A Buck Buchanon Adventure

Series one: Book Three

Another exciting adventure that
you won't want to put down!

Buck didn't need the promotion.
What he got was chaos, an internal spy, and treacherous traitors.

Captain Buck Buchanon, Special Operations, was never more surprised. After he arrived at Fort Bragg for what he thought was mere medical formality before he was approved to return to active duty couldn't have been more wrong.

He was confronted by a Brigadier General, who was posing as a military Doctor, and who was almost able to push him to become physical. Then, he was bluntly informed that his every move had been watched and dissected since he had been exonerated at his Military Court-Martial.

To add to his surprise, he found himself meeting The National Security Adviser, and a Two Star General who had been watching his reactions to the phony Doctor from security monitors in an adjoining room.

To make his day even stranger, he was not only promoted to Lieutenant Colonel but was charged with the responsibility of eradicating an influx of highly trained terrorist groups that seemed to be beyond the capabilities of Homeland Security.

His meeting with several of his team members who had been already selected for his team, was unceremoniously interrupted when his long time friend and former Platoon Sergeant, Rev. Chappie Devins wearing the insignia of a Major in Special Operations barged into the room. Chappie had been recruited, without his knowledge, to act as his Second-In-Command.

And, even more disturbing was the unexpected strafing and bombing attack of their mission planning meeting by two attack helicopters flying in low out of radar detection.
Right from the get go of his new mission, Buck and his team were hounded and attacked no matter where they tried to relocate and set up operations.
After consistent and potentially deadly problems occurring one after the other, Buck was forced to ask burning questions he would rather not have had to think about.
Buck not only discovered a a mole within the team but a traitor at the highest levels of the military establishment.
Throughout “Devil's Brigade” Buck's ingenuity, resolve, determination and command decisions are severely tested.
