Where to Hide
Join the Top of the Wardrobe Gang, as they enjoy a well-earned break from book-writing, and a game of Hide and Seek!
Burton Bear's counting.

Odd Sock - the youngest member of the gang - has fun showing you her favorite hiding places.
The only problem with being so small is that there are SO MANY places you can hide! Deciding which one to choose can be tiring and tricky. Where Odd Sock finally hides herself may be a bit unexpected, but she has good reasons for her choice... Her next problem is how to find out if she really won or not!
This gentle rhyming story will help young children to think about choices and making decisions. The ending makes this a perfect, comforting bedtime read - but it is also an entertaining book for any time of the day.
Written in a smooth rhyming rhythm, this is a fun "read aloud" book for adults to enjoy reading to younger children. The story is brightly illustrated on every page, and the verses are short and simple enough for beginner readers to tackle.
Kids will enjoy seeing if they can spot where cuddly toy "Thingy" has hidden himself in all the pictures. For extra fun and learning, a few simple puzzles are included after the story.

Melinda Kinsman
52 books21 followersMelinda Kinsman lives on a small peninsular called The Wirral, in North West England. She loves climbing mountains and rock-climbing (both abroad, and in her local mountains of Snowdonia), and she has always had a soft-spot for cuddly toys!
As Melinda has to lie down a lot each day, due to health issues, she spends most of that time using her iPad to write and illustrate her books. (Drawing can be especially challenging, as she needs to keep the iPad steady by balancing it with one leg up in the air - much to the amusement of her family!)
Melinda originally wrote a book of poems for her 6 year old niece a few years ago, but never dreamt of trying to publish them, or of trying to illustrate them herself. The advent of ebooks and handheld tablets now makes self-publishing an exciting possibility for her!
The Top of the Wardrobe Gang series of books are credited to both Melinda and a motley crew of cuddly toy characters. This bunch of cuddly toys live on the Top of the Wardrobe - they like to call this the "penthouse suite"! They enjoy reading, and want to try writing their own books. Most of the cartoon gang characters are based on "real" members of Melinda's cuddly toy family, though some have had to have their names and appearances changed to allow their inclusion!

Another wonderful rhyming book from Melinda Kinsman. This story of finding the best place to hide is cute, colorful and funny. Just wait til you see the picture of Odd sock in a pile of laundry and try not to giggle. Kids will love this fun book. A must read.

Love these books
These books are a delight to read to children. Each book rhymes and teaches a different lessons. This one teaches how to play hid and seek and how it's not always easy to find a hiding place.
The puzzles and games at the back of the book are an e tea bonus.
The illustrations are colorful and I cannot wait to have my granddaughter read this book to me when I see her.

So sweet and entertaining
This book is so cute! I personally love rhyming stories as I have always felt it helps with learning. More often than not, it sticks in your mind better. What makes this book unique is not only the lessons being taught, but the encouragement to engage more. There are puzzles and games as well. I loved the last part before the extra stuff. Its a great little quick read for bed time!
