Just what I was looking for
I'm a 22 year old kid whose always been interested in the stock market. This book cleared up a lot of questions and made me feel confident in starting to invest. I just started my first broker account today and plan on buying my first stock tomorrow. The book was easy to grasp, interesting and I'm happy with the purchase. Thanks John!

Fascinating and informative
As someone who knows nothing at all about stocks and the stock market, this book explained everything perfectly. I read the book in one sitting and it was very interesting. I now have a basic grasp on stock investing and selling and learned way more than I thought I could in such a short amount of time. Would highly recommend for people like me that know nothing about this stuff!

Honestly, you can learn basics like how to buy and sell by a simple google search. Nothing ground breaking in this book. Also, don't let the "Plus: Simple ways to pick winners" fool you. The author does not offer suggestions but steers you to sites you can purchase newsletters or find free newsletters for guidance. Kind of disappointed in this purchase but it would be OK for someone who has zero knowledge of the stock market (ie - like what a ticker symbol is, etc.)

Awesome book
This is the type of book I've been looking for. I appreciate the explanation of how to read the charts and explanations of symbols. It feels less intimidating and I feel more confident, excited and look forward to investing in a stock or two. I'll definitely will be reading more books by Mr. Roberts.

This is a GREAT book for anyone looking to get into investing in the stock market. I've read a few other books over the years but none of them have been as straightforward as this one. This is a VERY easy and short read. One you can read in a day. However there is a wealth of knowledge covered. It definitely gave me more confidence to start investing.

Very easy to understand, this will be a book that I will
Look over several times, honestly it’s a 5 star book in regards to the information. I gave it 4 stars bc there’s parts where the text wrap around that make it difficult to understand unless you read it twice. I’ve recommended this book to several people already

The alphabets of stock investing
Simplicity is the strength of this book, meant only for infants and toddlers in the stock market. Not for the experienced, good book to start off with even though the context is us stock market, you will be able to relate to your country exchange as the stock trading concept is common across the world.

A great introduction for people who start from zero.
Not because of its comprehensiveness, but because it explains the essentials in a concise, easy to read way.
It is not a polished book and was likely never intended for the mass market, but it is still helpful.
It will not necessarily make you confident enough to just start investing but to pick up the next book and open a trading account.

Excellent book for beginners. For the most part it is written in everyday terms. By necessity the language of investing has its unique terminology, the author was explained these in simple to understand words. The book had a good rhythm builds on each chapter. What I liked most was the references available for further leaning.

A Good starting point for people interested, but failed to see any really great examples or guides on getting started. Overall it was worth the $0.99 spent but not really pleased with it as a guide at all.

I was a total beginner! Now, not so much!
