This is one such book, which makes me fell in love with the adorable characters and loving portrayal of the characters of Sid and Nishi. The book is a Rom-Com and the story is an absolute classic.

It is a story of five friends who met in their graduation class. Radhika met Nishi and Sid in the college bus on her first day of college and soon they become friends. They met Manas and Sameer through Sid. The story revolves around five friends and their life in the college of four years.

Radhika is the miss dependable of the group and Nishi and Sid are the ones who create the chaos. Manas is a one-woman man and Sameer is a Casanova of the college and girls go mad on his looks. The story has classroom drama, college crush, and affairs, exam anxiety and assignment last date panic sequence. Everything in the story is interweaved carefully and runs on smooth pace. Wait! That is not all enough to know about the book. Don’t you want to know? Who is the cupid of whose story?

This is Prachi Gupta’s first book and her second book is due for release on 25th march, though a self-published book, it is already a national bestseller. Every character has given equal space in the story with complete sync. Few incidents are hilarious, especially the climax of the story. The writing style of the story is candid and targets the readers of college students. It is an ideal read for fun and merriment.

This book was so hard for me to follow. I’m unsure if it’s because I did it in audio or all the characters or the story, but I struggled with it. The flow was off, and I don’t think it was necessarily a bad book, but it wasn’t for me.

One of the very few college romance books I read , I liked how Author could blend everything related to college so smoothly . I dont usually read books of this sort, but I found myself relating with the protagonist as I continued reading.

We have Radhika, miss independent. Nishi and Sid , both desperate for love life. Sameer, a playboy and the common crush of almost every girl in the college.Manas, the clean-one-woman-man. I didn't expect them to end up the way they ended up. It gave the book a reality check and I loved the book more for it. The cupid was actually a surprise .

I did find some things silly and footling but the book being a debut, I must say author did a very good job and I loved her views on modern-love . Really , fairytale love is overrated.

Ayy for me the summit was Radhika's closing speech especially this part . I can understand and relate to this girl very much .

Man , only thing I was disappointed was Sam , where is he ? A very invisible cliffhanger there but I like suspense considering there is a sequel . I really want to hear Sam's side of story and I am sure Ms.Gupta will do a wonderful job .

This one is college hunk book. All about friends and love.
From the 5 main characters, one falls in the category of accidentally cupid and has a cupid's secret.
Story takes a new turn when emerges the main villain of the story.
This is a ROMANTIC COMEDY novel where each and every character speaks of its own. A light funny novel to read. Can be finished without much hussy. I like the Sid's character the most.
Also there are some funny incidents in the book which will going to make u laugh.
So it's the kind of story you"l definitely not miss.
I simply like the book.

I have fallen in love with the characters…!!
No words to describe… It is one of those stories for which you need not to struggle to understand what’s going on, everything move in front of your eyes. Each word describes the beauty of love.

Talking about the Authors, they have done a wonderful job. Their narrating style and usage of simple words in an attractive way is something that every reader would love to read.
Coming back to the story, It is not just an ordinary love story, but a true love story in an extraordinary way. Love is something that is interlinked with trust and care which the Authors have explained with this love story. For those who don’t believe in Love it is a must read.
Excellent work, would love to read many more from you.

The authors have done a great work with this being their debutant novel . Their writing style is good and the quotes used in his book are awesome, which is based on reality, like other established authors.
This is worth the bestseller tag. Waiting for the 2nd novel

Right From The Start… She Stole His Heart by Prachi Gupta and Sanchit Garg is a sweet, romantic story about a few students in college who become friends and how romance plays along in their lives. This book was sent to me by Fingerprint! Publishing for review and I would like to thank them for the same.

Okay then, let’s get down to a short summary before I give my thoughts on the book.

Summary

Radhika has just joined her engineering college and on her first day she meets two people, Nishi and Sid who become her closest pals. Radhika is a smart and serious student whereas Nishi is looking for the ‘right’ guy. Sid is the goofy one, making a beeline for every girl he lays eyes on. Together, they form new friends and have typical (and comical!) college experiences. Sam is the playboy of the college but when he proposes to Radhika, she cannot seem to rid him off that easily. What happens next forms the rest of the story.

What I Liked

Okay, so what I liked about the book was that it transports you back to your college days (if you’re way past that stage like me, that is!). It is always fun reading about that part of your life when you had the most fun in life and were most of the times, an idiot! Atleast I was! Sigh, those golden days!

Anyway, the narrative is pretty good for a debut author and the story line was neat. I loved the characters although I thought there wasn’t enough depth in them, but I guess that’s okay, considering the nature of the story. It is after all about the experiences. Overall, a nice, short read.

