From USA Today bestselling author Jillian Dodd comes the eleventh book in the addictive Keatyn Chronicles series. Discover a breathless fairy-tale romance with swoon-worthy characters set in a glittering celebrity world. Fans of reality TV will devour this pulse-pounding, sexy Hollywood drama.

Follow the lives and loves of those who work at Captive

Riley Johnson — Captive Films’ CEO and millionaire playboy is hot, privileged, and seriously single. He’s got it all—a brand new jet, exotic cars, a luxury penthouse, and a different aspiring actress (or two) in his bed every night. His life is perfect until the only girl he ever loved walks back into it, causing him to wonder if he truly has it all.

Keatyn Douglas — Hollywood’s sweetheart and owner of Captive Films leads a chaotic, glamorous life. But running a successful film studio, writing scripts, and her own acting career leave little time for the things she dreams of, like marrying the man she loves and having babies. When drama starts at work, she may decide to give it all up for life out of the fast lane.

Dawson Johnson — The dark and dreamy marketing consultant joins Captive to escape his past. For the last two years, his sole focus has been on caring for his adorable daughters after tragedy struck their lives. He comes to Captive looking for a fresh start and, if all goes well, he might find a lot more than that in Hollywood.

Knox Daniels — Considered the sexiest man alive by a certain magazine, the sentiment is echoed by the actor’s adoring fans. While romance abounds in the roles he plays, he’s convinced he’ll never find his own happily ever after—until he meets a woman who just might change that.

Shelby Benson — The beautiful cocktail waitress and wanna-be actress struggles to make ends meet. A chance encounter with Riley Johnson is her lucky break and the golden ticket to everything she’s ever dreamed of—fame, power, money, sex, and love.

Written soap-opera style with multiple points of view, you can expect lots of drama, sex, and tabloid-worthy events.

“Everyone falls in love at different times in their lives. And when you’re in it, you think you know what it’s like to be in love. Until you meet your true love and then you know the other love wasn’t the same thing.”

Sex is the 11th book in The Keatyn Chronicles. The KC series is one of my all time favorites, and I love seeing all the characters I love getting older, and seeing where they are in a different stage of their life. Sex focuses mainly on four couples…

Keatyn & Aiden
Boots and Moon Boy. I love this couple so much. I enjoy watching them grow together and seeing where life is taking them. I will never tire of reading of the two of them.

Vanessa & Dawson
Vanessa and Dawson have been two consistently great characters in these later books. I love them both and I’m excited for whats going on with them! I want so much for these two. Both have been through a lot and deserve all the happiness in the world with each other.

Knox & Katie

I’ve got to say, Foxy Knoxy and Katie totally stole the show in this installment. I don’t want to talk much about what happens between them, but it is epic! Reading about them left a huge smile on my face!!!

Ariela & Riley & Shelby
OMG I don’t know what has gotten into my boy, but his story has been stressful AF to me. I legit love Riley so much, but I’m not a fan of what's been going on with him. I hope that changes for me in the next book and he gets a little more sense, but I’m not holding my breath ;) I did like the development at the end with Shelby and I hope that changes their direction.

Love is the next and final book of this series. I’m equal parts excited and sad for it to come. I’ve been through a lot with these characters and I’m sad to see their story end, but excited to see where life takes them! I recommend Sex to ALL fans of the KC series! You won’t be disappointed!

This is a fast paced read with weddings, babies, a nasty villain, insta love and lots of swoony moments. There is a lot going on so I am going to break it all down for you...

Firstly Aiden & Keatyn - seriously will we ever get enough of these two! This book begins at their wedding and we also go along for the ride on their honeymoon. If you read the previous book you will know that there are big changes coming for them and Keatyn is going to be slowing things down a bit soon which has given Aiden the chance to pursue some of his dreams. He has been there for his wife in so many ways so she is happy to be able to do the same for him. I also love how much they care about their friends and nothing is ever a problem when it comes to helping them out. They are very generous and giving people.

Okay, the part I was impatiently waiting to read about - Riley/Ariela/Shelby - Ohmigawd!! I got so mad reading about them! Shelby is a conniving, nasty piece of work and I just wish that Riley could see just how much she is manipulating him! Riley is feeling completely conflicted over his feelings for both of these girls and the desire to do right by Shelby is clouding everything he does right now. Ariela is still in love with Riley but very wary of what is happening for him with Shelby so it's all a bit of a big mind fuck really.

