Sinister… passion… freedom

Anson Steele, along with his two brothers and father, lives by one Help all in need. Even if it means saving those who walk among the most sinister criminals in the world. Known as The Black Stallions, their mission is simple – provide rescue and safety to the innocents drawn into the evil depths of the underground.

Natalia Alvarez has been sold to the leader of one of Argentinian’s largest drug cartels at an underground human auction. Having been purchased by the highest bidder, she is now nothing more than a possession of Juan Montez and hidden away deep within the walls of his South American compound.

Anson Steele has been on the hunt for Natalia since the day he first saw her at the auction and helplessly had to watch her while not being able to do a thing about it. But he has made it his life’s mission to find this woman and pull her out of the depths of hell – at whatever cost. She will be his save one way or another.

With the backdrop of the mission being the unforgiving jungles and the dangerous streets of Argentina, and escaping a foreign country near impossible, is Natalia doomed to be locked away forever?

While fighting against a powerful drug cartel and their ruthless leader, will Anson Steele be able to rescue Natalia before it is too late? Will they both be able to find refuge in The Black Stallion Ranch and put this awful nightmare behind them?

I have been writing stories as long as I can remember. I am an author with Blushing Books. I enjoy writing both contemporary erotica as well as historical books set in ages past. I love developing characters that are able to tell their own stories. My heroines are multi-faceted women who are strong, intelligent and capable in their own right but find a deep need to share their lives with those strong, sexy and dominant alpha males that capture their hearts. My heros recognize the gift of submission for the gift it is, loving and protecting the women that offer that gift. I enjoy sweet, romantic stories with just a taste of domestic discipline as well as one that explore the harsher D/S lifestyle. I also enjoy writing age-play stories set both in Victorian era where women didn't have a great deal of power in their lives as well as in today's present time where women still find their happiness is greatly enhanced in offering the gift of submission. My hope is that you settle back in your favorite chair and allow my books to entertain you and let you escape into another world.

I've thoroughly enjoyed The Black Stallion series but I personally think that ANSON was the best of the bunch. The plot and dialogue between the characters were fluid, entertaining, and cohesive. The authors found a perfect way to balance romance with the suspenseful elements of the plot and made them believable. The characters themselves were intriguing and had me rooting for their safety and union from the get-go. Anson gave me the badass Alpha-ness I expected, but he also gave me so much more than that. He had no problem exposing his soft side, allowing himself to be vulnerable with Natalia, and showing me his great big beautiful heart. Natalia herself was no slouch and proved to be a bit different from her heroine counterparts from the other books. She was just as fierce, loyal and loving, but she was also a fighter and someone who could be a valuable asset to the Steele's organization in the field because of her training.

I'm a bit unclear as to whether or not this would be the final book of the series. As each book was about a different brother and there were only three of them, I'm not sure who a fourth book would be about, however, there's enough of a story there to make it worthwhile. I know I'd read it if it ever came to pass ;)

The last installment in the trilogy kind of left me disappointed. Don’t get me wrong this book has its merits.
I have to say that I prefer the main characters in this book to the others in the previous books. Anson isn’t as hotheaded as Maddox or Stryder.
Anson is meticulous and is the clever one of the bunch. He plans it all out but he didn’t count on Natalia recognizing him and not wanting to go with him. Since he saw Natalia at the auction he can’t get her out of his head.
Anson is a strong alpha lead but knows that when he isn’t capable of doing something he concedes and lets Natalia take the lead. Refreshing I tell you.
Natalia Alvarez former Drug Cartel Princess lost her whole family in a massacre to the Montez Cartel. She planned to be at that auction to avenge her family but after six months. She willing went with Montez. But there is something holding her back.
Natalia is a sassy heroine with a backbone made of steel but she was also a tad boring. She showed some vulnerability but there was just too much time they spent alone in the jungle in Argentina. Yes, I know they get to know one another and all that jazz but nothing happens.
These two authors know how to write and they bring real emotions into the book and they harmonize well with one another. The story is captivating and has you in high anticipation of what is going to happen. But for some reason it just didn’t work for me. But that’s not to say that it won’t work for you.
If I would have to try and pinpoint it why it personally didn’t work for me then I would say that I found the plot of the drug cartel to be slightly weaker compared to what happened in books 1 & 2. But nevertheless, an enjoyable read with likeable characters and authors who know what they are doing.
An epilogue for all would have been the icing on the cake and that Anson did fulfill his “cheesy” dream of climbing Mount Everest as a homage to his parents.

