Claire is a Vampire, a Witch and a Mother... and she's finally met her match.
Digging into her heritage and the Medici witch known as Venna wasn't a good idea, because it came back to bite Claire in a bad way. Now, with the lives of everyone she loves on the line, Claire must bring her A-game, or lose one of them forever.
Her daughter, ex-husband, best friend, or one of her lovers; who will it be? Saving most of them is a long shot, even after combining her magical powers and Vamp abilities. But there's no way that Claire can save them all...
Witch Me (Blood Chord Series), by Alex Owens, is the third book (and last planned book) in her sexy adult fantasy suspense series. Be forewarned, this is not your daughter's paranormal.
Born in the Deep South and raised right over the Mason Dixon line, Alex grew up feeling unsure where she belonged. That is, until she met up with a traveling Freak Show one fine day. Now she celebrates the unusual and appreciates how interesting life can be when you (ahem) open yourself to unique situations.
Residing in coastal Virginia, Alex spends her days wrangling words and children, and on occasion a sassy cat (or three), a bull-headed Labrador, or her old, cantankerous horse. Her husband has figured out that toeing the line is easiest in the long run. He’s a smart man.
I truly loved this series. It started slow, but pulled me in. This writer is very creative. She stayed on point, but fired up the side stories. As for the hot, carnal moments, this writer is amazing! Her 3way and sexual endavors were so well written! She truly kept me enthralled. Recommended for 18 and up.
I didn't do reviews on the other books, but probably should had. They all are written very well. There was some misprints. But can be over looked. There is A lot of sexual scenes in it, (lis and hom). But over all the the story was great. I would recommend it to anyone over the age 18 who isn't offended by the sexual scenes
