Illigitimate is Luca Costello's story finding his way to love. It may have been lust at first sight, but good comes to those that wait, and when the mind is seduced, the heart soon follows. What brings them together may be forced deception, but its the choices you make that set the tone for the future.
There is no order to the Infidelity Universe series. The Infidelity Universe reaches far, while it has no direct ties to Infidelity, it ties in with some key characters in the story. Building onto a world that I have already come to love.

Wow! What a sexy, suspenseful mafia story. Luca first appeared in Aleatha's Romig's Infidelity series. In Lulu Astor's novella, she takes him on an adventure that changes his life. I loved every page of this romantic tale--the seduction, intrigue, and beautiful writing. This book has it all. I can't wait to read more from this author.

Lulu Astor's "Illegitimate" gave us a fantastic, thrill a minute mob romance and this time it was the turn of Nox's cousin Luca to get his story told. This had all the elements we've grown to know and love from a mafia story. From that feeling of impending danger and doom that was a constant, to the double crossings, lies, betrayal and deceit, oh and not forgetting the swoon worthy romance, this really was an addictive read.
Despite being a novella, this book did span a few weeks but not once did I feel the book was rushed or the romance element forced. In fact what developed between luca and Gabrielle was beautiful and kinda hot.
Luca's character was one I rooted for throughout this book. I loved the way each of his chapters started and because of that, I really wanted him to get the girl. Of course I already knew that there was going to be all kinds of turbulence ahead but I didn't care. Gabrielle was a perfect match for Luca. She was his equal and these two belonged together.
I absolutely loved the way "Illegitimate" ended. It was just perfect and left me feeling completely satisfied with all of the turn of events. This one gets ❤️❤️❤️❤️.5

I throughly loved Luca's story. During the beginning we get a glimpse into the match between he and Lennox. The damage these two inflicted on each other made me flinch. But this shows how tough these two men are and what made them into the strong men we love to read about.
Gabriella is a lawyer and the daughter of a member of congress. A woman on the other side of the law. But after meeting Luca she cannot stop thinking about him. Even though she is engaged to another. But after finding out her fiancé is a sick twisted man she finds herself back in Luca's world.
These two definitely have the chemistry and wow do they make steam come off the page. Soon Luca finds himself having thoughts and feelings he felt he was incapable having. Gabriella has to determine on which side of the law she wants to be.

I just loved The Infidelity Series and I have to admit Luca Costello was a character that piqued my interest so when I saw this novella with his own story I couldn't wait to read it!! I so would love a full length novel of just Luca!! There is just something about a sexy alpha Italian with alleged mob ties that I just love! It's seriously my weakness!! I just LOVE mob stories!! and Illegitimate just hit all the sweet spots!
Luca Costello is next in line for to be the head of the Costello Crime family. Only problem is he's trying to run legitimate business. His father is insistent on grooming him for the family business but Luca has other ideas. He wants to make a name for himself without the mob ties. He's a ladies man with the hottest women in New York vying for his attention. He's sexy and suave, he doesn't have to work to get a women.
Gabriella is unlike most women. She's helping out her family in the bakery while she's waiting to start her job as an Attorney. When Luca comes into the bakery to pick up an order, she is immediately taken back on how handsome he is. She has a boyfriend so she's not looking for a relationship but there is just something about him that takes her breath away. The feeling is mutual and Luca is captivated by Gabriella.
Since Gabriella will be moving to New York for work Luca invites her to look at some properties. The more time he spends with her the more he wants her. She also feels the draw to Luca. She knows what a dangerous man he is and she should stay far away. When her life starts falling apart, she is forced into doing things she doesn't want to do. A trap is set for Luca and she must pick sides. Will Gabriella follow her heart or do what she knows is right??? Illegitimate is a thrilling ride that I thoroughly enjoyed! Even if you have not read the Infidelity Series this is one to pick up!! You will not be disappointed! Solid 4 stars!!

This book is part of Infidelity world which was written by Aleatha Romig. As a part of Infidelity world other authors are allowed to write in this world, so Lulu wrote story about Luca Costello. Luca is Lennox Demetri cousin and married to Gabriella (we learn about them little bit in the original Infidelity series).
Illegitimate happens little before Infidelity starts and tells us about how Luca and Gabriella met and fell in love with each other. It is really sweet and well written short story. It also gives us a little more glimpse into Luca's life and his fathers influence.
I enjoy reading it a lot. I definitely recommend it if you want something quick, easy and fun to read.

