Earthbound Angels #3

Virtue and Honor

Rate this book
It’s a lot to be twenty-one and to deal with life-and-death situations all the time. That’s Angela Waters’s reality as an emergency room nurse and angel. Still, it never could have prepared her for a divine destiny that will challenge everything she thought she knew.

Mason Kearney keeps getting thrown into her path—and it’s got to be more than just coincidence. He’s taken with the brunette beauty and she doesn’t even notice the bits of her heart he steals every time he’s around, or the messages she’s receiving from her angelic bosses warning her to stay away from him.

It turns out that Mason is not the only one interested in the pretty girl with violet eyes. There’s also a demon who is hell-bent on taking her wings. It’s not enough to avoid him, she’s got to destroy him. The fate of the earthbound angels relies on it.

Challenge reluctantly accepted.

It would just be nice if her heart would stop getting in the way.

Randi doesn’t take herself seriously, and neither should you. Depending on the day, she’ll claim to be a beach girl (not a lie, that’s where she grew up) or a little too country (not really a lie either, she lives in Kentucky). She’s a perfectionist (a blessing and a curse), a little bit obsessive-compulsive about grammar, a lot neurotic about stupid things like eating cake, and is too sarcastic for her own good. She has too many dogs, a handful of cats, and a kid to keep her busy. She’d much rather be curled up with a dog, a book, and a glass of Moscato than going out and doing stuff because introverting is cool. (And adulting is not.)

She refuses to stay in her own damn lane, writing some contemporary romance and some paranormal romance (but her favorite to write is PNR). She’s the author of All the Wrong Places (Melange Books), a full-length contemporary novel, and contemporary romance novellas, Spar, (Moirae Publishing) and Anticipating Temptation (Melange Books). She also wrote a PNR trilogy, a gay romance novella, and had short stories published in anthologies that are all now out of print. (Good things don’t last forever.)

Perrin's new novel sizzles with scorching charisma. If you like Southern boys who've got some serious moves, Mason is the man for you. And Angela is a strong siren of a girl who must overcome her own romantic inexperience to end up happily ever after. A cheerfully satisfying end to this trilogy, VIRTUE AND HONOR will leave you breathless.

Virtue and Honor is the third (and final) book in the Earthbound Angels series, by Randi Perrin. It is a superb paranormal romance with plenty of action, drama, suspense, angels, demons, good vs evil; and a sexy, sweet love story. I have loved this series so much, I am sad to think that it is over. Having to say goodbye to these characters makes my heart ache. I hope somewhere along the line, Ms. Perrin will let us revisit this series again with a new book (hint, hint, hint Ms. Perrin).
If you haven’t read Virtue of Death/ Book One (Destin & Sera’s story) or Promises of Virtue/ Book Two (Cheryl and Luc’s story) yet, I really recommend that you do, because even though you could read these books as standalones, a lot of character information and backstory are found in the other books and having all those details as well will really enhance your enjoyment of this book.
Angela Waters is twenty-one years old and works as a nurse in a busy ER, as well as being an Earthbound Angel whose destiny lies in performing miracles. She is a little shy and reserved, but with a kind and compassionate heart. There has been a past loss that shadow’s her life and she feels little broken by this experience. Because of her hurt, and her ‘double life’, Angela hasn’t dated much and isn’t interested in a relationship. Even though she has a close relationship with her parents, as well as her best friend Harper, there are times that Angela feels extremely lonely.
After much nagging, Harper finally convinces Angela into going on a ‘girl’s night out’. They end up at a nightclub that has male strippers, and it’s there that one of the strippers catches her eye. He’s drop dead gorgeous and she can’t help feeling drawn to him, like no one ever before. An incident occurs that requires Angela to step in to ‘save’ the sexy man’s life and little does Angela know that her intervention is only the beginning of a chain of events that will change her life forever.
Mason Kearney works as a construction worker/carpenter by day and a sexy stripper by night. He is in the middle of renovating his own home, as well as having other bills that have depleted his bank account. He juggles both jobs in an effort to make ends meet. He’s working the stage one night at the club, when he is captivated by a gorgeous woman with the most beautiful violet eyes he’s ever seen. He can’t stop thinking about her.
Fate seems to be throwing these two together, because the next day he has an accident at his work site and is taken to the ER, the same ER that Angela works at. This isn’t to be the last time he sees her either, and he’s willing to do anything to get to know her better. They soon fall under each other’s spell and their budding relationship begins to blossom. But he has secrets that haunt him and threaten to destroy his chance at happiness.
Then, Angela and the entire Earthbound Angel community comes under threat, when a powerfully dangerous Demon begins targeting Angels. The clock is ticking and unfortunately Angela is the only one who’s capable of defeating this vile threat and there is absolutely no room for mistakes.
Will Angela have to go against everything she believes in to be able to defeat this evil? With so much at stake, will Angela choose her heart or her wings? Why are the Earthbounds under threat? What does the future hold for Mason and her?
I have been anticipating the release of this book and had thought a lot about what the story would entail, I knew it would be good but I wasn’t expecting Ms. Perrin to leave the best till last. This is definitely my favourite story from the trilogy!
The story is so well written; with Ms. Perrin’s wonderful, vivid and descriptive style which entices you into her stories and holds you there, clambering to absorb every detail of her incredible story, and leaving you hanging on every word just to discover what happens next. I have said it before and I say it again, that Ms. Perrin is certainly a masterful story teller, who’s able to skilfully choreograph elements of suspense, action, adventure, humour, heartfelt emotion and sinfully sexy moments- into a sublime story.
I found this story to be a little darker, grittier, and more complex than the previous stories- which I loved. It gives this story its own unique flavour and identity within the trilogy, while remaining true to the thread of story that flows through all three books.
The characters are perfect! Mason and Angela, sigh, are so great together. It’s kismet! They are beautifully written, fully developed, interesting and endearing.
I also loved catching up with the characters from the previous books, and finding out what’s been happening in their lives.
This story has a quick pace and flows smoothly. It is easy to read- I read it in one sitting.
Now I’m anticipating what Ms. Perrin will be offering us next!