Such a good close out to this trilogy!! I really enjoyed this book and appreciated that both Anson and Natalia were very strong characters. I liked that everything was pretty much wrapped up with the rest of the family although there were some lose ends that I would love to have maybe a check in with.

Anson in the third and last book in ‘the Black Stallion Trilogy’ by Maggie Ryan and Alta Hensley, and tells the story of the remaining brother, Anson. Given the two previous books in the series I had a few ideas about Anson, Natalia and their story, but the authors surprised me. I like it!
“Hold on, I swear I’m coming for you. Just stay strong a little bit longer,” Anson encouraged Natalia silently.”

The moment Anson sees Natalia on the slave auction in Russia he is sold. He knows he can’t rescue her that very moment, but he vows he will safe her when he can. Like his adopted brothers and father Anson is a guy who fights for what’s right, and who can’t stand the abuse of the innocent. When Anson finally can leave for Natalia’s rescue mission he’s in for a big surprise… Natalia doesn’t react how he thought she would have…
“As his inner eye traveled across roads, forded rivers, and climbed mountains, he knew that, while he didn’t know exactly how he planned to get Natalia out, he’d not leave unless she was by his side.”

Natalia lived a happy childhood in Argentina, until all ended in death and bloodshed. Natalia was devastated, but her promise to her grandmother kept her going for years; revenge. But revenge seems far away with her current situation; being sold as a slave to a notorious crime lord has weakened her body, but her mind is still working. When Anson comes for her rescue she doesn’t know what to make of him. Yes, he’s attractive, but he was also at her auction. Can she believe him or is he just another cruel man who preys on the weak?
“His eyes held hers, even as their bodies moved. Chest to chest, she could feel the beat of his heart. Body to body, she could feel his warmth. So close, so intimate, yet so very distant.”

Anson thinks of Natalia as his the moment he lays his eyes on her, and goes above and beyond to save her from her ‘owner’. As soon as Natalia realizes Anson is the good guy who won’t hurt her and save her, she allows herself to really look at him. Despite the messy situation they’re in, the couple can’t fight the attraction between them and have some sweet and sexy moments while traveling to safety.

Anson didn’t go as I thought it would go… More specifically; I thought Natalia would be a sweet damsel in distress, miserable and waiting to be rescued. Yes, she is miserable (who wouldn’t be when being the slave of a cruel man), but she is no weak woman at all. She knows what’s going on, and is very capable to do some serious damage herself. I like this feisty chick. Just as his brothers, Anson has a bit of a dominant side, but it’s kept to a minimum throughout the story. To be honest, I expected a bit more from him in this department…
“I promise that not a second will go by that you don’t know how very much I love you. You came for me, Anson… you saved me.” “No… mi amor, we saved each other.”

I’ve enjoyed reading Anson. I give the conclusion to ‘the Black Stallion Trilogy’ 4 stars.

I PLAN TO MAKE YOU MY TEXAS PRINCESS

A great series, and one that is best to be read in written order, with a great cast of characters. Strong, dominant men, who care about human injustice, want to rid the world of corruptions, and when it involves a damsel in distress, they will do whatever it takes to make that happen, no matter what part of the world it takes them to. If in the process, they fall in love, that makes it all the sweeter.

What a conclusion to this amazing series and for Anson to find the woman who has been haunting his dreams for the past six months. He made a promise to Zoya and to himself that he would not stop until the last of the victims of the sex slave auction was found and rescued.

There is so much more to Natalia Alvarez that sex slave or victim. She is a smart and cunning woman, is skilled, and she has an ulterior motive behind wanting to be purchased by Juan Montez at the auction in Russia. Wanting revenge and being able to carry it out are two different things. Now that she is his property will she ever get out alive?

Anson Steele is an adopted son of Drake Steele, but he didn’t come from an unhappy situation as Stryder. Instead, he had two world famous parents who both died doing what they loved and were heroes in the process. He has been raised along side of Maddox and Stryder, and this is a family that has a military background, are off the grid and have backing to help them in their worldly endeavors.

