The only thing better than meeting the man of your dreams is finding out he comes in plural.

Penny
When Logan hands me his number in a crowded bar and then disappears back into the shadows like a superhero, I feel like I've finally met my match.
He’s not only charismatic, mysterious and mind-blowingly sexy - which would be enough already on its own - he’s also a real life alpha, which makes him absolutely perfect in every way for me.
I'm so spellbound by Logan, I'm convinced his perfection can’t be improved upon, right up until I meet his identical twin brother, Jack, and my mind gets blown for real.
I can’t believe that not only do these two people exist, not only do they both seem perfect for me in completely different ways, not only do they seem to want me as much as I do them, they are also just as happy to share.
I've spent so many years fantasizing about this kind of thing I've lost count, and now that it’s here, I can hardly believe my luck.
That’s right before my mom drops a bombshell, of course, and fate stabs me in the ass with his sharpened sword.
Logan and Jack are perfect in every single way but one.
They’re about to become my stepbrothers.

This is a full length steamy romance novel with a very happy ending and absolutely no cheating.

As a special thank you, I have included two additional bonus books: DONKEY and SWOLLEN.

I really liked this the first time I read it maybe four years ago, but that was when I first started reading romance and smut. Nowadays I seem to have much higher standards and expectations, so this fell much shorter on the re-read. It wasn't terrible, but I didn't like what I was able to get through because it felt like a chore.

The heroine's experience with OCD was charming in a way, but it quickly became tedious to read about. There were also too many inner monologues to trudge through that I ended up skimming.

Also, just the writing structure of the first sex scene, which is where I stopped, was tiresome just looking at it. When I get to a sex scene, I want to be so into it that I'm not worried about why there are several long paragraphs coming up. Something about seeing those larger blocks of writing just ruins the fluidity of what should be a very forward-moving, engaging scene.

There needs to be a balance of dialogue and description to keep the reader so into the scene that they're not thinking about how long it'll take to get through the longer paragraphs coming up. And that goes for sex scenes *and* the rest of the story. If this got cleaned up a bit, I'd give it another try.

OMG... The first half of this book was so funny, I was crying while howling with laughter. Penny has OCD, and though I don't find the condition a laughing matter, Penny's exploits with it and her friend, Alice's understand of her condition were hilarious to me. Like knowing what Penny will do when she goes to leave a building. Alice will walk out the door, then lean agains the building in anticipation of Penny's need to go back in and look around for anything she may have possibly left behind.

The relationship between Penny and her mother was very sweet. Though I completely understand loosing the mystic of what you think of your parent as you grow older. I love how Penny and Katie just want the best for each other how ever that may come about.

Jack and Logan are a dream. Two completely different halves of the same guy. What more could a girl ask for? LOL

Cute and fast read. Fun!

A half and half story

The first part of the story was so disappointing that I almost gave up and stopped reading. Fortunately I didn’t and the second half was worth the perseverance. The tale of Shadowheart was so funny I decided I had to finish the story.

poorly written and boring... I don't know about what made everybody rate this book so highly but the result for me it was disappointing and depressing and weird. I finished being frustrated for wasting my time.

DNF for now, so no stars.

Stopped at 20%. Just don’t like the heroine. I don’t mind quirks, but she’s just not likeable. And neither is this highly contrived storyline. Which is well written...so I could have overlooked all the coincidences...except the setting really needs to be London. Not New York.

One of my biggest peeves is American characters using Britishisms. It sounds affected. And at 20% I’d tagged about 14. We don’t say torch. It’s flashlight. Maybe the archaeologist would use metric, but most normal Americans do not. Americans only know Punch & Judy if they’ve traveled to the UK - and maybe not even then. Here are some more:

“...table we were both sat at...”

Zebra crossing

Pyjamas should be pajamas

Incidentally, the famous detective written by Agatha Christie is Poirot, not Poiret.

Americans don’t say we are gutted.

In America, one is on a team, not in a team.

We also don’t say “the other way round” - it’s around.

And lastly, the comma goes inside the quotation mark. Inside America.

Well, there you have it. And this isn’t that far into the story, so I could have put up with it. It’s right in one of my fave genres. And like I said it is well written. It’s just too well written. While I agreed with most of the ad hominem soliloquies, and they did provide cover for the aforementioned comma/quotation mix ups (no dialogue), it was too much. Make your point that she has a rich albeit in need of therapy imaginative inner life, and *move* on. What I’m going to remember from this book are the two even as fuck water glasses. I should be remembering the story, and the guys.

My head hurt. I did laugh at some of Penny's back and forth with Alice. But this was hard to read with all the spiraling thoughts and drift offs to fantasy land day dreams. I wasn't sure if I was in the real or the fantasy most of the time.
Landon and Jack were wonderful and the fact the accepted Penny, OCD and all.
BUT, what happened to her new comic that she started after the first date with the twins?
Jack asked her about what she had done with her weekend and she told him she started a new series but wasn't ready to show him yet but that she would. Since she drew the twins and herself (sasha) I had expected she would reveal the story and it help lead to the HEA. Plus, Landon hadn't seen her drawings yet and there was no further mention of him getting to learn of Sasha.
The wedding was funny - especially with Landon mouthing 'I want you more now' to add the taboo of stepbrother to the mix. And the errant ghost moaning to scare the children.
The book had it moments but I've read better from the author.