A wonderful conclusion to the trilogy, Thank you Ms Perrin!

Virtue and Honour by Randi Perrin an Angelic five-star read. This is the third book in the Earthbound Angels books, but each can be read as stand-alone. There is something special about Angels they have always fascinated me, ever since I was a little kid so as soon as I know there was another book coming, I knew I had to read it. I wasn’t disappointed, especially having read the first two and knowing who the main character in this book is. I know they can be read as stand-alone but I loved how if you have read the other books this one almost gives you a little glimpse at the others’ lives, including some that you don’t expect to see again (Although I had an inkling the minute that red headed girl was mentioned, loved how that wrapped into the story)(This will make sense if you read them all).
Angela Waters has a heavy mantel on her shoulders she is daughter of Sera and Destin Waters (Amazing baker extraordinaire, also inventor of Angel Wings cookies and Supremo food critic) Not only that she has two very intense jobs, she works as a nurse In an Emergency Room where she gives all her time to helping others get better, and earth-bound Angel where it’s her job to perform miracles to save people!! Sometimes you need a break, so when bestie Harper drags her along to see some dancing, and insists that she has an alcoholic drink Angela thinks her night may be a ruin, until she has to step in to save a man in Sparkly Purple fabric. Then it looks like something could be smiling down on her.
While day-dreaming about Purple eyes and hearing his name Mason Kearney falls from a roof and ends up in hospital facing those Purple eyes, it’s an Angel in nursing scrubs, until she shows him a sharp pointy thing then she becomes the devil. But when she saves him once again and fate seems to keep throwing them at each other, things move forward. The only problem is one of them can’t lie, and they both have secrets that neither would believe.
Will they ever see past the differences and will true love conquer evil? Or will one of the devils, this one with the red hair scupper plans without even trying?
I loved this book, I kept me hooked all the way through, the only negative I could find was one scene near the end that’s quite a biggie, I felt it could have been longer, but I still loved the book as a whole so it didn’t detract that badly. Thank you Randi Perrin for once again writing an amazing story.

Virtue and Honor (Earthbound Angels Book 3) by Randi Perrin is the third book in her Earthbound Angels series. This story can be read as a stand alone but I would highly suggest that you read the previous two books as it will give you some background information on some of the characters that you will meet in this book. The one thing that I enjoy the most about this author is her imagination with her writing style. This is a fantasy story that has a few twists and turns and will keep you engaged until the last page. Her characters are true to life and connectable. I enjoy how this series has made the female characters the heroines, of course there are the males in here to complete the romance part. In my opinion it is very rare where we see such strong female characters. Find out if these characters will be able to save earthbounds from evil.

Angela Waters has two jobs, one she is a nurse and the other she is an earthbound angel. What will happen when she is out one night and saves a stripper, Mason Kearny who has southern charm but also a secret. This leads her to question her angel job and all the injustices which also leads to something that will change her life forever. Right now she is in the fight of her life with a demon who is trying to take her wings on top of her falling for the Alabama boy. She is sent to find out everything about a group of angels that have been rallying behind her. Will she save the earthbounds from an untimely demise? Will she survive with her heart and her wings or will she lose them both?