Dawson & Vanessa are still making plans to move forward with their lives together and I just love how happy they make each other. Everything seems to be falling into place and they are excited about what the future holds for them and his daughters. Then a huge issue completely throws them, one that could potentially take away their happy ever after. After everything that has happened in their lives, you would think the universe would give them a break right?

Okay who did I miss..... Knox Daniels of course :-) Well, he has quite the starring role in this book and let me tell you, I did not see it coming. It was like he was staring in his own movie but it was happening in real life. You thought you knew Knox right? Think again. He completely took me by surprise and I loved every minute of it!

This was one heck of a ride and I loved the excitement and thrill of being back with these characters. Right from the first page I was sucked back in and was so caught up in all the individual stories that when it was over I was left wanting more!

Sex (The Keatyn Chronicles #11) by Jillian Dodd
4 stars!!!

“…may all your ups and downs be between the sheets.”

This series has been a staple of mine since 2012. I cannot believe that I have spent nearly five years reading about these group of friends and still it never gets old, even though now they are adults. Their time at school was entertaining enough but now they are adults and are all super rich, the entertainment just gets better and better and Sex was no different.

Sex continues from where Money left off and with so many couples to keep you entertained this book was anything but dull. I will say that this book contained THE BEST EVER marriage proposal, but which one of our lucky couples are tying the knot?

Keatyn and Aiden are now married and their lives have taken a different turn. Keatyn has had her time in the spotlight and now it is Aiden’s turn to chase his dreams while Keatyn whole-heartedly supports him. Their relationship is one that has a solid foundation, they have been together for eleven years and are still going strong. These two have a love for one and other that others can only dream about and I cannot wait to read more about these two in Love. Moonboy and Boots forever!

Riley, Shelby and Ariela are just one clusterfuck of epic proportions. I have always loved Riley but his attitude in this book still stinks, baby mama drama and Ariela coming back have left this playboy well and truly perplexed and his actions and what comes out of his mouth leave a lot to be desired. I wanted so badly to punch him in this book, this man just has the power to infuriate me, but I am hoping that the truth is revealed and hopefully Riley can see what is really in front of him, grow up and take stock of his life.

Dawson and Vanessa both have a past that continues to haunt them and yet together it seems to be working. Life though has a habit of testing you with speed bumps and curve balls and it seems life isn’t yet ready to give them the smooth sailing that they deserve. These two make a fantastic couple and I cannot wait to see what life has in store for these two.

Knox & Katie stole the show for me in Sex, these two together are like dynamite. Whenever these two appeared on the page I was either laughing, swooning, or perched on the edge of my seat like a loon or jumping up and down. These two are infectious and their relationship on the pages is stuff that fairy-tales are made from. These two are going to be a tour de force going forward and I cannot wait to see what life has in store for these two.

Jillian Dodd, as ever, has continued to bring these characters to life, characters that have wheedled their way into my heart from the first time I met them. This series has been a life journey for these characters and I feel like I have witnessed their growth in the flesh and feel like a proud mama as each and every one of them slowly gets their happy ever after. This is one of those series that I never want to end and I hope that Jillian Dodd continues to write them till they are old and grey…or even the next generation.

I am a Keatyn Chronicles fan. Have read them all and all of the shoot offs of this series. I love Keatyn and Aiden and all there crazy friends and the crazy stuff they get themselves into. I am a fan of the changing POVs in this series and there are so many active characters it would almost be impossible to keep straight if Jillian hadn't written it that way.

Sex pretty much covers the spectrum of situations. Weddings, babies, baby mama drama, exes stirring up trouble, insta love, second chance romance....

Riley the confirmed bachelor since Ariela left him in high school has quite the drama in his life in Sex. I kept thinking that a certain thing was going to resolve itself and it didn't. I am hopeful that it will in Love. Riley frustrated me a bit in this one as I want him to do something he didn't do.

It was fun to spend time with all the gang and see new relationships develop and read about what they have been up to since I last got to visit with them.

Jillian has such a realistic way (I know, I know these characters are a bunch of rich kids who make it rich) of presenting her stories that I can not get enough. I have been a fan since the first book. Each character has their own situations they have had to deal with to reach the point they are at now. The early books obviously focus mainly on Keatyn but many of the characters have moved to the forefront as the series progressed.

