About the author

I write paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and other stuff. I taught myself to read when I was four. That was around the time I tried to ride my tricycle to work. I wasn't sure where work was, but I knew it had to be interesting if people went there every day. Now I combine my love of books with work, and I don't have to ride my tricycle to get there. This is the follow up story of Luis and Claudia that we met in Natural Evil.
Claudia used to be human, but now she is enchanced thanks to the her blood that she offers to Carling as her attendant.
Luis is 15 years younger than Claudia and a Wyr. In his Wyr form, he is a big black rottweiler dog.

Now both Luis and Claudia are working for Carling and Rune and there are still deeply in love.

I am happy to see that they are still together. It is a nice short story, but it just shows a day of their lives. Nothing more. No extra information, nothing we didn't really know from the previous books.
But still it is free and it nice to have it!

I liked this because it answered a worry I had when I read Luis and Claudia's story, "Natural Evil".

This is where Claudia and Luis end up.
They are working for the private investigator agency owned by Rune and Carling in Florida.
Claudia has become Carling’s Vampyre attendant, she is stronger, faster and she has an extended life span, bonus because she excepted that Luis is her mate.
She also provides blood for Carling.. they are on a stakeout to find a bad guy.. and when he finally turns up Luis goes in to wrap him up, he enjoys his work!

Shorter than I like, but enjoyable. I always want to spend more time with characters I like so well.