Illegitimate by Lulu Astor is a story in the Infidelity world following the Infidelity series written by Aleatha Romig. Luca and Gabriella's story was so beautifully written, Lulu really has a way with words. I was drawn in to this book from the very first page and I couldn't put it down until I was finished. Looking into the world of the Mafia is great but seeing the heir trying to legitimize the business is even better. I felt close to these characters and I felt like a fly on the wall to their relationship. I am so glad I got to read this book. Thank you!

Loved! Lulu Astor made me fall in love with Luca Costello. This wonderful addition to Aleatha Romig's Infidelity World focuses on Luca and Gabriella. In a twist Gabriella has an opportunity to follow her heart or follow the law. You'll have to read to learn what happens but let me tell you it is HOT, HOT, HOT!!! A must read for sure!!!

I love the mob side of Infidelity and I'm so glad the Author went this way. Luca, hot mob boss, doesn't think he's capable of love but, an unlikely pairing with an attorney makes him rethink everything he thought he knew about it.
Can Bree look past Lucas way of life and truly be happy? She's already been burned by a man she thought she loved. Will she risk her heart again?

Dive back into Infidelity, and learn more about Luca and how against his heart and mind, he finds he can fall in love, but is the choice safe? A fast paced addition to the series that left me disappointed at the end, not because of the story, but because I wanted it to be longer

Mafia genre novels are some of my favorites since the possibilities can be quite endless depending on the author's imagination and Lulu Astor took it by introducing me to Luca and Gabriella. Heir to the New York Costello crime family, Luca is used to having and taking whatever it is he wants and desires, bring him face to face with defense attorney Gabriella. Her family ties brings her closer to Luca than either could have thought and their chemistry through the roof.
Once more, i wish i had started with the original series since i would have known who these two individuals are and have some sort of link with their story. As it stands, i sill enjoyed the story and i'm more than a little curious to find out what happens to this couple in the future.

Thinking he is incapable of love things suddenly change for Luca when he meets Gabriella Buchanan, an attorney moving to NYC from Chicago.
I don't want to add too many spoilers, with the FBI involved and giving Gabriella ultimatums this is a thrilling story.

I love a redeemable bad boy. I want to say, I felt the climax between Gabriella and Luca, her secret being revealed, was quick, and I got slight whiplash. I had to reread and make sure I didn't miss something. Outside of that one small part, this was a fantastic addition to the Infidelity world! Seeing characters from the original authors books, getting their own story, was fantastic. This author did it justice, with a well written plot and sustainable romance that left me wanting more! In fact, it left me wanting to look up other titles by this new to me author! Which is a great plus of Kindle Worlds! Revisiting a series you love, and finding new authors!

Meeting Luca that day at her uncle's bakery in Brooklyn, Bree had no idea how much her life would change. She was from the midwest, her father a senator. Luca lived in New York his whole life and heir apparent to the mafia empire. They were complete opposites but when they were together it was hot, hot, hot! Loved the novella! Loved the characters. Luca is a strong character but also has a soft side to him. Very good and captivating read.

The story of Luca. He is a cousin to Nox. A great depiction into the Demitri side of the story of the Infidelity world. Nox has been my favorite character, but I must say, Luca is right at the top too. The Infidelity World is not a world you wish to miss. Trust me. Read all these stories!

Luca Costello has been raised to be the next head of the "crime family" which is currently run by his father, Vincent. Luca doesn't believe in women for more than one night but there is something about Gabriella that makes him break all of his rules.
When something happens that turns Gabriella's life upside down will she let the circumstances dictate what is going to happen to her or will she reach out to those who can help her and not be forced to lose the trust of someone she cares about?
This was a great novella packed full of action from beginning to end!
I liked Gabriella and the siutation she found herself in. She was innocent and wanted to do what was right but at the same time knew what was happening was wrong. Her attraction to Luca was extremely high yet she wouldn't cross a line as she was engaged. Yet she was wiulling to have a friendship with him, even knowing he was part of a dangerous crowd.
I loved that Luca was so torn with Gabriella at the beginning as he really couldn't get enough of her which he had never been through before. He was super helpful with finding her a place to live and was there for her. I felt super bad when he truly felt deceived but he never gave her a chance to tell the whole story!
Loved the ending!!

Captivated me
