclaimer: I only read the first book in the series.
I wanted to love it but I only like it. I felt some comrades with Jade. She was strong uber sweet and a little timid. Lukas, is a ladies man through and through but I didn't get the impression that he was overly Alpha. The plot was a little fuzzy and details throughout the story were lacking. Heat rating I would give a 4out of 5.

The Unwilling Executive
A tale of a life-time of hurt and fear, as well as the struggles of single parenthood and the joy that comes from a special bond between a mother and her son as they combat those struggles together. And lets not forget the joys and hurts from falling in love, especially when there appears to be more misunderstandings than not.
Jade has just started a new job as PA to Mr. Bilton, a job that she desperately needs if she wants to continue to help her brother and his family cope with their extensive medical bills as their infant son, her nephew, requires a heart operation and special care. He’s sent her on what he’s deemed, an extremely important errand…to deliver a letter to one Lucas Renner. If she only knew just how much her life was about to change. Lucas is late for what he thinks is an interview. When the lovely Jade clarifies the meeting’s purpose, he feels betrayed. But there’s something about Jade that won’t let him be rude, nor, it would appear, can he say no to her, so when she has him read a letter, of which she claims to know nothing about, and give her his response, he feels like he has no choice. And when he later finds himself bumping into her at different times, he begins to question his motives. Will he be willing to open his heart and let her in? Will his heart even give him a choice?
A wonderful tale of love and how it will conquer all if we let it. Well written with a flow that is easy to follow and fall into, you won’t want to put it down once you begin.

The Unyielding Bachelor
OMG! If it got any hotter, the pages would explode and burn to ashes! Wow! Another heated story that will not only grab your attention from page one to the end, but will have you burning up as the flames of love mingle with the fingers of jealousy, hurt, suspicion and danger. Rick, the second of the confirmed bachelors to find his way possibly off of the “available” list, he fights not only his attraction to the beautiful Lexie, but the suspect attitude of his step mother and her malicious contract she had him sign years ago in order to protect his younger sister. Lexie has been in love with Rick forever, and has decided it’s time she does something about it. The only problem would be that it seems Rick isn’t “into” her like she is to him. But things change in the space of a second! Will she ever get her chance to truly love him like she needs? Or will he continue his playboy ways?
A beautiful story that will warm your heart, even after it has it pumping with the suspense and action, and anticipation.

The Undercover Playboy
OMG! Who could have ever imagined how this story would end, let alone how it began? Disgruntled Cassie has been looking for a new job for what seems like forever, so when the “opportunity of a lifetime” fell in her lap, she grabbed it like her life depended on it. When she decided she needed to celebrate her windfall, she also decided it was time to reach for something else she desperately wanted…or who that is. When Carter is propositioned by Cassie, he’s gobsmacked, so to speak, unable to form a word, never mind make a decision. But when his heart slows down enough for his brain to catch up, he knows he could never let her find another. He had to have her himself. But when he finds out just where it is that her new job is, he knows he needs to do everything in his power to keep her safe.
Complete with betrayal of all kinds, hot and steamy sex, and a love that is bound to weather everything that stumbles in its’ way, this book will have you on the edge of your seat, with most likely, a tear or two, as the next sworn bachelor takes his fall. Awesome read that will leave you with the question of: who will be the next of the group to take the plunge?

Unwilling Executive
4.25 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Going in I didn’t have the best impression of Lucas but he won me over. This is very much ‘he’ll change for the right one’ vibes and it’s cute and sweet. I love Miranda’s writing and have such a soft spot for her books getting me into reading romance.

Unyielding Bachelor
3.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

He made a deal not be in a relationship or he’d lose the ability to see and support his sister, then he meets her and tries to break this. I don’t love that he is encouraging her to lie to all their friends about them. It’s nice and I like them as a couple but didn’t love the encouraged lying.

Undercover Playboy
4.45 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Okay I love Carter and Cassie. Also an undercover cop as an electrician so he has practical skills (and can leave the police force because…) this is so sweet and wholesome. Lovely read.

I mean.
Well.

Flat characterization--that's what ruins this lot. I know romance novels get a lot of flack for 'sexual escapism' from other genres, saying they're not 'real' books. But to be fair, this series is one of the reasons they get that flack.
The romance is stilted by attraction and that's it. The set is steamy and that's it. There is no real thought going on in the characters outside of their interaction together. They're not really in a specific time, dealing with specific items of layout--they're just all in a vacuum together.

That's why romance gets a bad rap. When authors who write romance do not create believable PEOPLE--you get books like this, and bad PR like that.