The Best Stephanie Brother Book

This is the best of Stephanie's books I've ever read as far as the storytelling, character development, and character arcs go. However, as with all her books, there are so many grammatical errors it's flat out astounding! I actually think this one had the most of any of her books. Her editor really needs to be fired because they're clearly asleep on the job or are just flat out incompetent. One thing that I think could've made the book better is if Stephanie had realized she was writing American characters who lived in America and actually had them speak like Americans and not Brits. The amount of British idioms, British spellings, words, and standards was unacceptable if you want us to think we're reading about Americans. It wouldn't take much effort to research to get this detail right. I guess it's not too surprising though, given the rampant grammatical errors she puts up with; attention to detail clearly isn't something she cares about and I guess she thinks her readers aren't worth making the experience authentic.

2 Hot Twin Stepbrothers To Play With

Nobody tell a ménage tale like Stephanie Brother. She makes it sound so appealing, you want to try it yourself. In one of her ménage books, the sex is twice as hot, the men are twice as sexy, the woman gets twice the attention and twice the orgasms, you get twice the fun, twice the passion, twice the love. Better than a double scoop of ice cream at Baskin Robins!

Penny has been fantasizing about being with 2 men at once for quite some time and then one night she meets Mr. Perfect (Logan) and discovers he has an identical twin brother (Jack). Dreams do come true! Everything is wonderful until the bottom falls out of her world. Penny learns that her mother is marrying the twins father! Does the universe hate her? Would fate really bring the 2 most perfect, in every way, men into Penny's life just to rip them away from her? Is there a way for them to still be together?

Different

Don't know how to write this review as Obsession: A Twin Menage Romance is completely and totally different than any other taboo romance, I have ever read. And I should say it's also unique, interesting and a bit bizarre .

The heroine has OCD , creates a fantasy world in her mind, it's outspoken, isn't shy or virgin ; right there , all that tells you this book isn't your typical taboo romance. In one point I even forgot , I was reading a stepbrother romance as they become " family" when the twin heroes and the heroine are 25 years old and already are in a relationship before parents get married.

I liked the book but didn't blew me away . It is a 3.5 Stars read.

This was an excellent story. Penny suffers from OCD and other "quirky" behavioral issues. A need to leave erotic drawings on walls is just one of her "quirks". An obsession with things coming in 2's is another. Good thing she meets identical twins Logan and Jack. Just as things get going between these three, they find out that Penny's Mom is going to marry the twin's Father. Will they continue as a triad or stop seeing each other? Read to find out. What I really liked about this story was the fact all three were a little older and more mature instead of barely legal.

Fantastic imagination

Penny has some serious issues. She does what she must to bet by in life but most people wouldn't understand her ticks. On a night out she gets a number for her Prince Valiant but loses it. Then days later meets her mother's boyfriend who gets her a job interview. The interview is with the twin of her Prince Valiant. One of Penny's tick is things of two now her fantasy can come true. Okay so Penny was weird but the author was so able to make that work to her advantage.

Penny is obsessed with things in pairs. She has rituals about doing things a certain way. And when she meets Logan she has no idea how to find him again, but fate intervenes and she not only finds him, but also his brother Jack. Having two identically hot men is just right up Penny's alley. Her quirky OCD habits, Logan and Jack's adoration of her, and their all around chemistry really burned up the pages. I really enjoyed this book, and I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of it.

It was an "okay" story for me. The story is clear, interesting, and most especially hot. But it was too rushed and the ending is cut-short. I wish it could have been more, because the relationship is too fast-paced leading to sex scenes even before falling in love with each other, making it look like Penny is an easy girl. But then, it's what makes the whole story hot. It was still a good book to read. ☺

This is my first book to read that had OCD and twins. Logan and Jack are one of a kind in my opinion. They are perfect for Penny in more ways than one. These three chemistry is highly combustible and very hot. I loved the ending. If you haven't read this book, you need too. I highly recommend this book.

I like how "flawed" Penny is. As she has her OCD issues throughout the entire book, the people who care about her don't care that she has the issues and just deal with it very matter-of-factly. I like the characters and how they fit together. Both brothers just mesh with her. Well done! It does have one issue--the book is set in the US, but there is a lot of British language style in here.

A perfectly crazy break from the norm!

Oh the normal is all accounted for, plenty of steamy passion, a merging , anxiety and intrigue. The surprisingly great difference? The delivery. A beautiful story told by a very unusual lady, two men of mirror image same yet different sides of a coin, and your perfect best friend, make this book a perfect read!

Ms. OCD

Penny is the most adorable, eccentric, creative OCD artist and nerd girl ever!!! She’s obsessed with things in twos. So when she meets identical twins, Jack and Logan, her world, and her heart, feel complete. Which becomes a little tricky when they’re about to become step siblings. So cute, sexy, and silly!

Super Duper

Penny and her twins are funny cute. These guys are kinda different. Logan the archeologist doesn't seem like much of an archeologist really. He's more of a joker, while Jack is a little more serious about his work, until Penny. Pretty good story.

Urgh...just No!

I tried, I really tried...
Heroine was pathetic in her OCD. She's a mess!
I just couldn't continue past her getting fired.
Sorry couldn't stick it through till the end. And I didn't even get to the menage part.

Not one of my favorites from Stephanie Brother. It was quite hard to read and I almost DNF but I pushed through. I did laugh at some of Penny's imaginative thoughts but I did find it a bit harder to read than her other books and I love her other books.

Started out boring.

The first 40% of the book was boring and hard to read. Found myself skipping over some paragraphs. Once it got past the burying part then it took off.
