And similarly, artists desire to finally 'meet the spectators': to let them speak, get into a dialogue with them, invite them to involve themselves in pursuing the performance.

Jan Sowa (ur. 1976) – studiował filologię polską, psychologię i filozofię na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim w Krakowie oraz na Uniwersytecie Paryż VIII w Saint-Denis. Doktor socjologii, pracownik naukowy Katedry Kultury Współczesnej UJ. Jest autorem około stu tekstów opublikowanych w Polsce i zagranicą oraz dwóch książek: Sezon w teatrze lalek i inne eseje (2003) i Ciesz się, późny wnuku. Kolonializm, globalizacja i demokracja radykalna (2007).