The plot will have many intense moments, life and death situations in the jungle and the city. How will Anson convince Natalia he is on a mission to rescue her from Montez when she realized he was also at the slave auction and even bid on her? The mission to rescue Natalia from Montez will take place in Argentina, and will deal with the corruption of drug cartels. It will also have flashbacks of the horrors Natalia witnessed as a child that claimed most of her relatives, and her grandmother’s dying words to her. “No more death. No more war. Peace, my Natalia. Find our family peace.” Before more lives are lost in the war against various cartels, will Anson be able to save Natalia and get her safely back to Texas and to Zoya? Anson has been obsessed with Natalia from the first time her saw her picture before the auction, can she be the one special person for him? “You’re carrying my heart.”

This is my first book by these authors and I think it was well-written and the story flowed well. Anson was a man who was drawn to a woman and felt that he needed to save her at all costs. He was determined to have her safely in his arms and would do anything to make that happen. I liked that the authors were able to build up the surroundings and give a clear picture of Argentina, its surrounding areas. I liked that they didn't sugar coat any of the story.

I liked that Anson wasn't afraid to let Natalia know how he felt about her. He was drawn to her and he told her exactly why without worry of how she would react to it. He was honest. I liked their banter. Once Natalia realized that he truly wanted to help her and wasn't just another sick man looking to take advantage of her, they were able to develop a really good chemistry.

Things I didn't like:
It took me a long time to actually get into the book. There was action and mystery, but none of it pulled me in until roughly 35-40%. With that, I wasn't able to connect with the characters. I didn't feel the emotion I should have felt from a woman who was "broken" or "defeated." Natalia commented several times that she'd failed her mission and with the mission she set for herself I felt that it should have been gut-wrenching, but that emotion didn't come across in the book. I also felt like the situation with Montez was predictable. They didn't make sure it was finished and I don't see that as something someone like Anson would have done (although getting out of there alive was key, there was plenty of opportunity to end it). I also feel like the cover model wasn't a match to Anson. The book described Anson with blonde hair, blue eyes and yet the cover depicts otherwise.

Overall, I liked the book and would read more from the author.

I give Anson: The Black Stallion Trilogy (Book 3) 5 stars for picking up where Stryder left off and, once again, getting me right back into their world. I've loved all these characters from the beginning and the addition of Natalia has just made it even more so. I enjoyed so much following them through their ups and downs, and I definitely loved the steaminess between them.

Alta Hensley and Maggie Ryan have another success on their hands. This suspenseful novel was the final instalment in this series and is a great read, full of mystery and a few surprises also.

Anson and Natalia had a brief encounter when he tried to purchase her at the auction six months ago. When she sees him again, she recognizes him and thinks he's just as sick as Montez. Can he convince her he's not at all like him?

Anson Steele along with his brothers and father are the Black Stallions and they help those in need. When Natalia was sold as a sex slave he tried to buy her but was not successful, so she ended up in the hands of Juan Montez. Anson has waited six months to be able to save her from this monster. But will he be able to?

Natalia Alvarez has been sold as a sex slave to the leader of a drug cartel, Juan Montez. Living on his compound, being brutally attacked for next to no reason, she is just a possession to him. Will she survive this?

Anson: The Black Stallion Trilogy (Book 3) is a suspense, romance/erotic novel filled with bad boys and the women who love them, as advertised. These Black Stallions are a force to be reckoned with.

I loved this whole series and look forward to them collaborating again.

I think I might have to say that Anson may very well be my favorite in this series. Don't get me wrong I have loved the other two in this series as well but there was something about Anson that just found its way into my favorites list. I just couldn't put this book down I was just so sucked into this book. The story line is the perfect combination of a romance book mixed with suspense and action that makes this book impossible to put down.

From the moment you read the other books you just knew that there were parts of Anson that made him someone that you knew you'd fall for. He is a complete alpha that can kick some major butt but there is a side of him, a sweet, soft side of him, that you just can't deny is enduring.

Natalia, talk about about a woman who isn't going to let something keep her down. She is such a fighter, but not only that so strong, fiery and passionate. She is also extremely loyal and someone that could be a great part to the Steele's. She's no shrinking violet and with her training she could really help them.

I highly recommend this book and this series. These books are some that you won't be able to put down and you will love the characters. Alta and Maggie did a great job with this series and I can't wait to read more from them both.

I have been anticipating Anson’s book most of all. It is the the third book in the Black Stallion Trilogy Series.

Anson determined to find and save the girl from the auction. He is on a mission to gather intelligence to be able to free her. Never did he imagine that she would refuse to be saved. Natalia and Anson are caught in the middle of a cartel war. Will the be able to survive or will they be caught in the crossfire?