Thanks for another great read Jillian! Could you shake Riley a bit for me?

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This series has a wonderfully unique and refreshing style which continues to draw me in!

I can’t believe how far we’ve travelled to date with these amazing characters and I still can’t get enough them. I adore the glimpses we have into the lives of the Keatyn Chronicles characters, especially now that they are now grown up.

As expected, we get to spend time with all of our favourite characters but more so with Knox and Katie as they start capturing their own journey. I have adored Knox for a while and whilst new-ish to the series, he has firmly placed himself as one of the most compelling protagonists in this series to date. Knox quite literally stole the rights to this book and in doing so made something quite special into something epic.

Despite my unapologetic attraction to Knox, Vanessa and Dawson are probably still my favourite grown-up couple, although I don’t include Keatyn and Aiden in that grouping just because you can’t top perfection!

Riley and Ariela need a swift kick up the backside in this instalment and don’t get me started on what I’d like to do to Shelby. I really hope she gets what she deserves, and soon.

For me, the success of this series is in its simplicity, although I’m sure keeping track of the characters and their storylines is far from easy, but for readers, you can sit back and just enjoy all that Keatyn et al have to offer to their fans and followers.

While this review isn’t designed to contain any spoilers it is written assuming you have read the first three books of the Hollywood Love series. If you haven’t, you may not want to continue.

Sex drops us right back where we left off with Riley, Ariela, Dawson, and Vanessa. We follow along to discover what has happened since we last seen them. We learn what has been happening with Shelby and her drama and we also get more from Keatyn and Aiden…can we ever have too much? They go together like wine and cheese on a perfect Fall day (or any day really, who am I kidding?)

I loved this book so much! I have been enjoying Jillian’s new books so much that I forgot just how much I missed “the gang” and their chemistry. There are points of this story where you laugh out loud and others where you just want to reach through the book and smack someone. The jury is out on which person you will want to smack though! From my conversations it seems that people have differing opinions!

As usual, Jillian pulled me in from the beginning and kept my interest through the whole book! This book will give you a high that will make you instantly want the next book! Oh Jillian.....

Frustrating story

I found the story very frustrating. Riley's mentality was just way off. He needed to think if Shelby wasn't with a baby did he want to be with her. The answer was no. He already had decided that but was thinking with his little head and being persuaded with bull. I found the whole issue ridiculous at best. Face it Riley was acting like he was still 20 and not a grown man. All he really wanted was sex. He needs to grow up at some point or not but to blame his crap on what happened when he was a senior in high school because she never gave him a note but told him in person. It takes 2 to have a relationship and he never bothered trying to contact her ever. The fact that they pulled "religious" reasons was a joke. She was separated. So being with her was one thing but if you are doing religious then no sex before marriage needs to be added and they didn't care about that do leave religion out of the story. It's a mute point. Use taking a vow perhaps but not religion because the same religion does not look good on premarital sex or being pregnant before you ate married. You can't pick and choose. I honestly felt that whole issue totally ridiculous. I thought the proposal for Knox and Katie was fantastic and way out there. It was hilarious. The fact that Shelby kept drinking while she was pregnant was another issue. Bam is a better fit at least he knows the truth and its not all based on lies.

Lol at the long lost highschool sweethearts that get back together despite the man is expecting a baby with a ex girlfriend, that’s not really an ex, and turns into a silly love affair.

The book is weird, cheesy and very catty.

