A collection of essays, most of which read like they were written in a hurry. There are a few travel diary~like pieces that are interesting, superficial snapshots in time for various destinations, but you can probably find much better-written travel literature elsewhere. I thought there would be more detailed ruminations about how the author set up used bookstores with limited resources, but no, the pieces about the bookstores read rather flat and remote and filled with trite McLifeLessons (just do it, follow your dream, work out the details later, etc). A relaxing, short read that isn't a complete waste of time for, I imagine, mostly existing fans of the author.

A collection of essays on author’s journey in discovering sense of self and purpose after dropping out of high school; opening his bookstores; and a bit of travelogue. A bit plain to read to me.