Natalia’s family were killed when she was a young girl and she has made it her mission in life to seek revenge on the man who took everything from her. Will all the preparing she has done for it help her achieve her mission?

Anson is an insta-love romance filled with an alpha male and a very strong female character. It is full of suspense that keeps you on the edge. The chemistry between the two is steamy! I absolutely loved getting to see glimpses of the other characters in the series. If you haven't read Maddox and Stryder, you do not know what you are missing!!! Anson is a must read.

Anson by Alta Hensley and Maggie Ryan is the third installment in the Black Stallion Trilogy.
This book can be read as stand alone, but for better understanding you should read first Maddox and Stryder, book one and two in this series.

Meet old friends, enemies and new acquaintances .
Anson picks up where book two Stryder ends. The Steele brothers rescued Zoya from a slave auction in russia, but where not able to rescue her friend Natalia. Natalia was sold and transported to Argentina.
Will Anson be sucessful in the rescue of Natalia? And what about Poplov, the old arch enemy?
Can they reach Natalia in time? So many questions and only one way to find out.

I really liked this third installment, Anson and Natalia are a striking couple. I liked the characters and I liked the words.
4,5 Stars and Thank you Alta Hensley and Maggie Ryan.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the third book in the series and highly recommend reading in order.
Natalia is the daughter of drug Lord Bautisto Alvarez. When her entire family is gunned down by Juan Montez, she makes it her mission to make him pay. No matter how long it takes or what she must do to get close to him.
The Steele family has rescued all but one of the woman whom were sold as sex slaves. Anson has not been able to get Natalia out of his head since he lost bidding war to Montez. Who knows the hell she has had to pay but he will make sure she is safe and Montez suffers. Only once he tries to rescue her she quickly let's him know she is there on a mission of her own and doesn't need his help.
I have loved all the Steele brothers and hope one day we get Jennie's story.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. I have thoroughly enjoyed The Black Stallion Books. Anson was just as enjoyable and I strongly recommend this book. This book was slightly different that the first two because Anson thinks he is rescuing a girl that wants to be rescued. Unbeknown to him, Natalia, has her own agenda for being the captive of the drug lord, Juan Montez. She wants revenge for her family that were all murdered and taken from her when she was a young girl. So she puts up with Juan's disgusting attentions and is not at all happy to see Anson when he comes to rescue her. The book is full of adventure and excitement as Anson and Natalia try to escape Juan Montez with their lives. And Natalia still wants revenge. Great book. I loved it.

Anson is the third book in the Black Stallion Trilogy. Finally Anson goes to Argentina to rescue Natalya. Most of action the takes place in Argentina. Much to Anson’s surprise when he tries to rescue Natalya, she tells him to go away.

Luckily for Natalya Anson doesn’t give up. There is plenty of action as are on the run through Argentina. Natalya is very wary at first, but once on the run with Anson she realises his is one of the good guys.

A great finish to an action packed trilogy in and out of the bedroom. Once back on the ranch the woman are beginning to heal, and finally Natalya feels part of a family. I have to say I loved the batcave.

I have to start by saying I absolutely adored this series, every sexy, steamy, little bit of it. Whew, and what an ending this was! Anson was always the quieter of the three brothers, but not anymore. Natalia pulled him into her life unknowingly and that's when the adventure begins. Anson and Natalia together are electric and it leaps off the page at you; the writing and plot are as wonderful as you would expect from these two authors. I love action, adventure, mystery, danger, romance and some fireworks in books I read and this one hit all the marks for me. No synopsis or spoilers from me, just a kind word to suggest you don't want to miss this book! If you haven't read Maddox or Stryder, what are you waiting for? Take a chance and jump in the deep end, you'll be happy you did!

The authors are great story tellers and the in depth

Sex, passion and violence – all combine to make a good story. This is the third in the Black Stallion Trilogy, and follows the same pattern as the previous stories. It helps to have read them, so you understand the characters better – but it isn’t essential. Like the other two stories which precede it – Maddox and Stryder – you have an intelligent likable male character, Anson, trying to save a lovely and intelligent female character, Natalia, from a terrible situation. Their trials and tribulations make for a fast-moving and interesting story which I really enjoyed.