I won’t lie, the only series from Jillian Dodd I have read up to now was the That Boy series, which I adored. Why I never went on to read anymore from her I do not know, but after reading The Hollywood Love series, I am rather angry with myself for not having read more from her. I literally received the four books of the series so far, via email (Fame, Power, Money and Love) and two days later, here I am writing my review. I could not put this series down. Totally addictive!
So I don’t really want to write too much to actually review what happens in the story for you as with the format of which the books are written, that would mean I am giving too much away and you need to experience this awesome-ness for yourselves.
So…..if you have read the Keatyn Chronicles series by Jillian, you will already know all of the characters in The Hollywood Love series as this series is them, but all as adults now. If you haven’t read the Keatyn Chronicles then like me 1) hang your head in shame. 2) Don’t worry as this series is standalone so it doesn’t confuse you. You easily catch on with the storylines and any references to the past are given in detail. And 3) I can guarantee, just like me, that after finishing this series you will want to read the Keatyn Chronicles series. Not to make sense of this series, but because you love the characters so much that you just want more of them. And their college lives sound so fun to!
So there isn’t really one main character, instead we have a whole bunch of main characters. Keatyn, Aiden, Riley, Ariela, Vanessa, Dawson, Knox and Dallas, with a few secondary characters thrown in there for you too. So we follow them as they carry on with their successful careers, as they grow up even more and want to start settling down, wanting to find their one, but with a whole lot of obstacles thrown in there, cause you know, otherwise, that would not make for entertaining reading. Whatever happens throughout these books, all of these characters (pretty much) remain loyal towards each other, they have each other’s backs, and would do anything for each other.
The books in this series do feature heavily within the film industry. Acting. Producing. Writing. Living with the stresses of trying to have a life whilst being in the public eye and constantly being under scrutiny with every little thing they do.
I love all of the characters, and even though the story is written from their many points of view, the individuality of each character still shines through. They are each entertaining in their own way and don’t tend to morph in to just one personality but with different names. They all have their own things, their own quirks, issues, lives. Riley is currently my least favourite character, I sometimes want to reach through the book and punch him in the nose during Sex (book #4), he even evoked some feelings of rage in me whilst reading. His behaviour sucks a little bit.
I haven’t read a multi person point of view book before, and being honest, I was a little worried that it would confuse me. That I wouldn’t know who was who and who I was reading about at the time and get the characters all mixed up, but I didn’t. I thoroughly enjoyed the many views and didn’t struggle to follow one bit. It kept me on the edge of my seat, eager to get back to each character and continue on with their story. I can’t even imagine how hard it must be to write a book, never mind a series, in this format. It must be so tricky, flicking from the mind-set of one character to the next. I would say Jillian Dodd is an immensely talented author to manage the transition to each of them so smoothly and still keep the storyline exciting. I would love to interview Jillian for the blog and ask her how she manages to do it.
I am so glad I had the four books there to be able to hit the next one straight away, but pre warning, Love ends on a cliff hanger. Straight away after getting to the end, I emailed Jillian and asked if there would be a long wait. I need book #5 RIGHT NOW!! Each book follows straight on from the position the one before ended, this is why I am not going into what the story is about. Each book is the continuation of the story and I don’t want to explain what is happening, when we are nearly hitting the end, just so I don’t spoil it for those that haven’t read this series…..YET  The series is written kind of like a diary. There is no chapter 1, 2, 3 etc. Each heading is a date, location and whose POV we will be reading from.
If I had to really pick a negative, I would say scenes of a sexual nature are kind of glossed over quite quickly, but this doesn’t feel like a loss whilst reading. It’s not really a serious negative as it didn’t bother me too much. There is so much more to the book, so the sexual scenes aren’t needed. This series brings it all. Fun, Romance, Flirting, Banter, Insecurity, Lies, Love triangles, Jealousy and Manipulation. There is probably a whole load more words to describe this book. Here’s some more…… Tragic, Dramatic, Surprising, Exciting.
It is quite a fast paced series, the writing is flawless, the series is fun and addictive and from what I can imagine for people living in the lime light, quite true to life.
Now pretty please, bring Love, Book #5, to my Kindle immediately!!

Sex by Jillian Dodd is the 8th installment in the original Captive Films series. I say installment because these books started as weekly serials for fans to catch up on the characters of the Keatyn Chronicles . At some point, the serials were bundled into books for each season and now the first three seasons are bundled in a box set called the Hollywood Love Series .

My introduction to the world of Hollywood Love and the Keatyn crew started with Sex . I could tell right away that I couldn’t start at this book and purchased the bundle to learn some of the backgrounds. My review is going to incorporate the first three books because it is the only way it makes sense to me.

What I Like:

I like the addictive appeal of the book. It is interesting to me that the story kept pulling me in even though I can’t say I like the characters that much. The story reminds me of the closed world of the old soap operas. Even though it is set in a big city, it has a small-town feel. Everyone knows everyone else. Everyone’s life is linked in some way to the other characters.

