Hindsight is 20/20
Heidi is drowning in her dedication and debt. She has little choice in her next steps, but she doesn't shy away from a challenge. She is also the kind of person to take the most direct route in hopes of arriving to a solution faster.
Vanessa is hiding in the shadows. She would rather be in the background of her family's company than to stand up to her tyrannical brother. Vanessa also hates drama, and voluntarily avoids/rejects confrontation. Her own drive to stay out of trouble often leads to selfishness in hopes of self-preservation.
I can't really say much. Both characters acted before really considering anyone, or anything else, most times. Even side characters were placing themselves before others. I wouldn't have guessed it since the plot is about saving a charity. All characters presented, save for Natalie, Kay and Christina, seemed highly irrational.
They did indeed look back and acknowledge their mistakes though. For me, they did it too many times. Usually there's one big blunder, but these ladies just kept stepping in it. I do respect the fact it broke the mold of their being one big argument/misunderstanding... but yeah. It made me wonder if I might actually prefer just one.
Christina was a sweetheart, and I'm interested in Natalie's story. I didn't want to spoil anything, and I hope I didn't. This is a HEA.
