Simply great!
I hope this isn't the final chapter of this djinni's escapades. I read the entire series in 5 days and like a kid with ice cream "I want more!!!!!" I love the evolution of Alysse from lone badass to understanding no one person can't do it all alone. The mix of supes, nephilim & humans working together toward a common goal was beautifully crafted. I can't say enough about the these books. The Magic Bullet series is worth a re-read (soon.)

A Brilliant finale
Alyse is a Djinni learning to live as a human alongside her paranormal friends. She knows she has a target on her back but just doesn't who is holding the gun. But that isn't going to stop her tackling the bad guys.

Well, the last book in this series definitely doesn’t disappoint (except for the fact it is the last book).
When a PAN asset, working for Greer, turns up on Alyse’s doorstep she sets out to try and find out what is happening. The asset had advised Greer he had some information but was killed before saying what it was.
Meanwhile humans are suddenly getting the sight and panicking. Alyse thinks it has something to do with the dragon but has no idea what. This leads to a lot of investigating and some interesting turns of events.
It’s great that Reed and Alysa are finally together, it took Alyse a long time to realize that she can trust Reed in everyway. The other characters have also grown and improved.
There was nothing I disliked in this book at all, loved every word.
It has action, mystery, suspense, surprises, some humour and some romance.
I hope that one day there will be more books with these characters.
Definitely a series that I will recommend highly.

tears….
I was so excited for the end and now I’m so sad because it’s over. And it was AWESOME!!!! Man, even when things get really bad, I love that Alyse has such an amazing support group. I also love how much she has changed. Ha- I also love Annie! There’s so many great things about this series. This author has done a wonderful job with this one. I’m so surprised that I didn’t see several of the things coming. It makes it even better to be truly surprised. I’m impressed. I shouldn’t be because I’ve become a massively huge fan of this author for a while now. And yet I still love that she makes things fresh and fun and different. Alyse- you’ve become a beloved character!!! Well done!!

Does It Count As Self Defense If I kick You To The Curb?
MagicBullet4
Alysa Winters has been cut off from her magic and dumped in Philadelphia, in sneakers, sweats and a Mets t shirt. Stuck in her default human form, all she could do was seek out old friends. If her enemies knew where to find her, she was dead - because she had no defenses.
It was hard for a djinni, cuffed in copper and not even an aura to define her. But, Alysa had always defied the odds, and stuck by her friends. Now it’s time for her friends to stick by her, and, to her surprise, they do.
The only problem? Alysa can’t do low profile to save her life. And, she keeps running into the same people… whom she grudgingly respects.
Change is coming, for everyone.

A supernatural version of burn notice. Awesome
It was a supernatural version of burn notice. A genie in a secretive special agent agency gets a burn notice and is returned home with her powers bound. She must survive while trying to get her burners removed. Follow the adventures with a great cast of characters and an exciting storyline to see the final book in this short series. Almost all of the questions or answered and or wrapped up. It was very entertaining and a fun read. Hopefully maybe one day the author will return to this series in if you want off books. Check it out

I liked the series. It had good stories, a nice bunch of characters and it was funny to read.
As for this book - it felt rushed and the conclusion was a bit simple. There was a lot packed into this last book, too much I think. I especially missed the emotional outcome after the many takedowns. It was done and then barely mentioned again, even though there were big changes and a lot of emotional baggage coming with these takedowns.
I never liked that Alyse was most of these books cuffed. It still would have been so much more interesting to see her in her true self for more than just a few scenes.
All in all a nice read, one of the better series of this author actually.

I love this series. I found the author through the PWF group, and started stalking her, working my way through her series. This is the latest I read, and didn't disappoint. I love Alyse and her character arc through the series, gradually coming into her own from a badass lone-wolf to an equally badass person who realized she's stronger with her friends. I love the regional touches (Thompson's addiction to Wawa coffee...I'm from Northern Pennsylvania and well aware of the Sheetz/Wawa rivalry) Great series of books. Now to find something to stave off the book hangover.

Buckle-up, This Series Ends With A Bang!
I really liked seeing how much Alyse continued to grow, as well as seeing her fighting style and her relationships grow. The twists and turns and revelations were wild! However, the fight with The Prince fell a bit flat for me. Mainly because it was over far too soon and he didn't even seem like much of an opponent. Which seemed odd for how powerful he was supposed to be. Aside, from that, I really enjoyed this book! I love Alyse and Reed together and the other odd mix of characters that have grown on me throughout the series.

Excellent series, Annabel.
Finally, our heroine, Alysa, grows into someone worth knowing. Her evolution carries her entourage with her in this last book.
A+ for the entire story, from Burned to this finale, Soulfire . The editing is good as well, but has errors which continued through the series, but is one that many authors make. So not superb.
Thanks for the series. I'll be sure to pass it to my wife, children and grand children. (The ones that are 16 and above for the adult themes.)