Angela and Mason's relationship is not all that normal. She keeps popping up where ever he is, it confuses him. Angela has the weight of the world on her shoulders and Mason has a past that haunts him. They really do complete each other when you wouldn't think they would. Mason is determined to win Angela over, will he be able to? These are great characters, Angela is our heroine of the story and she is strong. I give her so much credit for doing what she does, she has the weight of the world on her plus a demon trying to take her wings away from her. Mason, in my opinion could have been a little stronger but he is lovable. He is responsible but yet has a mystery about him that keeps you wanting to know more about him. One of the other things that I enjoyed about this story, is that we got to meet some great new characters. I hope that we get to see more of them in future books. Honestly, fate just keeps throwing curve balls at them but will they be able to survive them? What will fate have in store for these two? Find out what happens with Angela and Mason as they start they journey together.

I am not sure how many of Randi Perrin's books I have read but this is my favorite of her series. I hope to see more from her with this series. Randi has spent the majority of her life writing in one form or another. When she isn't writing, she goes insane. Her husband has learning to recognize when it is time for her to empty her head of the voices and gives her the time to put them on paper. This is a fast page turner that will keep you turning pages just to see what is behind the next page. I lost track of time with this story as it is that fast reading. There are twists and turns that maybe be surprising. Find out what happens to Angela and Mason. Will they find their HEA? Will she save her wings?

Virtue and Honor by Randi Perrin

Virtue and Honor is book 3 of The Earthbound Angels Series. The books are paranormal romance stories. Whilst each can be read as a standalone it is better to read the books in order as they are related and each book continues the story of Earthbound Angels introduced in the previous one. Book 3 tells the story of Angela Waters and Mason Kearney.
Angel Waters is the daughter of a bakery owner (Sera Waters) and a journalist (Destin Waters) unknown to her they harbour a secret about the past life of her mother. Unknown to them she harbours a secret about herself: a secret she knows she has to guard carefully as she could place herself at great risk if she lets it slip. Angela is an attractive, young, single woman who works at the local hospital as a nurse. Her long-time boyfriend died long enough ago for Angela to begin to feel lonely. Reluctantly she agrees to go with her best friend to a nightclub. Fate somehow intervenes as she saves the life of a male stripper. Her attraction to the stripper causes her to feel guilty and begin to question whether she can continue with her secret life. Angela’s life is about to change beyond recognition.
Mason Kearney’s day job is on a construction site; his night job is a stripper. He has debts and bills to pay so he needs the two jobs. He’s a southerner, the like of which Angela has never encountered before. After the incident at the nightclub he hopes she will come back again. Imagine his surprise when after an accident at work Angela is the nurse who attends him in hospital. Unfortunately Mason too has his secrets, but unlike hers, his are dangerous.
As the attraction they both feel for each other gets stronger, Angela receives warnings that she must stay away from Mason. In turn Mason’s secret puts them both in danger. Can they ever be together? Are they able to have their ‘Happy Ever After’?
In addition, Angela learns more about her own secret and is sent on a quest to find out all she can about Earthbound Angels and demons. Her life and the life of others depend on her being successful. Will she be successful or will she lose her own life in the process.
Randi Perrin has done it again – another five stars from me. This book was just as intriguing as the previous books. It moved along at a fast pace and was very easy to follow and read. The characters were refreshingly real being multi-dimensional and likeable. I felt multiple emotions for Angela and for Mason depending on the events in their story. There came a point where I did feel despair for Angela and hoped there would be a realistic way out of her problem. Happily there was and it made the story more credible because she was able to use her own special skill to solve it. Would be nice if there was another book in the series because I’ve enjoyed these so much. Don’t hesitate to read any of Randi Perrin’s books – they are amazing reads that will leave you thinking about life, love and angels long after you’ve read them.

Virtue and Honor (Earthbound Angels Book 3)
By: Randi Perrin
5 out of 5 stars

The story Virtue and Honor (Earthbound Angels Book 3) by Randi Perrin is a paranormal/romance book. Angela Waters is a nurse and earthbound angel. On a girls night out she saves the life of one of the strippers in the club she is at. She then meets this handsome man again and while she finds herself attracted to him, she is also finding out revelations that change the way she sees herself and those around her. Mason Kearney had been having a very bad day when he finds that a certain woman keeps showing up in his life. From this one day starts a relationship that has a few surprises along the way. There is also a dangerous demon lurking about and showing itself at the most inopportune times. He is after Angela, determined to have her wings. Read to find out if both Mason and Angela are able to find true love even with the dangerous situations that they seem to find themselves in. Will the evil demon be defeated or will he take everything that Angela loves?