As much as I wanted to put the book down and move on it kept calling me in the habitual way that the old afternoon half-hour shows pulled me in. The story moves quickly, but nothing is accomplished in those thirty minutes for several weeks or even months but there are teases in each episode.

By the end of season one, the characters are familiar enough to care about them even if you didn’t read the Keatyn series. The characters are all wealthy and live the high-life, and sometimes make bad decisions. There is the constant introduction of lovers, betrayal, hurting the ones you want to love, and so on and so on.

The individual episodes feature a character but most of the other main characters make an appearance. There is plenty of action throughout all four books. There are hook-ups, weddings, children, misunderstandings, cheating, etc.—everything you would expect on a soap. Also, there is someone making a decision that will come back and bite someone in the ass keeping him/her from the one she really wants.

I’m sure I’m giving the wrong impression because some of the characters are entertaining and people I can root for, while others are shallow and spineless. I think the biggest disappointment for me is Riley. I don’t get him. I guess he is a sexaholic and blames his shallow behavior on a past love gone wrong even though she knows she made a mistake and tries to make amends. Not good enough for lover-boy though. He is involved in a triangle and made me angry, and like a soap, the reader knows one leg of the triangle is trash, but he doesn’t see it and will hurt the one who really loves him.

What I don’t like:

Like a soap opera, there is always the character that happens on a scene to see or overhear something and misunderstand, runs off without asking questions, and makes bad decisions. The misunderstanding makes matters worse and makes this reader pissed off. Trust me when I say I know people like Riley who are taken in and led around by the big D by a conniving bitch and then ends up hurting the person who really loves him. I wish I could say he was an exaggeration or caricature.

I am grateful that I’m coming late in these serials. I never would make it through all the cliffhangers and Sex ends with another cliffhanger. I think after forty-five or fifty years of age end of life is within sight. A cliffhanger means there is a potential that my end will come before the series ends. I don’t like them and don’t start them until I can read the ending.

A couple years ago, I waited so long for the final book in a series, I made my kids promise if anything happened to me they would sit by my grave and read me the last book. You laugh, but I’m serious. I binge read and binge watch TV so I can get the ending—cliffhangers are for the young.

What's Next:

The next book Love is scheduled to release later this year. I don’t know if this will be the end or another cliffhanger. I do hope that Ariela grows a pair and says I made the right decision when I left you, Riley, the first time around.

I want her to find someone who loves only her and wants only her. She’s had enough men who want multiple sex partners and can’t commit. Riley, you go enjoy your sluts, don’t ever forgive me, and live in the muck that you make. Oh, by the way, Riley, you decided to throw your happiness away for a baby that isn’t yours.

Jillian Dodd is a good writer. She held me captive. She even has me thinking about taking a chance on another potential cliffhanger (if I’m still around) so I can find out what happens next. What can I say--like the afternoon soap, you can come back when you're home sick or on a staycation and pick up right where you left off.

It's always so easy to get sucked back into the lives of Keatyn, Riley, Dallas and all the other Eastbrook alum. This series, written like a TV show should actually be brought to live as a TV series because it's truly fantastic, night time soap material. If I'm going to complain about anything it's that these installments never feel long enough and leave me always wishing for more story, but then again it does keep me coming back, eager for the next release and I'm sure that's the point.

So what's new...I'm even more frustrated with Riley, desperately wanting him to actually grow up and think with his heart and not his well...fill in the blank. Right now his character is sort of self centered and honestly it's not a good look for him. I enjoyed the Katie and Knox storyline, even if it was completely over the top, but even I can admit that proposal was spectacular! And Dawson and Vanessa, let me just say they are becoming truly one of my favorites, I'm loving their "scenes" and the direction their storyline is taking is simply perfect, I couldn't be more excited these two are finally getting on the same page!

What I'm looking forward to is Riley eventually finding out the truth about Shelby and hopefully Ariela finding more of herself. I feel like with this book we see her just starting to realize she needs to find herself, to make decisions based on what she wants and not just what she thinks is going to make a man happy. Don't get me wrong I want her and Riley to end up together but I don't want it to be because she is desperate to have him and would be willing to overlook everything just to be with him, and I feel like she is realizing the same. She doesn't owe Riley anything, since the moment she showed back up into his life she's been very truthful and now it's time to go after her own dreams and find a man who is going to love her flaws and all. Fingers crossed that HEA will eventually be with Riley.

