The Haunting of Honeywell House

Rate this book
When self-professed skeptic Carol agrees to spend five nights at the allegedly haunted Honeywell House for a story, the last thing she expects is to become a believer in the paranormal. And yet during her stay, strange nighttime visions and inexplicable noises make Carol second-guess her categorical dismissal of ghost stories. The more Carol digs in, the more mysterious the happenings at Honeywell House become. She quickly finds herself wrapped up in the history of the house’s old inhabitants. Their story is, quite frankly, a forbidden love, a family reputation at stake, two wrongful imprisonments, and an impassioned murder are entwined together in the house’s storied past. Initially convinced that there is a logical explanation for everything, Carol soon finds herself considering the possibility that the most logical explanation for what she has seen and heard is supernatural activity. What she discovers as she searches for the truth will change her life—and that of the ghost of Honeywell House as well.

Pretty good!

A decent albeit short ghost story. If you don't like very scary horror then this is perfect. I prefer the scarier stuff myself.
