This book is cute, colorful, and educational, and I think that the metaphor comparing the Periodic Table to a crayon box is a creative way to help children grasp the concept. However, this book's ending was very abrupt, and it needed another page with some kind of conclusion.

I am a chemist myself so I appreciated the elements as crayons metaphor. I feel like this book is one of the best ones I've seen at making a complex subject such as chemistry more approachable for a 2-year-old.

Bought this for a friend's child because I saw it on the shelf and simply fell in love with it. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to actually enjoy the board books they read endlessly to their youngest friends/family members.

Helpful for all ages, actually! Where were books like this when I was a wee one?