What I Did Not Like

There are a few grammatical errors that I could find and also the language could have been more polished, in my opinion. There were places where I had to re-read the sentence in order to understand it perfectly. Also, there’s nothing new in the story, it is a typical college romance and friendship-wala book. Not that I don’t enjoy the kind but I had hoped for some more substance.

Other Details

Right From The Start… She Stole His Heart is a short, romantic read. It is a debut book bu the author Prachi Gupta, co-authored by Sanchit Garg. If you like rom-coms then you might want to pick this up. Good for travel or a weekend read.

Would I Recommend It?

If you want to go for a quick and easy read, then definitely. This is one of those books that you can just breeze through and have fun with!

This is a sweet story of college shenanigans and romances. Assignments, birthday treats, crushes, rejection, scary professors, goofups, and pranks; all make up a part of this story which would remind you of your college life too.

Radhika is the titular accidental Cupid - a narrator as well as a part of the friend circle that this story covers. The group is made up of a diverse set of characters and their interactions are quite funny at times.

A strong focus on teenage emotions and the crazy things we do as teenagers is a major contributor to it's relatability because how many of us have done stupid things in college? That's right, all of us. But it was fun and enjoyable because we had our friends.

As mentioned, it is a sweet story that many of us can relate to, especially people growing up in Indian colleges. The storyline covers 4 years of engineering and is oddly engaging. There is something about the story which makes you want to keep reading. A sequel is in the works and I hope to read that too.

I have only one issue with this book - unfortunately it's a big one. This book needs a massive overhaul - proofreading done by a good copy editor. What confuses me is that at some parts the language is very well written and in some parts the grammar is such that it's hard to believe the very same people wrote both those things. Basically this rating is a 2.5 rounded off to 3.

Because look at it this way - it's a book that has appealed to a lot of people, and has potential to appeal to a lot more. But a more discerning audience would be put off by language errors, like me. A lot of people out there judge a book by it's grammar and how the language takes shape, like me. If it wasn't a review copy, I may not have read past the first few mistakes. But it was a review copy, and so I did. I am glad I read it too, because I honestly enjoyed the story; but my point is, they are limiting their audience by not catering to readers who wish for a more well structured text. I wouldn't wish that on any author.

This book has great potential so my only advice to the authors would be to please hire a good copy editor or atleast a proofreader for the next one. Preferably if they can modify this one too, it would be great.

VERDICT
Though a path already trodden ‘Accidentally Cupid’ marks almost an untraveled path.

REVIEW
he Moment we take on to reading love stories we have a good feeling, at the same time, we know that we are going to meet similar theme in varied forms. Romantic Novels are not something new to me, they are trending in time and definitely influence most of our lives at least in India. But giving it a new look or taking a different dimension to elaborate love is what the authors Prachi and Sanchit done best. The author has splendidly reserved his status (if i am permitted to say) as one of the best romantic novelists.
The cover page speaks umpteen of the storyline, it is attractive and that speaks much of the one who designed it.
The mix and love situation between the protagonists is alluring and that is the reason why you ought to take on to this book to have a romantic and healing read.

When a book is on the bestseller list for a number of weeks with great reviews, I want to read it. I wasn't disappointed - this book was perfect in every respect. Say comedy, romance, drama, suspense. It had everything. The relationship between the hero, heroine and their friends drew me in immediately, and I found myself reading this into the late hours, not able to put it down. Loved the intensity and the clean writing. Would recommend to all.

There Is Something About PRACHI GUPTA Style Of Writing In It’s Clarity And The Smooth Flow That Makes Reading Her Books An Absolute Joy And Her Latest Offering ‘Right From The Start...She Stole His Heart Is No Exception.
Even Though The Book Has Been Written Keeping A Specific Target Readership In Mind Who Shall Immediately Connect With The Tale And Relate With The Characters As They Get Engrossed In This Gripping Tale Of College Romance And See Themselves Reflected Through The Characters.
Getting The Readers To Relate With The Characters Seeing Themselves Reflected In The Characters Speaks Volumes About The Earnestness With Which The Author Has Poured Out Her Heart.
Perhaps It’s Got Something To Do With The Smooth Flow And Effortless Narration That One Starts To Ponder As To Whether This Is All Fiction Alone Or Is PRACHI GUPTA Actually Reveal Her Soul To Her Readers?
Once That Thought Crosses The Mind Right Across The Entire 220 Pages One Cannot But Help Wonder If This Book Is Actually An Extension Of Her College Days Then Would She Possibly Create Radhika Or Nishi From Her Own Mould?
The Very Fact That The Author Can Actually Create This Sort Of A Curiosity In Her Readers Reflects Her Having An Absolute Control On The Readers Psyche.
Even Though, It’s Been 38 Years Since I Walked Out Of College Yet This Book Was Successful In Bringing Back A Torrent Of Long Buried Emotions..
Am Sure All Of Us Will Connect With The Prime Characters Be It Radhika Or Siddharth, Nishi Or Sameer Or Even Surbhi Or Manas. The Names Could Be Different But The Connect Would Be Positively There As We Had Such Characters Cross Our Path In Our Circle Of Friends During College Days And All That We Pursued So Seriously In The Name Of Love The Corridors Of The College Campus.
A Huge Thanks Goes Out To Both The Author PRACHI GUPTA & The Co-Author SANCHIT GARG For Transporting Me Back To My Own College Days When Malls & Mobile Phones Were Not Even Heard Of And Yet Absolutely Nothing Seems To Have Changed One Bit.
As One Rambles Down Memory Lane, Cannot Help But Reminisce Fondly “Those Were The Days My Friend, We Thought They’d Never End!!”