Like I said earlier I wish this book hadn't ended because I wasn't ready to leave these characters or their drama, I've said it before and I'll say it again - guilty pleasure! If you haven't read any of these books you're missing out and should give this Jillian Dodd series a chance. These characters are so easy to love and it doesn't take any time to get sucked into their storylines. It has and will always be one of my favorite escapes from reality!

Note: These are ALL cliffhangers. Gah!

And I don't think there's a way for me to remember at this point what happened in book 1 vs 2 vs 3, etc, so this will be a general review. Let me start off by saying that I didn't read The Keatyn Chronicles. There are *lots* of characters, and there's obviously some history there, but I didn't actually know what they were talking about had happened in another series. It's not too bad; the author does a decent job of bringing the reader up to date, but it's a little confusing at times. I started reading this series because the first one was free and the box set of 1-3 was cheap. And while this has been entertaining, it's like one big, long soap opera! And I've invested so much in it now that I'm going to have to see it through. Well played, Ms. Dodd! A lot of it seems over the top (I mean, come on... (seriously don't click the spoiler unless you've read through #5). But in a general sense, Aiden and Keatyn are just too cute. Aiden is kinda too perfect. What guy has no issues with his girlfriend always being in the tabloids with her constant co-star? Sure, I know he knows who she really spends her time with, but that's gotta get to a guy after a while, and Aiden just goes along with his perfect Keatyn life. :-) Still, it's super sweet. And I thought I liked Riley and Ariela, but I've decided he doesn't deserve her. Idiot. Too immature still. Yet I'm sure the author will turn that around a few times before this is all over. I just hope it doesn't spread out too much because honestly, I'm not sure my attention will even span to November when the next book is released. :-/

Riley Johnson has made a name for himself in the motion picture business. Along with his two best friends, Keatyn Douglas and Dallas McMahon, they’ve built a company that anyone would be proud of. Although Keatyn and Dallas have found their true loves, Riley has been busy playing the field and giving up on love since Ariella broke his heart at their high school graduation. When Ariela enters their lives again, Riley isn’t sure he can forgive her and this is their continuing story.

“…I want to share a quote with you that my dad shared with me when I got my first acting role. Eleanor Roosevelt once said that ‘The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.’ At the time, I thought it related to my achieving my dream of being an actor, but now I understand it so much better. You are my future, Katie, because you are the beauty of my dreams.”

Sex is the continuation of The Keatyn Chronicles. We have weddings, babies and more relationship drama. I loved Keatyn and Aiden's wedding and honeymoon. Everything about these two makes me smile. Their love has just grown from what they had in high school and he is her Moon Boy. Dallas is another of my happy places I like to visit in this story. He’s just as in love with RiAnne as he was when they first got together. Same with Knox. He's such a go-getter! I couldn’t believe where fate takes him. Dawson and Vanessa...things can't always be smooth but still adore these two together. That brings me to Riley. That man is not doing much to get off my naughty list. I just can't relate to him at all. You say you still have feelings but are afraid of being hurt. You rush into this new predicament. Sigh. He makes my heart hurt. Of all of the characters from the Keatyn books, I just don’t understand how he could be so indecisive besides his convoluted reasoning. I’m ready for Ariela to move on.

I would also recommend you check out Jillian’s other books. That Boy is a great read with hot football players. Vegas Love and the Love series has three brothers who will get your motor running. I always wind up smiling while reading and maybe throwing my kindle in angst.

I absolutely adored the style in which Sex was written. I didn't feel like I was reading a book. I felt like I was nestled back on my couch and watching TV and it was a gloriously guilty pleasure!

Now, SHHHHHHH... I have a secret to admit. I am kind of embarrassed... ashamed... and I am not sure that I should admit it! I haven't read the books before this! EEEP! Don't kill me! I'm not sure how it happened. And I definitely know how I am spending this weekend! SO I am going to be perfectly frank... the first few pages I felt a little lost and left out... like ya know when you start a new show and you are like WTH is going on! But then like with any good soap you are soon so swept away, and they fill you in that you soon forget ALL about that. They give you just enough backstory that you soon feel like you are old friends and you can easily follow along. Now, I am sure that if I had started at the beginning there would be more that I knew... but by the time I was at Chapter 2, I no longer gave two shits. I was lost in the story. All I wanted to do was keep flipping those pages.