This is the amazing third book in the Earthbound Angels series. I really, really loved both the story and the new characters that are introduced. This is a series where the characters overlap in each book so I highly recommend reading this series in order. This book will have you from the very beginning and you don’t want to put it down until you have read the last word. I fully believe in angels and with the exception of a few, that the characters found a way into my heart and I loved reading about them. They begin to feel like friends and you can’t wait to find out what is going on in their lives. In this story, Angela finds herself on a mission where she must turn to others and use their knowledge in order to succeed. The fate of all earthbounds are involved and I felt the heaviness that Angela has on her shoulders. Mason is a man with a past that haunts him. He works hard and is very responsible. Now he has set his sights on Angela and is determined to win her over. I had a lot of empathy for Mason and what he has gone through in his life. There is an air of mystery around Mason and situations that happen to him. Finding out the answers is one reason I was quickly turning pages. This is a beautiful love story and had me firmly believing that Angela and Mason are meant to be. It is a wonderful story to get lost in for the afternoon!

Virtue and Honor is the third of Randi Perrin’s Earthbound Angels books. It tells the story of Angela, the daughter of Sera who is the protagonist of the first Earthbound Angels book.

Like her mother, Angela is an angel and, like her mother, Angela's commitment to her duties is complicated by her feelings for a human. But Angela's story is different to her mother's - where Sera was an angel of death, Angela performs miracles. And Angela has her own challenges to face, including a demon who is on a mission to wipe out earthbound angels.

I really like the way Perrin continues the story through different characters in each book - first Sera, then Cheryl, and now Angela. I’m a little bit confused about when this book is set - in Promises of Virtue the characters communicate via Skype and this should be around two decades later but it still feels like it’s set at a roughly contemporary time. But that’s relatively minor and the characters do acknowledge the passage of time.

It’s wonderful to get to see more of Sera, Destin, Cheryl and Luc now they’re all grown up, and have the characters developed further. I’m pleased we get to see more of Sera’s baking, which was the highlight of Virtue of Death for me! And, like with Promises of Virtue, it’s great to learn more about the wonderful and intricate world Perrin has created. There’s plenty of fun romance between Angela and Mason, and the friendship between Angela and Harper mirrors that of Sera and Cheryl without being unoriginal. There’s also a darker side - as well as demonic forces all of the main characters are dealing with various forms of grief and bereavement. This is done very movingly and with sensitivity, which increases its emotional impact.

I give this book five out of five stars. I’ve really enjoyed this series, and am glad we got to a further glimpse into the lives of the earthbound angels. If you’re new to the series, I’d definitely recommend starting at the beginning as Virtue and Honor brings together aspects that were introduced in the earlier books and it’s quite exciting when you recognise what’s happening!

Angela Waters juggles two high-stress jobs: nurse and earthbound angel. On a rare girls’ night out, she intervenes and saves the life of Mason Kearney, a stripper with southern charm and a secret. It’s a move that will force her to contemplate why in all the heavens she puts up with the injustice of being an angel, which leads to a bombshell that challenges everything she’s ever known.

In the midst of falling for the Alabama boy, she’s in for the fight of her life when a demon, hell-bent on taking her wings, shows up at the most inopportune times.

With a family of angels rallying behind her, she’s sent on a mission to learn everything about them, herself, and evil, to save all the earthbounds from an untimely demise.

Can Angela survive with her heart and her wings intact?

Virtue and Honor was the third book in Randi Perrin’s series Earthbound Angels which she left the best for last! This was a very hard book to put down my eyes were sagging and vision was blurring for being tired or I could have finished it in an evening. Mason is the perfect southern gentleman who any girl would go gaga over even with a past like he had he still had a wonderful heart. Angela was a combination of her father, mother, aunt & uncle she was remarkable. I don’t want to give anything away but if you have read the other two books in the series you may have a hint of who I am talking about. Which came a shock when I got a couple of chapters in but was delighted about who her family was. After reading three previous book by Randi I was not disappointed she has a way to draw a reader in a book make the reader feel they are experiencing the characters story with a few giggles & tears. If you are looking for a paranormal with shifters but about angels I recommend you pick up a copy of Virtue and Honor today and find out why it was such a hard book to put down & discover true love conquers all! Thank you Randi for such an excellent series I am so sad it is coming to an end.

I received a free copy for my honest review!

I give Virtue and Honor (book 3 in the Earthbound Angels series) by Randi Perrin 5 stars.