Try a different author, a different set.
Read a different book ladies and gentlemen.

Sweet and romance with some hot steamy scene

This is was first for this author I had read the first book in this set on its own and when I went to search for the other books I know I had to read the first 3 books.
This is a sweet and romance story In all 3 books along with what appears to be heartbreak but then making up.
It’s great that you see characters from all books in each one and a bet being made on who the next single man will be to fall in love when they are known bachelors

Disappointing, predictable and boring. The plots of 'boy and girl meet, crush on each other and take 240 pages to admit their love.'All the heroes and heroines were buff, terribly good looking and pretty. The storylines are simple and written for preteen and teens (minus the mandatory sex scenes of course). The books also requires an editor to correct simple grammar. I finished Book 1, started on Book 2 but gave up by page 20. Same old same old!!!! I am glad I got them free on Kindle. You could not pay me to read this stuff.

Predictable, yet entertaining

Great stories TERRIBLE editing. Words are missing. Wrong words are used. It was a bit distracting, but the story lines have twists a little intrigue and pg sex worth the read. Somewhat predictable. All of the books follow the same story arc. Man / woman attracted to each other but try to deny. Man has a secret that threatens to keep them apart. Mis communications, until the lightbulb comes on that it's love.

This is a ARC copy review. I loved reading these books, they were the first books I've read from Miranda P. Charles. I read them start to finish in a day, all three books were funny, with sweet moments and sexy scenes without being over the top. I loved how the characters all meshed together in each book and I hope to read the others soon. I hope someone reading this will read her books because they are so worth it.

I really enjoyed this series and would like to finish the rest of them. There is suspense as well as romance. I love the interaction of the characters and the group of friends are lots of fun. This is the first I've read of Miranda's novels, I received this set free. It definitely won't be the last, I like her style. I didn't give it 5 stars only because it was a bit steamy for me, but it's easy to skim over those parts. I definitely recommend this set.

one of the most beautiful romantic comedies with a lot of ahem ahem parts I've ever read. this series connects you to every other subsequent character and helps you form bonds with them. the guys are utterly delicious and the girls are brilliantly smart. the perfect combination for a perfectly organized series.

I'm so glad I picked up this box set! It was love at first sight for me. Miranda writes her stories set in Sydney, Australia. They revolve around a group of young wealthy friends and the confirmed bachelors in the group that fall one by one to the lure of love. What I adore about the series is that Miranda has added the spice of suspense in each of her stories - there is a mystery to solve in each one. Romantic suspense that's heavy on the romance. You will want to read them all!!

This is an extremely good box set. I had already read the first book previously, but I read it again, then read the other 2 books, which were new to me. You get a lot of good reading in this box set, 3 great books that all have a HEA ending. Good characters, good storylines. Yes, there are graphic sex scenes; and no, there isn't much violence at all in this set.

This series of books was just so good. I sat down and read all three right through. Each book has its own characters and they all have some great story lines and its not all just fluff. Each couple has its own set of problems and very serious problems that come with the jobs, etc. Was really glued to each story. Lots of passion and very very well written. Highly recommend.

Gahhhhhh. Well, I finished, and didn't DNF. I felt like maybe I was back in high school reading a Harlequin novel, and hey, if that's still your thing, then have at these. Nothing terribly wrong with the writing, just seemingly immature, boring dialogue and uninteresting characters. Guess I just require a bit more depth to my books in my advancing age! 😂

Charitable bet amongst friends leads to unexpected love...

This series is definitely one I recommend if you're into dramatic romance with twists and turns. Each book is it's own story, but the characters continue throughout the series so you keep getting updates on where you're favorites are heading.
Happy reading : )

UK grammar

As soon as I realized (realized in this series), everything takes place in Australia, and is most likely where the author is from, my brain was able to click over and enjoy the turns of phrase I was less familiar with, as well as adding an "accent" that increased my pleasure 100-fold. Excellent reads, and I love how each novel starts where the last ended.

Great stories!

I loved all 3 of these books. They ran well together keeping up with the same group of friends and family. The betting on the next one to find love is awesome with the money going to charity.

Great read

Loved these three stories - so full of back story and the excellent storylines themselves. All three couples have so much going for them and so much trying to get in the way. So looking forward to reading book 4 (A link to buy that was in this book).

I loved it

Books 1-3 were wonderfully written. They were romantic, exciting, funny and sexy. I really enjoyed reading them. They all were page turners. Once I started to read them, I did not want to stop.

Nice little set of romances with some explicit scenes in them.

The occasional misused\misspelled word in the first story distract a bit, but overall the stories are solid hot scene romances.