This is the third and final in the Black Stallion Trilogy. It is an action-adventure and romance. I loved getting to know Anson better and meeting the object of his obsession, Natalia. This book was well-written and a good read. I'd say this book has the sexy moments, but has the least D/s of the three and therefore probably would appeal to a larger romance reading audience, whereas, many of these authors' books are pretty heavy on DD and/or BDSM elements, this has very little. With the exception of the time when Natalia was in captivity (and I don't consider that BDSM- that is abuse) this book more has erotic elements that might be in a lot of racy romance books these days. Great book from wonderful authors! *I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

A great ending for the brothers Steele. You two brought this series together perfectly and I enjoyed each story. Each one told a different story of loss with a great love to fill the heart in the end. Soul mates found and family doesn't have to be by blood. The writing flows and keeps the reader wanting more.

Anson Steele will go to any lenghts to find Natalia, a woman he first saw at Vasily Poplov's sex slave auction in Russia. He can not get the woman out of his head and he will stop at nothing to make sure she is safe, even if he means heading to the jungle in Argentina.

Natalia Alvarez was bought by drug lord Juan Montez and is now his property. She hates when he has his hands on her but she knows it is only for a limited time.

When Anson tries to rescue Natalia she refuses to go, as she has no idea what he will do to her but soon she finds herself in more danger with Juan. When Anson is able to rescue Natalia will they be able to leave Argentine safely or will Juan come after them for his own revenge?

This is the last book in the series and I must say I am super disappointed as I want more!

I really liked Anson and I can only imagine how shocked he was when Natalia did not leave with him when he tried to rescue her! I was glad she finally came to her senses but it was not without some difficulties for sure!

I was completely shocked at Natalia's back story and I loved it! She was super tough and I completely understood why she needed her revenge!

I liked how this book was a little more unique with how Natalia and Anson had to escape from Argentina and how it brought them closer together. I also thought it was awesome how Anson had to figure out who would be coming for him and where to meet.

I was sad about Anson's parents and how they died but I must admit that I loved the uniqueness of the situation.

The end was great and it ended well but I still hope for more books!!

OMG OMG This series is my favorite for 2017 so far!!

5 STARS

The last book showed up and I was so excited to get to Anson's story and this duet of authors brought me everything I expected and more!!! First the writing once again is flawless, it is so smooth and flowing that it is a joy just to read the words. For the story itself it is my favorite I love The Black Stallion Ranch and the reason they are there. These men want to protect and love and every last one of them does.

OK, now for Anson this book, he is a quiet man sometimes over thinks everything but highly intelligent and he is up in arms for not being able to save Natalia in Moscow from the second book. He has now spent the last 6 months trying to formulate a plan to accomplish his mission which is to get Natalia to safety and be his. Life in the jungle of Argentina has been challenging for him but his opportunity arises to get her out but she is so not what he expects and their first encounter doesn't turn out like he wanted.

He has met his challenge Natalia, and she is so strong I could not help but fall in love with her. She has had a rough childhood losing all her loved ones and she is on a mission of revenge to get back at the man that destroyed her family. Anson shows up and she doesn't know who or what to trust.

Their adventure begins from the jungles of Argentina all the way back to Texas, this story is full of twists and turns, some extremely difficult topics, highly emotional with some humor and lots of sexy scenes and so much love!!

If you are looking for a different type of story with great characters, fabulous writing then this is the book for you and as I said earlier this is my favorite series so far and I highly recommend all 3 books.

The Black Stallion Trilogy closes with this third and final book, Anson.
Our heroes are back and this is Anson’s book. Anson is determined to save Natalia, a women he helplessly watched at one of the auctions before she was taken. Now, on a mission to save her, we get treated to a dangerous rescue mission in the country of Argentina. Danger, drugs, cartels and romance dominate this book.
This wasn’t my favorite of the series. While I liked it, it felt a bit forced and rushed to wrap up the trilogy. I didn’t connect to Anson like I did his brothers. But, despite that, the plot was great and the writing good, as always with this writing team!
Complete the trilogy with Anson!

Anson has arrived in Argentina to rescue Natalia from drug lord Montez. He outbid Anson Steele and instead they rescued Zoya that his brother Stryder ended up marrying and they are expecting a baby. Anson had to be creative in his attempts to rescue Natalia. He changed his identity and he ends up coming to the rescue of Natalia. I don't want to say anymore as it would give away the book plot and these 2 excellent writers have captured every emotion that makes you seem as you are there. Excellent read.