Angela Waters is a nurse. But she’s also an earthbound angel. When she gets the call, an itch between her shoulder blades, she has to find who needs saving. This is a virtuous job, but it has its downfalls. She cannot drink, swear, and she doesn’t have the ability to lie. Her best friend thinks she’s just pushing the good little girl routine a bit too far. She begins to question if this is really for her. Not to mention her love life, or lack there of. Then she goes out with her best friend to a male strip club. She gets the call to save someone and it turns out to be the sexy man currently on stage.

Mason Kearney is a construction worker by day and stripper at night. It’s hard work keeping both jobs, but he needs the money to pay off some people and keep the renovations on his house going. He is on stage one evening when he sees this girl in the audience. Her captivating purple eyes seem to call to him. The next day, he falls during his construction job and is sent to the hospital. Then who walks in, but the woman with the purple eyes. He can’t stop thinking about her. When fate steps in and they meet again, he decides to pursue this woman. He has his own demons, but she makes him feel more whole than he has in a long time.

But she has her own secrets from the past too. She feels for him, but thinks she is not good enough. It turns out this may not be the only thing she has to worry about. She just may become a part of something much bigger than just her and her problems. Will she be able to find true love and find out just why she was chosen to be an earthbound?

This was a wonderful book in a great series. The characters you love from the previous books are back, but they take a back burner to this wonderful new couple of characters as they fight for both love and honor. The story is done very well and pulls you in right away. You will fall in love with this book and the characters.

Angela Waters is 21 and juggles being a nurse along with being an earthbound angel. It is a job she takes seriously. On a rare night out with her best friend Harper she saves the life of Mason Kearney, a male stripper and hopes that no one saw her.

Mason Kearney has not had an easy go of it the past year or so. His girlfriend dumped him, his mom died and his "step-dad" Seth Black has turned into more of an ass. When he manages to get a nail stuck in his arm he winds up at the hospital where he sees Angela again and asks her for coffee.

As Angela and Mason begin to get to know each other and start a relationship they have no idea how much more is at play and how their lives are intertwined and not in a good way. When Angela must make a very difficult choice will she honor the greater good or just herself?

This was another good story in the series and the battle between good and evil.

I liked Angela and I felt bad that she had so much responsibility at a young age. I thought it was funny when she went to take a drink at the club and what happened next. Poor girl! I liked her relationship with Mason and they just seemed to work together so well and had a great time together. I loved the special place he took her!

Mason was great and I felt bad that he really had some sad crap in his life. I felt bad when Billy asked if he could date Lilith and even more with the other thing Billy asks him later. His step-dad was a total ass and I felt bad that so much seemed to go wrong for him. Until he met Angela.

So there were a few twists and turns and I kind of pieced a lot of it together during the book but a couple of things I sure hadn't. I did figure out who was causing the problems but some of the other stuff I didn't remember - like who Lilith was. The stuff with Mason's mom definitely surprised me!

I'm definitely interested to see if there are any more books in the series and where it will go now!

>Book Review – Virtue and Honor

>I am an independent reviewer. This is the third book in the Earthbound Angels series and ends in an HEA. This book takes up the story of earthbound angels at the second generation. Sera and Destin’s daughter, Angela is an earthborn virtue. She is also a nurse and meets Mason, construction worker and exotic dancer in the ER. Their attraction is immediate. The whole exotic dance thing causing jealousy is never an issue, although it would have been an issue for me.

>The way Mason treats Angela is so sweet. He is an old fashioned gentleman. He has an abusive step-father and no other family to speak of. There are some conflicts with Mason’s ex and of course, Angela leaving at weird times to go do her angel work is something she is not able to explain. A powerful demon is threatening all of the earthbound angels and for some reason Angela is their only hope.

>Angela’s best friend, Harper is not a positive character in this story. She is crass, but in a negative, hurtful way. The story could have done without her or toned down her personality a bit. Mason’s secret threatens his relationship with Angela and really comes in to play at the climax of the book. The scenes with Destin and Mason are hysterical. Destin is the epitome of the protective father and totally acts the part.

>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the story 5 stars. This book was the perfect ending to this series, which kept getting better as the series went on.

