Her legal machinations were causing his legal team to look like they were chasing their tails and her arguments caused delays in his schedule. Bryce Steele wanted these issues out of the way immediately. The best way to forge ahead was a face to face meeting. But Bryce hadn’t realized that the brilliant legal mind was attached to a woman with a luscious figure and fiery red hair…being held up by four, no five pencils! He was floored…and then entranced.
Quinn hated the man! Bryce Steele represented everything that was wrong with the world – too wealthy, too arrogant and unconcerned with people who were just trying to make a living. She wasn’t going to let him get away with tearing down a whole neighborhood just so he could put up one of his massive monstrosities. Someone had to stand up to the man – she was just the woman for the job!
Until he showed up in her office and Quinn realized that he was over a foot taller than her and, even worse, made her heart race.
No, she couldn’t allow that to get in the way of her job! Quinn was determined to ignore the growing attraction between them and focus only on stopping him, on protecting her clients.
So who was going to stop her from falling for the charming rogue?

This is the introduction into the Steele brothers series and it is their parents story.Enjoyed the hero, but this heroine, she was a pia!!!! 3.5stars because of the heroine otherwise would have been a strong4.5.
"Resisting his Seduction" is a well written, banter filled, insta love story of Quinn and Bryce. Both are lawyers, and while Quinn works for a non profit organization- The Legal Aid Group, Bryce Steele is the incharge of a multi million dollar company, the Steele Industries. A conflict of interest makes them meet, after which he relentlessly pursues her until she gives in. It was an overall good and sweet story. I wasn't a fan of the heroine, as she came out as indecisive, naive and gullible and I felt bad for Bryce at times. I however did enjoy the sups fertile last few chapters. and I give it extra half star for that as it made me smile. Safe 3.25/5 PS. OMG THE SERIES IS ABOUT THEIR KIDS?! SOOOO EXCITED!!!
Omg. Why do authors feel the need to write sassy, attitude riddled heroines? Why do they have to be either borderline mean or flat out mean?
I could not read any further than the first chapter. Quinn is rude, disrespectful and mouthy. She’s also dumb. The ideals she has for the buildings Bryce wants to tear down are so unrealistic, and frankly, make her sound like her head isn’t on right. She doesn’t sound smart, rather fanciful. He makes very GOOD and VALID reasons why his company is going to tear down the buildings and she stubbornly refuses to see reason. That kind of willfulness doesn’t come off as strong, rather as just pure dumb stubbornness for the sake of being stubborn.
Also, it’s poorly written. Lennox is constantly switching between characters so we are getting whiplash going from one POV to the next.
I was not impressed.
The characters are not interesting, the writing was not good, and the plot of the story was already making me roll my eyes.
Quinn is the reason I’ve stopped reading MF romances. Authors love to make the women appear strong when all they’ve really done is make them bitches (the bad kind). Yet the man is expected to treat her like a princess. Why can’t she treat him like a prince then?
3 1/2 Stars Overall book: * Hero fall in love instantly * Third quarter of the book it’s a bit draggy when the author try to set up new characters for the following books for this series.
Hero : Alpha : 4 Expressive of his feelings : 5 * Hero acknowledge his love for the heroine. * Wanted to get married immediately * Hero going after or courting the heroine
Heroine : Independent : 4 Stubborn : 4.5 * Don’t really like some of her characters in the book. She always is angry or shouting with the hero.