Homerun
Soulfire, the culmination of the Magic Bullet series was just as entertaining as the other three. I was a little disappointed at not seeing Alyse use her powers more. I mean come on we waited three books for this. What happened to the big fight between her and the Dragon mage. I have been so in love with Blythe's writing that I expected more. I still enjoyed it none the less.

In this book, Alyse finally gives in to her feelings toward Reid. I thought his brother was pretty cool too. She also found out who was the one who ordered the cuffs put on her. After she found out the culprit, she took care of him since she was much more powerful than he was. I thought this book was a good end to this series. The only thing I did not like about this book was when Alyce finally got her powers back. It did get a little stupid in some areas but other than that it was pretty good.

Great series. Great author.
Annabel Chase is an extraordinary writer. This is the 2nd series I have read and she has ama
zing stories. Things I love- she doesn't reveal everything about the characters in the first book. Like friendship she.slowly reveals the characters. I also enjoy NOT having to skim half the book due to over done sex scenes. Things I hate- reading the last page of the last book and knowing it is over.

Wow, what a way to end the quartet! I loved it! I wasn't sure that all the loose ends were going to be able to be tied up, but they definitely were. Without giving away spoilers, this finale will satisfy all the needs from the series. Lots of lovable characters coming together to have a massive battle. Clearly well-thought-out plotting and pacing. I could go on, but instead of reading my review, read the series lol.
I read this on Kindle Unlimited using Alexa text-to-speech app.

Good ending to the series. As before, there were some situations that were set up as pivotal and they just ended with a comment/whimper. It felt like they ran from situation to situation and just sort of gave each a nod as "done" and there wasn't any wrap up or detail. Some editing issues with this one that made me stop and read sections twice to confirm what was meant and not what was said. Alyse did grow on me as the series developed. Definitely worth a read.

Quite a finale!
I so loved this book! It has everything the other ones had but so much more. Alyse really comes into her own without her powers and then with, in the end. Her love life finally goes where it should and she takes down all of the villains as well. A great ending and well done!

New Regimes
I binge read the entire series this week. I totally enjoyed it and hated to see it end. The characters and story kept their grip on me throughout the series Alyse struggles to maintain her humanity, and marvels over how she has changed into someone who cares deeply about her friends. I like the action, snarky humor, and romance.

Lovely Ending
Loved it. Sometimes authors go way too far and add all this twisty carp at the end. It's like one crazy revelation after another. This wasn't like that at all. 100% satisfying ending, nothing to wrap up and I wasn't bored at any point. Fantastic end to a fantastic series!

Win, win, win!
This was a very interesting and fiery end to this series! I think it’s the end, anyway,a lot of great action, emotion, fun and some really weird family uniting and dissolving. I loved all the characters and hope to see more of Dragon Mage and Pinky. They, along with Alyse and Farrah are the best!

Loved this series!!
The more books I read from this author the more impressed am. Such great world building and character development. There’s plenty of action and a great romance storyline that doesn’t overtake the FL characters developments and strength. Wish there was a continuation to this story!!

Wierd turn...
I really enjoyed the series until half-way through this book. The voice changed completely and the plot was rushed to the finish. It was full of so many plot errors. I don't know what happened (maybe AI) but the second half of the book made no sense. A huge disappointment.

Good series
I loved these books and the way the characters had real issues and they resolved them in a normal way. I also loved how the characters evolved, I would love to see more books and spend more time with them all.

Very good. I enjoyed the entire series. This final book did an excellent job of wrapping everything up. The female characters were amazing - strong in values and character as well as, seriously badass. The love stories were very sweet.

The end of a good series
I enjoyed this last book in the series (hopefully only so far). I love the way the story played out and how all the loose ends were tied up. A great series. I look forward to reading the other series by this author.

Fast-paced, never dull, full of revelations and revolutions. Annabel Chase never fails to entertain and delight. In the final book of the Magic Bullet series, she ties everything up perfectly.

A great conclusion to the series! We get all the answers from the questions that arose throughout the other books and find out how Alyse and her friends move forward. The epilogue was a good touch too. Satisfying ending to the series.

I love this series!
Such a unique cast of characters! Wonderful plot twists and turns. I actually admired that Annabel didn't get so graphic in some scenes because sometimes intimacy should stay, well... Intimate. I hope she is coming out with more books to this series! Enjoy!

Loved this series
A couple of coups and a happy ending. I loved how this series wrapped up. All the main characters shined through the book, and the evildoers got what they needed.

loved it
I loved this series so much. I loved the slow burn romance! Most book sets bore me after the second… but I couldn’t put this set down. It’s like a coming of age book for an adult. Which to me is way bigger than when we as teenagers do it.

Great set of books!
I have greatly enjoyed this series of stories. Annabel Chase weaves a compelling narrative that integrates a knowledge of mythological creatures with a good story.