Virtue and Honor is the third book in this series. It's set about twenty years after Sera and Cheryl's books. This book the story of how a stripper falls in love with an angel. Or better known as love conquers all.
Angela is an earthbound Virtue. She performs miracles. She never expected to catch a bullet for a male stripper one night. But she did.
Mason's main job is as a roofer and carpenter. But he strips at night to help pay off his debt to his stepfather. A debt his stepdad holds over him every chance he gets.
There's trouble brewing for all earthbounds. Someone or something is tearing off their wings and killing them. Only a special angel can bring this new form of evil down. Angela was born at the right time and under the right circumstances to be that special angel. Too bad she freezes at the sound of a gun cocking. That's how her first boyfriend was killed. She's got to work past her issues to be the miracle the earthbounds need.
Mason doesn't discover his part in everything until the very end. He's just trying to win and keep the girl. But Angela makes it hard on him. She's not entirely over her deceased boyfriend. Mason has to work hard to cover any ground with her.
These two together can accomplish almost anything.
This author does it again. I can almost believe that this is exactly how angels walk among us. It just makes sense. It does make you wonder...

Virtue and Honor
By Randi Perrin
5 stars!
It’s another fantastic 5 star read from Randi Perrin! I am completely hooked on this series. The author has totalled opened my eyes to paranormal romance and I have really enjoyed it. I really like the authors writing style, her stories just flow seamlessly and are so easy to read. The characters pull you into their stories and are always likeable. One of the many things I like about this author is her descriptive writing. I can always imagine what I am reading, from the scenery right down to the vivid colours and intricacies of the angel wings. Again with the other books I found myself not wanting to put this book down.
Virtue and Honor is the third book in this series and in it we meet Angela who is Sera and Destin’s daughter – she is also an earthbound angel.
I really liked Angela; she definitely reminded me of her Mum and had a great mix of both Sera and Destin. She had a great compassionate nature and you could see that with the people she helped both in her job as a nurse and an earthbound angel.
Mason was just super yummy and I could see why Angela fell for him! Their first meeting was great and I loved the connection that they had with each other.
I loved some of the unexpected twists in this story too!! If you have read the previous books in this series then you will not be disappointed with this new installment! If you haven’t read them then I highly recommend that you do – all three books are amazingly written!

This book, much like the first two, was a gripping and wonderful read. Although part three of the series, it can be read as a stand alone novel. You would, however, miss out on the lovely discovery that this book is about the daughter of two amazing characters that are in the first book! It was so touching to read having been invested in them before and to catch up with them years on.

The author has a way of making the characters really get you involved in them and wanting things to go well for them. The story is a beautifully crafted tales of earthbound angels that is anything but far fetched. I loved how this story, like the first, has kept its feet in the ground even though some of the characters have wings.

Having read all three of this series, I think I can safely say that they are all great and that a Randi Perrin book is a guaranteed great read.

I love fantasy books and especially enjoy them when they feel very real and easy to get into. This book is one of those and one which I admire as well as loved to read as I think that is quite a challenge for an author to do.

I also like the fact that, where some series are just a rehash of the first story, this one is not. There are similarities but, as with the second book, this one had its own qualities and edge to it.

I cannot recommend this book highly enough and cannot wait to read more from Randi Perrin.

Virtue and Honor, by Randi Perrin, is the third book of the Earthbound Angels series. It is strongly recommended to read the previous books in this paranormal romance series to get a firm understanding on what this series offers. It was great to see characters from the previous books overlap into Virtue and Honor - Angela's story.

I enjoyed the suspenseful elements that author wove into the story along with the romantic drama and intrigue. The life of an angel is not easy, as we've seen in the previous books of the series. That holds true here. It's not instantaneous, but it shifts and grows, while it morphs into something completely unexpected. A revelation of what is wanted versus what is desired, while dealing with other influences with less than honorable intentions.

I liked Angela's character, she spoke to me on several levels. The dynamic of this story was so much heavier in parts that its predecessors and it was done well. Randi Perrin has crafted another exquisite story with amazing characters, drama and suspense that leave you sitting on the edge of your seat as you are turning the next page. The author's writing style is terrific in this story and the author has given the reader a plot that is a perfect mix of detail to not be overly drawn and unnecessary. I enjoyed the character dialogues between friends and even those that are not necessarily so friendly. The author has made this story engaging and a definite must read.

Honour and virtue by Randi perrin is the third book in the virtue series and is a great addition to the series, bringing together loose ends from the previous books while spinning a wonderful tale all of its own at the same time. Taking place 20 years after the first two books this story revolves around Angela, a virtue angel with the ability to perform miracles and also an emergency nurse. She meets Mason, a builder who hasn’t had the best start in life but keeps looking for the positive, once he sees Angela he knows she is something special and will not give up until she gives him a chance. the chemistry between these two is hot and ready to combust. But a dark force from the past has resurfaced and is threatening all Angela and mason hold dear. We get to see what happened to our favourite characters from the previous books and how their lives have turned out.
Randi Perrin keeps upping her game with these books and I am very excited to see what she does in the future, this is a beautifully written paranormal romance with a great twist at the end to make sure she keeps us guessing and on the edge of our seats. I can’t even think of anything constructive to say, this was a perfect book for me, and I really hope we see more from Randi Perrin.

