Not for me
Found several grammar errors. Plot too fast and events too quick. Descriptors of "ghost warrior" are not appealing. Didn't want to finish this book and it's only 61pages.

Virginia Downey was one of the first volunteers for the new breeding program that was starting off-world, now that the aliens had made their presence known. She didn’t even care if there was love or not; she just wanted stability in her life. But as she returned to her quarters, the ship gave a violent shudder. They were under attack! The women were removed to another ship to be sold to a third party – all except Virginia! The dreaded Ghost Warrior had decided to keep her for himself! She wasn’t aware that the woman organizing the program had hand-picked her as mate for her brother, and had promised she could keep all the women safe. The pirate laughed that he would take this one for himself, and would leave the breeding program organizer to justify what just happened.
In his room, she tried to attack him with a scalpel she found on a shelf. He sent her to the brig for a few days to learn restraint. When she was taken out of her cell by a woman guard, she found herself in a training room filled with fighting dragons. The Ghost Warrior, Vai, flew down to her and started instructing her on how to fight.
Later, she came to his door and told him how angry she was that he was selling the women. He didn’t see how it was different than their original plans to find a mate. The end result would be the same? But it wouldn’t, she told him. It was not their choice. So he immediately changed course to drop them off and let them return to their chosen mates. She was shocked at his compliance! He felt bad that she still feared him and did not trust him. Yet things were changing for her. She was seeing a different side of him. Was being his mate something she may want after all? Or did she still need to get away from her captor? How did she feel about him now? How did he feel about her – was it still just revenge that he needed?
This was a really good book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. It certainly exceeded my expectations! I definitely recommend it.

Good, short read. I liked Vai and his story, he was the bread and butter of the story for me.

Just an FYI this book ends at around 9%. It was a decent read but the next story in this book left me wanting so I couldn't finish it. This is a VERY quick read about 50 pages or so to guess. Kind of good but didn't have a lot of details because it was such a quick read. Good lunch break read.

Virginia had signed up to join an alien breeding program. She had been specifically match with the brother of Pirraeq the scientist in charge of the breeding program. On her way to meet her future mate, her ship is overtaken by rogue pirates led by Vai the Ghost Warrior. Vai claims Virginia as his and plans to sell the rest of the human women. Vai wants revenge on Pirraeq who killed two of his siblings in her experiments. Virginia is frightened but tries to make the best of her situation. Vai at first saw Virginia as a tool in his revenge plot but as he gets to know her, he begins to have more feelings for her.
Will Vai do his best to help Virginia and the human woman or will he be blinded in his need for revenge? Will Pirraeq's eveil experiments be stopped? This is a short read but the book has lots of bonus materials. I voluntarily read a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Alien dragons got it goin' on.
Being kidnapped by an alien would definitely qualify as a bad day. When said alien decides you're his, well that just takes scary oppression to a whole new level. Thankfully for Virginia, her kidnapping dragon mercenary Vai has a decent side that includes honor. Doesn't hurt that he has a hard body and wants to show her just what he can do with it. Being stuck in the middle of a politically charged alien society with deadly consequences for breaking the rules is a threat to Virginia's survival. Luckily, she has a gorgeous, badass dragon that plans to protect her at all costs.

This is a very short story, but it was awesome. Could not put down. Virginia is going to another planet to mate with an alien, so she can get away from her life on earth. Via is trying to bring Down Piraeq for killing his siblings. He takes Vai and the action does not stop. It keeps going you just don't know what will happen next. Great read! I received a arc copy for my honest review

Enjoyed
I had not read anything from the series but I'm glad I did. Beginning to end was interesting and very enjoyable. Please read the whole series. I just bought the other 2 books in the series, that I know of. I will read them and no doubt resubmit this again

A Kidnaping to A Rescue
Really fun and sweet story. The plot was unique and engaging. The Ghost Warrior was much more than a pirate and Virginia learns that in the best way possible.

I loved and enjoyed this one very much. Very well written. I love this authors books. It kept my attention and i hated to see it end. It is exciting, fun, suspenseful. What a surprise and a mess it turns out to be. I recommend this highly. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Virginia is among the first group of women volunteers for the 'breeding program' with the incredibly attractive Stlozyn, a dragon shifter alien race. The spaceship comes under attack and a dragon takes Virginia onto another ship with the rest of the Earth women. Vai, the Ghost Warrior, informs the women that they are to be sold to a third-party breeding matchmaker. Except for the stunning Virgina, who he's going to keep as his mate. Vai blames Pirræq for the deaths of his brother and sister and feels victorious at stealing the woman handpicked by Pirræq to be her brother Hud's mate. This was a great little read, it is an interesting story the characters were enjoyable and the plot is well written and keeps you interested from start to finish, It is a shifter alien romance and if you enjoy a nice sweet shifter romance with a good storyline then I am sure you will enjoy this book. it is a relatively quick read a few hours good for a quiet evening.

I received this story for an honest review but accidently deleted it. So I went and bought my own copy. And boy am i glad i did.
Its a great short dragon shifter story. With bonuses that surprised me. Those were fun to!

This is actually a good story, I thought it was going to be a 'fluff read' but it has a really good plot and the couple are interesting and although they feel an attraction it takes time and getting to know each other to get together.

I liked this book more than I thought I would. The hero is looking to avenge his younger siblings who were killed in illegal experiments and he kidnaps the heroine as part of his plan. She helps him. They live hea.

There was no progression in relationship development. The heroine went from cold to hot in 60 seconds flat - from hating to liking and wanting to jump the Hero. DNF at that point.
