Short and very fast read. This starts after the event has happened for a short time and then reverts to just before the event and tells how this unfolds from the POV of three of the main characters. I like the writing style and I already really like the character of crusty old Mac. I look forward to the next book of the series.

Solar Storm

A fantastic first installment of the Solar Storm series. Fast paced and high stages of adrenaline pumping action adventure, that keeps you hooked til the final page. Excellent writing by author Marcus Richardson. A book and series that is fiction but could easily happen.

WhaaaWhooo this is a great beginning!

This is the first of five novellas, as I understand it. This first one sets up for what is to come! We meet main characters, get a feel for the story, and the level of suspense and action begin to climb.

I assume the rest will be as well written as this and this one is terrific! I don't plan to miss a single one -- on to number two . . .

Plenty of action and the characters are good. In this book a solar flare has fried the electric grid and in 3 days the world in turned to chaos. A father looks for his daughter and wife praying they are not dead. All he wants to do is find his daughter and then find his friends bug out hideaway. A good book about how the human race can descend into mob madness. It was a fun read.

After a coronal mass ejection, all hell breaks loose. Jay tries to get to his daughter in college while believing his wife has died in a plane crash. Humanities best and worst are on display when electricity and supply chains fail.

Few typos but pretty good. Would have been better starting with the leading up to impact rather than jumping back to it. Will be reading the next one.

This book really seemed to complete a chapter in all of the characters lives. I’m excited to read book 6 when it is released.
