The first three books in the Kat Dubois Chronicles bundled together!
Three years ago, the gods abandoned us. We've been alone ever since.
Kat Dubois is immortal, and she’s retired. She’s long since hung up her sword and left assassinating immortals to someone else...anyone else. She’s now a hard drinking, sass-flinging Seattle tattoo artist with the innate ability to read people’s fortunes using her charmed deck of tarot cards. Her days of bloodshed are over, and she has nothing but time--an eternity, in fact--to hide from her past.
Until someone from her past shows up on her doorstep with news that her beloved older brother and mentor, Dominic, has gone missing. Kat may be the only person with the right skills--and access to the right magic--to track him down. She must confront her past if she’s to have any chance of finding and saving her brother. She must fight her demons. She must embrace the power within her.
She must become the Ink Witch.
This collection includes nearly 200,000 words of kick-ass action, mystery, and 1: Ink Witch 2: Outcast 3: Underground

Lindsey is a bestselling Science Fiction and Fantasy author who lives her life with one foot in a book—so long as that book transports her to a magical world or bends the rules of science. Her novels, from Science Fiction Adventure to Time Travel Romance, always offer a hearty dose of unreality, along with plenty of history, mystery, adventure, and romance.
When she's not working on her next novel, Lindsey spends her time hanging out with her two little boys, working in her garden, or playing board games with her husband. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her family and their small pack of cats and dogs.
I didn't think it was possible to be any MORE impressed with this author but, boy, was I wrong! I'm officially a forever fan! I want write long reviews because it becomes far too easy to risk letting something slip and destroying the magic for the next reader so I'm just going to say that I truly LOVE reading books by this author and I highly recommend her writing to others! I can't wait to start the next Kat Dubois Chronicles omnibus so that's exactly what I'm going to do! Before I go, though, I'd like to point out that while I may have a decent amount of 4 star reviews...it's pretty darn rare for me to give 5 stars so THAT should tell you how much I loved reading this!
Kat reads in her Tarot that she must do something to save humanity from the plague. Nik and Heru tell her that changing all the victims to Nejeret will destroy the universe! But she has promised to save Garth’s mother. She is frantic! How is she to supposed to reconcile these conflicting points of view? Then the Visitor appears to her. Once again KS has come up with a fascinating storyline! I love the sexual tension between Nik and Kat! Sometimes you feel like shaking them! Looking forward to Soul Eater!
These books are very enjoyable, using Egyptian mythology and hinting at other worlds. The main character is believable, bolshy and normal, well as normal as gods can be! Written in such a way you can almost see some of the images. Very few pages full of sexual exploits, so don't expect much in that regard! Personally that suited me as I enjoy a good storyline more! The books don't let you see what's coming, nor leave you thinking you'll have to buy another book to get a resolution. They are addictive and you do end up wanting to know more about Kat.
Set in the world of Lex & Heru this series follows the phenomenal development of Late Dubois. The story line is impossible but compelling; the characters behavior consistent with the previous series. This is the second time I've read the series & like the first it was hard to put down & do normal things like sleeping or working. Excellent writing coupled with a fantastic imagination on the part of the author.
Fantastic box set of the first 3 books of the Kat Dubois series. Creative storyline and characters. Different interpretation of the Egyptian gods and demigods. Loads of action, drama with a love hate relationship, and all the feels you could want. I couldn't put it down and I had to get the rest of the series so I could see how it all ends up. Well written and thoroughly entertaining read.
I absolutely loved the ending. On top of another species like the nejerets living among the humans, the book throws a completely different world into the story! An awesome story! This book was so well thought out, and timelines, and hints throughout that is was incredible.
This series sucked me in from the beginning. I hear the first book on Audible, and then bought the first volume of the chronicles to read the next two. Awesome world building and urban fantasy. Kat is messy, and broken and snarky, and you really want her to win! So much going on and can't wait for the next one.
I mean…. OMG! The action and fast paced kept me going to where I was reading the set in a weekend..when I was to be sleeping!! When I did sleep, all I did was dream Kat’s world. Was good dreams!! :-) I really wish more books would come from the Echo and Kat (or pick another person and do a new additional series??) universe!!
This book is the 3rd in the Mat Dubois Chronicles but the 6th in the Netjerets World of Lindsey Sparks. The story and world Lindsey has created is mindblowingly amazing and wonderful. I suggest you read the books in order as the entire story will make more sense. I cannot recommend these books enough.
Even the best, wisest and oldest of beings can make mistakes. Follow the adventures of the god-like and humans of an alternate world as they wander through life on earth.
Great series. Great characters. Some things I had to reread because a lot of thought was put in to this series wow. But lots of action , creativity , and secrets popping out everywhere. Still more to learn!
Love the premise, grit and accessible lead player Kat. Tattoo artist/shop owner and total harass fumbling her way through expanding powers, emotional relationships and gods. Not something you deal with every day!
The story of Kat Dubois—which started in the Echo trilogy—comes to life in this bundle of her first three stories. These can be read alone, but reading Echo first will enhance the journey.
I loved this series. I’ve always been interested in Egyptian mythology and Lindsey Sparks took it to another level. Anyone who likes Egyptian mythology will enjoy reading this.
