Four Determined Brothers ~ One Broken Town ~ A Mountain of Secrets
Book 1: The Beginning
The Steele brothers have a problem.
A big one.
In his own way, each is slowly dying inside.
Grif is jaded. Reid is unsettled. Britt is frustrated. Jonah is bored.
But what none of them realize is their loyalty to their hometown will force them to decide between the life they each thought they wanted and a love they can’t live without.
In The Beginning, the Steele brothers go all-in to save their small-town from bankruptcy, and readers will catch their first glimpse of Grif and Carlie Beth, Reid and Brynne, and Britt and Miranda. And let’s not forget the baby brother billionaire, Jonah, who has secrets of his own.
Book 2: Going HARD
Slick sports agent Griffin Steele is living the highlife in Los Angeles, far from the shadow of the North Carolina mountains where he grew up. But when his hometown falls on hard times and needs his help, Grif reluctantly agrees to commute between coasts. He never expects the lush scenery, in the form of pretty tomboy Carlie Beth Parrish, to be such a temptation.
After an impetuous one-night stand with Grif Steele fifteen years ago, hardworking blacksmith Carlie Beth has tried to make a living and raise her daughter in the hometown she loves. Then, too-sexy-for-his-Rolex Grif blows back into town like the perfect storm, making Carlie feel less like a thirty-something mom and more like an infatuated teenager.
When a stalker targets his hometown and Grif suspects Carlie Beth might be the next victim, he can't help but step in to protect her. But once he discovers the fourteen-year-old secret she's been keeping from him, will he embrace the truth or will he turn his back on Steele Ridge and Carlie Beth forever?
Book 3: Living FAST Green Beret Reid Steele needs a new career ASAP. After a knee injury permanently sidelines him from his dream job, Reid heads home to the mountains of Steele Ridge to regroup, but small-town life isn’t cutting it for a man accustomed to action. When sexy boutique owner Brynne Whitfield captures his attention, Reid thinks he’s found the perfect distraction from boredom.
The last thing recently-dumped Brynne is interested in is another fast-talking man who will break her heart and dismiss her like yesterday’s trash. Even if Reid Steele’s body does make her yearn for things she knows are as bad for her as hot fudge sundaes.
When Brynne’s closest friend is murdered and she’s also targeted, Reid can’t resist the lure of action and goes on a hunt for answers to disturbing questions. But can he protect her from a cold-blooded killer—and win her battered heart?
Book 4: Loving DEEP
Britt Steele is on a mission to protect endangered red wolves in the mountains of North Carolina. But when the wolves' territory is threatened, he clashes with the new landowner, a woman who's capturing his heart even as she plans to sell that precious land to the highest bidder.
Miranda Shepherd's quirky bar is her passion, but money's flowing out faster than she can pour a drink. An outsider's bid to purchase the land she's long called home will save her business. Only one man stands in Randi's way--a dangerously handsome and persuasive man who poses equally dangerous questions that rock her whole world.
An unscrupulous trophy hunter wants the game-rich property and he'll stop at nothing to get his hands on the wolves' haven and another trophy for his collection.

****THE BEGINNING**** A great peek into the Steele clan. It gives you a glimpse at all the siblings and how they all interact with each other. The setting is the perfect way to introduce the series.
****GOING HARD**** Wow. What a ride this first book in the sireies gives you.
Griffin Steele was roped into the City Manager position by his younger brother. Irritated that he has to spend more time in his home town and not in L.A. until he's given a shock of a lifetime.
Carlie Beth has her own life, and she likes it like that. When she runs into the man that gave her a a one night stand, and in unexpected surprise, she wants to run far away.
Yet it looks like someone is talking Carlie Beth. Is it Griffin, who brings some very unwelcome baggage, or is it one of the ranchers she's done repair welding for?
The answer shocked me.And the high tense situation at the end of the book kept me so focused, I didn't notice anything around me.
Love this book! I highly recommend it.
****LIVING FAST**** An excellent follow up in the Steele Ridge Series.
Reid Steele, a former Green Beret, has a hard time adjusting to civilian life. Until he finds himself deep into solving the mystery surrounding the shooting on Main Street.
All Brynne wants is to run her shop and work on her 5 year plan of avoiding men. No matter how thankful she is for his help in solving her friends murder, Reid isn't one to be avoided.
I loved the twists and turns that kept me immersed in the story.
****LOVING DEEP**** This is the 4th book in the Steele Ridge series, or the 3rd full length novel.
Britt returns home from a conference to find his mentor is dead and the land she vowed to will to him was not finalized. Randi never had a good relationship with her mother. Now she finds out that she was going to give someone else her heritage?
While I thought the story was a bit slow in unfolding, it sure packs a punch at the end. Ms. Devlyn writes a very intriguing tale of the plight of the newly discovered Red Wolves. Aside from the few times I wanted to yell at Britt because he was acting too much like is Tarzan nickname, I liked seeing how he worked himself around to ask for his brothers help. I felt a lot of empathy for Randi and her plight with the decisions she had to make and having only partial information.
Once things got rolling, I had a hard time putting the book down.
Wow… Steele Ridge is such an amazing series. I love the characters, the plot lines and the cohesiveness of how each book is written and flows together. I was worried when I first started the series that with different authors doing different books they wouldn’t flow together and that the characters might be portrayed differently but this series does not have that problem at all. The characters are the same throughout the series as is the plot, scenery etc. The authors did a freaking fantastic job and I feel just so amazing being able to read such a brilliant series. Every single book was worth 4 & 5 stars to me although not going to lie Micki intrigued me from the start and is my favourite character to date! If you’re looking for a kickass series with protective men and such strong women with great plots this is the series for you!!
I absolutely loved this series! Although there are multiple writers, each story blends seamlessly. I enjoyed the the brotherly rough housing although two of them are more "refined". Nothing trumps family.
I enjoyed the series. The suspenseful plots were a little thin, but I very much enjoyed the relationships between the family members. They made me laugh and also cry.