Virtue and Honor is the third book in the Earthbound Angels series by Randi Perrin. I have been following this series from the beginning and I was so happy to get caught up with these angels and meet a new one. I loved both Sera and Cheryl's stories and how they found the loves of their lives and in this book we meet Angela.

Angela is a twenty one year old nurse and she is a special angel, the first of her kind, a angel born from a fallen angel. Angela works and spends time with her best friend Harper and that is about it. That is until Harper drags her out to a girls night at a male strip club. Angela can't take her eyes off of one guy and can't figure out why.

Mason is a part time dancer to help get his bills paid but works construction by day. His mother is dead and has a horrible relationship with his step father. He lives alone but is pretty close to the elderly lady who lives next door to him. He finds himself at the hospital after getting injured at his day job and in the presence of Angela.

I really hope there is a fourth book in this series. There were a few characters introduced in this book I would like to see more of and I would like to see what happens with Angela and Mason in the future. I highly recommend this series.

Virtue and Honor- Randi Perrin

5 out of 5 stars

Virtue and Honor by Randi Perrin is an absolutely amazing read. It’s book 3 in the Earthbound Angels series and is definitely a page-turner. Some how each book is better then the last. I was hooked from the first chapter, it’s intense, mysterious, funny, and the storyline flows perfectly. This is one of my most favorite series, the amount of detail is incredible, and everything is really thought through with so much meaning. If I could give it a 10 star I certainly would, this is another must read by Randi Perrin. Virtue and Honor was by far my favorite book in the series, it’s darker then the first two but it also has a completely mind blowing storyline, I was surprised at every turn and I never could have seen the ending coming. I would recommend reading this series in order and not as standalones; there is so much detail that no book in the series should be missed. I was so captivated by this storyline I couldn’t put it down. Like every other book in the series I get so pulled in that everything else ceases to exist. The fact that characters from the previous books made appearances added to my love for it. This is a series I will forever recommend; it’s not one that anyone should miss out on!

Virtue and Honor is the third and sadly the last book in the Earthbound Angels series by this talented writer Randi Perrin. I am sad that the series is coming to an end, as I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about these wonderful earthbound angels in all three books. You must read each book in order or you will not understand the relationships between the characters. All the characters from the previous books are written into this one, although they do not have big parts but I love them just as much as I did when I read the first two books. Randi introduced us to two new characters, who were just as enjoyable to read about as they fight evil for a love that conquers all. Randi has a way of writing that draws you into this magical world she has created for us to enjoy.

In this book we see Angela who is destined for big things to come. She is an angel who must fight an evil that is set to destroy everything she knows. When she meets Mason, who is a sweet southern boy, she learns that family and true love, in the end, is all you need.

There will be laughter, love and a little sadness in this story but if you are looking for a good and fun read about angels then Virtue and Honor and this series is just what you need.

It´s so sweet and adorable I could still feel the phantom taste of Sera´s angel wings pastries on my lips. And that´s only a small detail.
Angela is dragged by her bestie, Harper, to a strip club, just to enjoy some eye candy and leave the mundane worries behind. And boy, they got the prize that day. Mason is a spectacular specimen of a man - only he is also Angela´s assignment for the evening. When she saves his life from a bullet, she has no idea that he will end up in the hospital the next day after an accident at work, during her nurse shift. Re-acquainted after previous evening, both of them wish for no less than meet again, and Harper is the devil matchmaker here. Only, entering a relationship is not so easy for these two despite their mutual feelings, and their family bonds to earthbounds and the fallen angel Michael bring them into really unexpected situations.
I love this series with deep, gentle, all-consuming love that radiated through the pages to me all the time. I just absorbed the deep emotional flow and gave it back. Despite all the tension and mystery, this book really had some serious soothing effects on me, and I didn´t want it coming to an end. I absolutely adored the characters and prayed for their love to be great and fulfilled, because they really deserved it. I know, with these books you always expect HEA, but nothing is ever guaranteed. However, I loved how the plot developed and the climax brought me on the edge.
I already wish for another book from this series. Awesome read.

