This book, an autobiographical account of growing union organization and class struggle on the West Coast American seaports in the 1930s and 1940s, is so well written and engaging that it certainly deserves a wide release. It reads like a novella, with fantastic dialogue and description that kept me interested beyond my initial interest in the subject matter. In fact, I would happily share this book with people who don't share its politics.
