Some desires are better left uncovered…

Erik Bertinelli is the son of the vilest mob boss in all of New York’s underbelly. He’s the enforcer, the hitman for the syndicate, and the type of guy who doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty. His hideaway is as unconventional as they come… the New York Public Library.

With a thirst for knowledge and a grand getaway at his fingertips, he loses himself daily in the dusty tales of old. Life is too f*cked up most days of the week. Peace would be beyond welcomed.

Grace Adams desires more than anything to live fully alive, and yet, she’s doing just the opposite of that. She’s a librarian at the New York Public Library and spends her days wishing like hell that she could disappear into one of the romance novels she reads.

With an imagination that would shock her family and friends, she keeps to herself and lives in the colorful parts of her mind - alone. Untapped.

When the same deliciously dangerous alpha male keeps showing up between the bookshelves, her daydreams quickly dive into passion that feels too good to be true. The kind that could burn anyone involved. The kind she would do anything for.

Maybe even kill…

Hey there. I'm Weston.

Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.

I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, my daughter, two dogs, three cats, and a turtle.

Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.

You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.

Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.

This has been a really nerve-wracking read, dynamic action erotic drama that would have your heart pumping like crazy. I cannot explicitly describe how this book got me hook from start to finish. It took me a lot of willpower to get away from this book. Seriously.

The main male protagonist isn't the kind of book boyfriend you would want to admire nor get involved with. A member of a Mafia clan, ruthless, deadly, monstrous, that's Erik Bertinelli for you. But Grace Adams wasn't at all perturbed by such characteristics. Dressed like an old librarian should be, Grace captured the eyes and heart of the Mafia assassin and it was just a matter of time before he defied all odds and put a bullet to the one that made him suffer his whole life.

Erik and Grace's relationship was doomed right from the beginning. The head of the Mafia made sure of that. It was really a surprise to me that I ended up liking the story, given the fact that I am really not into organized crime stories. Well, the only other crime syndicate novel I've read before was TOXIC, which was the first book in this same series. {Reviewed here}.. The brutality of Mafia and all other syndicates oftentimes scared me. But Weston Parker made this story quite fascinating and mind-blowing. I was shocked when I got to finish reading the book in one night.  Now I cannot wait to read what happens next to the doomed lovers! Yay!

Ok!! So--- I felt like I should have had a drum roll when flipping to page one of this book! Man the anticipation of Erik's story! I was a HUGE fan of the first book Toxic which I have read now three times in waiting for this one!
So in this beast of book Erik cannot get over his obsession with the fair librarian Grace. He knows that his life within the syndicate is deadly for her, but the pull between the two of them is something they both cannot ignore, no matter how hard they try. Demons of the past and the present are about to intervene. Erik knew this would happen. Grace thought she could handle it. These two are about to test their abilities as humans and hopefully, come out on the other side.
Untapped: was a devilishly crafted masterpiece! This dark, gritty tale was raw and full of emotional ups and downs, I found myself feeling the emotions right along with these characters. Still, it gave us a humors witty side- with copious amounts fan my face hotness. I loved every minute of this crazy train ride! It was worth the wait! I know I will be read this again soon!! I wish I could give this more than 5 Stars!

It went too far and he no trigger warning

I've read difficult and darker things before, but the main male character being okay with what Kane did was terrible and made me lose interest in this book because I can't care about a character that cruel.

There's outside the relationship sex, which is worse in this case because it happens after Erik already knows Grace. He knows she likes him at this point, too, so it's almost as bad cheating. He chooses to be with someone else that way over doing the same with Grace. And he performs oral sex on the random slut in his dad's mansion. This is disgusting. He has no idea where that has been, and oral sex is extremely intimate. It's putting your mouth on someone else's genitalia. It's not for casual sex, and he really shouldn't be doing it with someone when he was wanting someone else. It was nasty and disturbing. The summary says there's an HEA and no cheating, but there needs to be a warning about outside the relationship sex. This doesn't bother some people, but I know it bothers a lot of people. Other authors have such warnings and it would be nice if all did.

The attack of the older lady actually being a scene was unnecessary, and it was just overall disgusting and took the book too far. Fine, he's a bad guy. But seriously, did that need to be there? I see no warning of this. I see a warning of bad language, sexual scenes, and naughty boys. I don't see anything about a sexual attack warning or trigger warning. Even if such a thing needs to be in the book, okay, I get it. But, there needs to be a trigger warning. I know this stuff happens and there's probably a reason it's in this book, but please include trigger warnings for those who have gone through similar attacks so we can avoid the book or at least go into it knowing what we're getting into.