I loved how there was so much going on. How we kept flipping to different points of views and different couples' stories — yet they all intertwined with each other. It takes a really talented storyteller to do this type of book RIGHT and Jillian Dodd NAILS it! I read this book from cover to cover and can't wait for more.

If you are a lover of TV, a lover of soaps.. then you REALLY need to give this series a go!

The Hollywood Love Series is a spin off of the great Keatyn Chronicles! I would give this series a 4 stars and highly recommend to others. The books are Fame, Power, Money, Sex and Love-- Love is not out yet but you will be longing for it come out just as much as I am now... I can't wait!

I honestly had no idea that this series would have all the characters from Keatyn Chronicles in it... I follow Jillian Dodd but I guess not close enough because if I did I would sooo have known about this, but honestly I have to say I was happy with this great surprise and little gem!

This series is set about 10 years after what happened in the Chronicles and boy oh boy was there some major twists and turns. So you will want to pick a weekend and hunker down and fall in love all over again with these characters, for some you may have already read the first three and are now getting to Sex.. oh what you will want to do to Riley at the end of this book!

I can't wait for Love to come out so I can see what happens next in this crazy circle of friends.. get to one clicking this awesome series!

Jillian Dodd writes my guilty pleasure when it comes to books. I usually don't enjoy books or series that keep going and going but I find myself always wanting more of The Keatyn Chronicles. I will be sad when Jillian decides it's time for all their stories to come to an end.

This is a fast paced read but don't let that fool you into believing it isn't jam packed with things going on. Jillian has a knack for writing different story lines all in one book but finding a way to keep their stories entwined so you never lose focus of what is going on. Sex is no different. We get to see all of our favorites once again and they never disappoint. Babies, weddings, love triangles. You name it, this book has it. You will never get bored while reading this book or any of them really.

Pick this one up. Well you know, after you have read the first 10 because they are all worth it. I promise. Jillian is the master at YA and NA and she never ceases to keep me from wanting the next book.

In this series, we follow the story of Riley and several other characters in an intricate plot of betrayal, love, seduction and power. Jillian Dodd writes in the form of a TV series and I remembered a lot, even the plot being different, from Gossip Girl and Melrose Place.

In another chapter of this saga, Riley is torn between love and desire and this is what made me a little annoyed with this character causing me to hope for a turnaround in his life, hoping for a new guy to appear In Ariela's life . I think he deserves to suffer a little, because things have come very easy in his life.

Along with Keatyn, Dawson, Vanessa, Knox, Dallas, Katie, Shelby, I followed the journey of this group in weddings, confusions and doubts.

The book is very well written and holds the reader a lot to keep up with what's ahead. For those who enjoy this story format, it's perfect.

Jillian did it again! She left me captivated and wanting more! I had the honor of reading Sex early and I was not disappointed. I absolutely love how the she does the episodes - as I was reading, I felt like I was watching the show. I could vividly picture everything that was going on to the way the characters dress. She has an amazing knack of being able to describe things so perfectly that you know exactly what is going on, how things look, everything! There is one part in the book between Katie and Knox (I do not want to give away any spoilers) that had me laughing so incredibly hard! This book had everything from wanting to reach inside the book and smack Riley to feeling for Vanessa and everything she has gone through to laughing so hard that you have tears running down your face to some sexy time. This is the 4th book of the Hollywood love series and I have to say, this one was by far my favorite so far. I would recommend this series to anyone. While the Hollywood love series can be read separately, I definitely would recommend reading The Keatyn Chronicles series first to know more of the characters backstory. I didn't want this to end - I saw THE END and I was like NOOOOOO. This series leaves you wanting more... ALL THE TIME!

I absolutely love this series and I love the concept of this series, it's a multi POV from all of the characters involved and l love the dramatic feel that this gives the story, it's like watching your favourite serial drama.

The story is multi faceted with lots happening, it a fast paced read that will definitely keep you on your toes as you continue to ride the rollercoaster lives of your favourite Keatyn Chronicles characters.

Jillian continues to bring the freshness to these characters that I have loved for a long time and keeps me interested in a reader to where their lives are taking them past high school and into adulthood.