I read through the whole book in one sitting. That I believe is the quality of a good book. The emotions are honest, the language is lucid and there are several moments where I could relate to what the characters feel and speak.
It's not a book that will teach you new concepts and philosophies. But it is one that many of us can relate to and learn something.

The title has been justified through out the plot. The story was confined to just 5 characters which sometimes prove to be a disaster but in this case it was the only way the story could have nurtured.
The author has played nicely with words. For a change, it's a good one from an Indian Author.

I received an e-copy by the author in exchange for an honest review

The biggest issue I had with the book was the flow and the typos. It seemed like the first and last chapters were written by someone else and the middle by someone else. Or maybe start and end were edited while the middle remained as it is. Characters were more of a stereotype Smart Girl, Her less Beautiful best friend, Funny Friend, Hot and Flirty Friend, Sincere friend.

Every few lines I would be distracted by the strange style "Said I" whatever happened to "I Said"

It may purely be my limitation and no fault of the author that I couldn't relate too much to this book, unfortunately, I couldn't and I apologize for not being more positive but I did promise honesty.

People who don't read generally ask me my reasons for reading. Simply put I just love reading and so to that end I have made it my motto to just Keep on Reading. I love to read everything except for Self Help books but even those once in a while. I read almost all the genre but YA, Fantasy, Biographies are the most. My favorite series is, of course, Harry Potter but then there are many more books that I just adore. I have bookcases filled with books which are waiting to be read so can't stay and spend more time in this review, so remember I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

-Right from the start she stole his heart -
The story begins with Radhika's first day in her engineering college. The book is narrated from Radhika's perspective. It's about 5 charecters & their life : Radhika- a smart, beautiful girl, Nishi- a short & confident girl, Siddharth- a crazy guy who is full of sense of humour & a typical flirt , Sameer- a handsome hunk & playboy and Manas- intelligent & secretive guy. Soon these five friends get close to each other. Nishi & Sid are always loggerheads with each other.Sid has challenged Nishi that he would find a girlfriend for himself before she can find a boyfriend. On the other hand Sam falls for Radhika but the latter keeps rejecting him. The story revolves around their life, ambition and love. .
The cover is a bit filmy but it's good. I feel it could be more well designed. The title is catchy.
The protagonists have a love-hate relationship & it's relatable. It perfectly explains the college scenario. The story is immature at times. But then it's a college romance. So craziness is expected.
The language is simple which makes it a quick read.
If you are into true, serious kinda love , you may not like the book. But if you are in college you'll love this. It's a nice story for somebody in college or for somebody who is very young.
It's simple,fun and joyful..

This is one of the worst books I have ever read. the book has around 220 pages but the author gets into the storyline (which is totally unrelated to the title) after 180 pages or so. This books is full of stupid conversations between college kids, repeated over and over. The writing is very mediocre that the author cant even present a conversation without repetitions. Thne book is full of 'he laughed' 'he left' 'we all laughed ' , 'we all left college' 'we came to college' and such ordinary statements repeated over and over again. And the title 'right from the heart she stole his heart' is not at all justified. There is no heart stealing or stealing right from the start type romance here. The pair who the title refers to gets hookedup by accident and they endup marrying bollywood style. This book doesnt even deserve one star.

This book is a beautiful journey to those college days many of us have left behind. All characters Radhika, Siddharth , Nishi , Sameer are developed brilliantly and you feel attached to them from the beginning of the story till end . From romance to challenges of young life, the story has different shades which have been executed so naturally that you feel like reading some pages again & again. It surely deserves a place, in your bookshelf, laptop bag or bed as it’s a gift for lovers.

I found the cover catchy and it was an instant 5 min dicision for me to buy this as I was about to board my flight
This random novel has not disappointed me a little even. I loved the writing style of the authors. The kind of elder and younger sibling conversation was very real and appealing to your heart. Collage life was described so well. Reading this book was sheer pleasure. As it describe the circle of collage life so well. Infatuation - Love - Quarrel - Friends - Tragedy - Bonds for Life and sense of responsibility towards people you love