Virtue and Honor by Randi Perrin is part of the Earthbound Angels series. This is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone. I have enjoyed this series of earthbound angels and how they live normal lives as everyday humans but also have a life as an angel to assist us on earth. This story follows Angela and Mason. Both have complicated pasts but are truly meant for each other. I enjoyed reading their story and watching it unfold. Angela is very innocent and naïve but with a heart of gold and lost her best friend and love. Mason is experienced and had his heart crushed by an ex. The two have normal relationship struggles but also the added twist that Angela is an earthbound angel. Her work as an angel also is filling her life with twists and turns.
I really enjoyed the characters Angela and Mason. I was rooting for them to make it out of the turmoil together. I have read the other books in the series and liked how the past characters were brought into the story. The characters are great and the story was exciting. I will continue to look for books from this author in the future.

Virtue and Honor by Randi Perrin earns a solid four star rating from me. I really loved the love story in Virtue and Honor. Mason and angela are so right for one another, they fit together like an amazing puzzle of love. the respect they each have for the other is really refreshing.
I don’t think I’m spoiling anything to say that Ms. Perrin has given me a whole new and different perspective on angels and their abilities. This world is built with care. It is very cohesive and well put together. I really loved the story, although I had a bit of trouble following the timeline. It felt just a little coherced and I didn’t quite get all the connections until the end of the book. Not a huge problem.
I love the relationships built in this book. I love the characters and I really love the continuity that has been in all of these books.
This is a sweet, beach read, (even though summer is nearly at an end!! BooHoo!) Still, this would be a great last hurrah for summer and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a nice, really good read. Thank you Ms Perrin for your effort in bringing this book to us.

Virtue and Honor by Randi Perrin is the third book in her Earthbound Angels books and it has been a long time coming! You can read it as a standalone paranormal romance but why should you as you will get so much more out if when you have read the first two as you know so much more of who, when, where and why!
This book is the story of Angela Walters and Mason Kearney. Angela is the daughter of Sera (the amazing baker extraordinaire) and Destin (highly regarded food critic). She has two very demanding jobs – she is a nurse at the ER and … an earthbound angel … And she has the coolest job ever as the angel, she can perform miracles! Mason also has two jobs … a construction worker by day and … a stripper by night! He is a charmer from Alabama who is completely alone in the world if you discount his stepfather Seth and I promise you, we should definitely do so!
The writer takes us on a crazy rollercoaster ride with dark secrets and despair and love and … She keeps you guessing until the end and you keep hoping for the best … It is another fantastic read and I hope it will not be the last in the series!

Virtue and Honor by Randi Perrin is the third instalment in her fantastic angel series. This time the book follows a whole new character while staying true to the unique storytelling we have come to love from the previous two books.

Angela has been a Virtue for three years. It is something she both loves and struggles with. Still dealing with a grief from her past only adds to her dilemma.
Meeting the gorgeous stripper from her night out opens her up to some possibilities she had closed herself off from.

Mason works hard. He works to pay off his debts and to get himself free of the life he had. He works hard to try and give himself the new life that he wants.
Meeting Angela isn't something he expected, or particularly wanted, but once he did she became something he needed.

With secrets on both sides there are almost insurmountable odds for them to try and overcome, the least of which is the surfacing of a new evil.

This was a well written, gripping and engaging book. As well put together as the rest of the series this was yet again another one I couldn't put down. Randi Perrin has quickly become a favourite author of mine that I will read everything of.

Virtue and Honor - Earthbound Angels Book 3 by Randi Perrin - 4 stars

"Love is the strongest form of the light."

This has been an enjoyable series to read. Although this is considered a stand-alone, I think it's important to read the first two books in the series. It's been a while since I read them, and it took me a few minutes to remember who was who and why. I will be re-reading the series in its entirety soon.

As the Earthbound Angels series continues, we get to meet Angela whose purple eyes match her beautiful purple wings and Mason, a human who has a string of bad days before he meets her. Their love is the kind that is written about in Angela's mother's romance novels. Sweet and innocent and hot and yearning. There are things that Angela can't share and events that Mason doesn't understand. Together, they may just solve the problem.

What a great series this has been. The characters have all been unique in their qualities yet have the common bond of goodness. The way Randi Perrin writes makes me want to believe that earthbounds really do exist to help humans along.

I would absolutely recommend this series.

I have to say this is my favorite book of the series! I loved seeing the characters that we loved in the first book, and getting to see this parent side to them.

So the two main characters may be opposites but the same time they have some of those amazing similarities Mason was so sweet that you can't help but love him and Angelia was so tough. She wasn't a weak heroine and that helped move the story along.

The plot kept me interested the whole way through. I won't give too much away but I loved their jobs! Mason was HOT and Angela helped people. Not only for her job but because of who she was. I love that she had such compassion.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. I plan to read more books by this author in the future. She wrote this earth bound books with such amazing detail and great uniqueness that I hope to see what she could do with more paranormal plots. 5 stars #2OCCJD