Yet again, Jillian has captivated me with this book. After reading books 1-3 in one go, I couldn't wait to get my hands on book 4. The way the 3rd book ended, i thought I was going to throw my Kindle but I was lucky enough just to crack on with S8X!

These books are written so well and from so many different character POVs, I don't know how the hell Jillian is able to get into that many mind frames in one go. It's amazing. Each character is completely unique and never loses their flair.

S*x kicks straight off where it ended with that cliff hanger in Money and the book continues with the explosives throughout it!

While you get to fall in love a little bit more with each character, I would just like to point out that I hate Riley, like, I want to punch him (HARD). I think him and Shelby deserve each other. Having said that, I just love everything about Knox, Keatyn, Vanessa, Aiden, Dawson and so on.... so that kind of made up for it. I did find the gang a little judgmental at times, rather than waiting to find out the whole story or what had happened, they seemed to just jump to conclusions where Ariela was concerned. I think she needed them to be better friends, forgive and forget or leave her alone.

Again my heart pounded throughout this gripping book, my carpet is worn out because I just couldn't sit down!

Cannot wait for the next book. I'm addicted to this series.

This book!!
So many feels! I went through so many emotions reading this book. I love that Jillian is able to incorporate so many characters into one story. Each one brings on a whole new level of feelings. From sympathy, to anger, to love, to jealousy. It's all there nestled into the pages of this, or shall I say these epic love stories.
Riley...needs help! Seriously...not mental help, but emotional help. He's too lost to his emotions and needs to find his way out.
Love love seeing K&A!! They are just the best couple...but...
Now they have competition!! 2 more couples are competing against them being best couple right now!!
And that ending. I went back to turn the pages all over again because I could not believe it ended that way! Wonderful job!

I devoured this book in one sitting. I LOVE this series, hardcore love it. Its like a tv guilty pleasure drama show in the form of a book series. Each book flows so flawlessly. Jillian has a way words. I do not think I have ever read an author who has a style even close to hers. The reader is easily pulled into the story and won’t want out.

I’m pretty sure this was my favorite installment of the Hollywood Love Series (but I say that every time). I was holding my breath in the beginning and yelling at my Kindle at certain characters and their actions. BUT as some characters drove me crazy others made me fall even more in love. SOOOOO much happens in SEX, there are shocks (lots of them), there’s drama, and of course there’s SEX.

I’ve become so heavily involved in the characters stories and can’t wait to see what happens next. I need some LOVE.

I have found that with Dodd's books, because they read more like scripts, are hard to follow and stay connected to. Even though this was a shorter story, it took me way too long to read it.

But, it was pretty good. As a matter of fact, as I was nearing the end, I wanted to keep reading. I wanted to know what happens next...because despite the extremely slow start, Dodd gives is just enough to entice to keep reading and read the next one as well.

So, guess what? LOVE will be on my TBR because the story I want to know most about is the one I have a feeling will be covered in more detail in the next installment.

Sex (The Keatyn Chronicles, #11) was another great read by Jillian Dodd. Riley is dealing with his feelings for Arielle, while also dealing with Shelby’s pregnancy. Keatyn is pregnant and marrying Aiden, the man of her dreams. Dawson is trying to relocate his daughter’s while trying to start a relationship with Vanessa. Knox is falling for Katie and will do anything to show her how he feels. Shelby is trying to reel Riley in, even if her baby may not be his. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series.

I cannot stop reading this series!

All of the characters are grown up in these latest books and I’ve really enjoyed the ride they’ve taken me on! There have been some lol moments, heart hurting moments, not sure about taking a chance and in this one….Knox really takes his acting to a new level to prove what Katie means to him after such a short time. When you know, you know they’re the one!

Jillian Dodd has done it again! Her books always leave me wanting more, and this one wasn't any different. The ending with Shelby...I NEED THE NEXT BOOK NOW! as much as I love them though, I hope the next is the last (only because I hate cliffhangers) and I want Riley to get his head out of his ass. I kinda want Ariela to move on (or appear to) so Riley sees what he's truly missing. Knox was fun in this book, saw a different side of him.

Oh Foxy Knoxy!

Knox just became one of my favorites characters with this book. I love how his storyline has progressed from a sideline character to a main character. Riley on the other hand is getting on nerves since he can’t see the lies Shelby is telling him and he keeps hurting Ariela. I am starting to doubt Riley will get his HEA.