I was not a fan of this book. Quinn was incredibly unlikable, and for an adult woman who is supposedly a very knowledgable and successful lawyer, she's a damn idiot. Majority of the book is from her perspective so we don't get to see much of Bryce other than a couple paragraphs thrown in here and there, maybe an entire chapter if you get lucky. I'm also really, really tired of these virginal, or near virginal, heroines. I understand that women like that do exist, and there's nothing wrong with that, but I absolutely HATE it when it's used as away to show that the heroine is a good person; as if the number of people she has or hasn't had sex with determines her value as a person. It's gross, and it's insulting.
At the beginning I was not too thrilled about this book. So I read the first chapter and moved on to the other Steele stories. When I read Logan’s book, I realized that this book was about his parents and I had to finish it. So I read the remaining chapters. And lo and behold I liked it. My favorite part in this book is every time Quinn got pregnant and hoped for a daughter and blamed Bryce for getting her pregnant. It was funny. Towards the end he promises her that they will have female pets and it was quite cute. Ofcourse,....the pet dogs were also male. Quinn’s life did not go as planned but it was wonderful. I can see where Bryce’s sons get they single mindedness and persistence from. One of the funny sections: Bryce!” she yelled, storming out of the bathroom in search of her too-charming, too-virile, too-irritating, and most-likely-dead husband. Or he will be dead as soon as she murdered him.
Love the humor, chemistry and drama Elizabeth Lennox creates in all of her books. It gives them a depth that most romance novels lack. What I don't understand is why authors have to create male characters that are so arrogant and egotistical. I hate that, and it has been my reading experience that most authors of romance novels create the main male characters out to be bullies. Where is the respect that the female characters should garner? I mean, can't you make the seduction to be less forceful and more...romantic? Why does the man have to TELL the female character how things are going to go all the time and have such a complete disregard for what the female wants, needs, desires? The men rarely, if ever, listen to the females and tend to force the women to their way of thinking, whether they want to or not. Not cool.
From beginning to end, I couldn’t get enough of this story..Quinn and Bryce were so funny together and Quinn was such a funny/ quirky character...she was fierce and assertive and then soft and goofy..I can’t explain it.😃 God love Bryce for his patience and having the wherewithal to know exactly how Quinn felt or what she was hiding at any given moment. He avoided so many obstacles by anticipating the various facets of her personality. That made their connection even better. They were passionate in and out of bed. The prolonged ending to the book was the best.
Bryce Steele (35) fell in love at the first sight of Quinn (28). She was the lawyer against his company which planned to take over the neighbourhood she stayed in. He relentlessly sent her gifts and she refused him as long as she could. He patiently waited to make love to him after the negotiation deals with the residents finished. And he took her to bed and the next day proposed to her. Only 1 small incident when a scammer accused Bryce company of evacuating her without compensation. Quinn was enraged but Bryce calmly explained the truth. They had 4 boys, Zeke, Teague and twins boys.

Another new series that if it continues like this first book which set up the Steele family this will be another winner. In this book we are introduced to Bryce Steele and Quinn. They begin as opponents who quickly become adversaries. This book sets up the relationship between the two of them and then the. Roth of their sons. The next books each are about their sons! Can't wait to see what happens.
Another great book by a favourite author of mine. Although I know that the story will have a HEA ending, I love watching the main characters work through various relationship issues before acknowledging their feelings for one another. Also, Lennox has a perfect formula for her Heroes - attractive, successful, protective, possessive, caring, and very affectionate. Need to read the next book in this series.
Fanfreakingtastic read. The characters in this story turn out to be the parents is the Steele brothers series. And holy hotness it makes you read on and on. Funny, dramatic, sexy, and predictable at times but in a good way. Definitely angst filled. Ms. Lennox keep them coming I look forward to the rest.
Love this story! Elizabeth is a favorite author of mine. She is a healthy happy author with some enemies to lovers and some just normal battle of the sexes. But she writes seduction like few others. His seduction Is good clean fun. Like all the characters and look forward to the rest of the series.
I loved this book and I had a good laugh too, it was very amusing and I couldn't put it down till I finished it so I am looking forward to the rest of the series.
I laughed and cried through this book. I couldn't put it down! There was so much happening! Elizabeth knows how to put a story together. Keep on going Elizabeth!
I enjoyed reading this book because it showed both characters as being strong yet respectful of each other. The stubbornness and humour made them seem realistic and also a fantasy.
Quinn is a fiery attorney, who doesn't back down. Bryce is an alpha who always gets his way. These two burn up the pages in Resisting His Seduction. Fast fun read
Hot and steamy in places, seduction to floor even the hardest of hearts, sign me up, just a month and I'd be a happy lady. She fights tough and he just can't resist her.