Wow. Just WOW. I love Weston Parker's books. Toxic was one of my favorites and Untapped is right there with it. I felt like I needed to have a cigarette after reading and I have never smoked. The chemistry between Grace and Erik is undeniable and has been ever since the first book. Grace is the goody goody librarian that wants to lose her virginity but not just to anyone, only to Erik. Erik is the bad boy mafia son who kills for a living. Grace knows what he does and still wants to be with him. Love has a funny way of looking the other way. Will they make this work? Can they love each other with all of the danger that surrounds Erik? You are going to have to read to find out. You will not be able to put the book down once you start, so make sure you have the time to finish it. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.

Grace is the perfect "nerdy/naughty" librarian. She has lived her whole life shamed by her mother. So she hasn't let herself open up to anyone, ever. Until she notices Erik at the library. She knows that he is all wrong and very dangerous. It doesn't stop the undeniable draw that they have towards each other. Erik is the hitman for his dad's syndicate. He's dark and very dangerous. Grace captures his attention and his heart. He knows that he should walk away, but he can't. She's calm and he's the storm. They are destined to be torn apart by his life, by his father. Can they survive the life that he was born into? If you like dark romance, bad boy/virgin, the troubled soul, then you'll love this book. I received an ARC to voluntarily read/review this book.

Erik and Grace are so different. Erik is the son of the mob boss and his hitman. Grace is a librarian who wears frumpy clothes so no one will notice her. Untapped is Weston Parker's second book and is exceptionally well written. He did such an amazing job writing the deceit and manipulation in this book. You feel for the characters and understand what they go through. You definitely need to read this fast pace mafia bad boy romance. I loved the characters Erik, Grace, Nate, Jenna and Cole. I can't wait for the next book from Weston. I voluntarily received this book to review for my honest opinion.

Raw, Gritty and Dark

This story was gut wrenching and left me feeling beat up from the emotional roller coaster it took you on. Erik tried to resist Grace but her innocence drew him in even more. Once she spent time with him and eventually gave up her v-card to him, she was in too deep to back down. There was no way Erik’s past could be escaped. He was born into the syndicate and there was no leaving it or changing the way things were done. Grace had accepted what this meant when she fell in love with him. But it was still hard for Erik to let her in because he feared for her safety. Gripping action and tension kept the story moving quickly. It was hard to put down.

I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.

4.5 stars awarded. I had been waiting for Eric's story since I finished Toxic. He was still ultra hot, I got to see the killer, as in murderer, side of him so much more in this book. On the fence about how I feel about this, but crystal clear about him and Grace, loved them together! Was very surprised at his dad's thoughts and actions. (Hey, could Westin be setting us up for a prequel)? Would have loved more background on Grace. She has such a complex character profile and I would love to see what the heck her family is all about. Congrats, again, Weston on producing an entertaining read that pulled me in.

Wow! This book is a rollercoaster ride of emotions from beginning to end. Erik and Grace are from two different walks of life. Erik, an enforcer, he’s corrupt, cold-hearted monster and finds himself lost in books at the library where Grace works. The chemistry between them is smoking hot, but Erik is a dangerous man, should Grace get involved with him? Grace knows who and what he is, but he’s intriguing to her and she can’t help herself, but will it be her downfall? Can these two survive the obstacles about to come their way? I guess you will need to read to find out!! Loved the book, I received an advanced copy to review.

I read this book because it was at the end of the Deepest Desire book. Deepest Desire was the first book I read by this author and I loved the H. Good guy, wanting to do the right thing, blah blah blah. So I like a good librarian h book and tried Untapped. Holy cow this is was nothing like Deepest Desire. I did not swoon over the H or any other character in the book. Kinda felt bad for him near the end but this was not for me.

OMG! What a book! I have waited anxiously for this book ever since I read Toxic and I was not disappointed. Eric & Grace are two characters that are complex, developed and perfect for each other. The book had some twists in it that I did not see coming. I would love to see Eric's right hand man and the cop that his father assigned to follow him get their own stories. I will definitely be rereading this book. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.

Good book!

I have been in a three week book funk. You know the kind...you start a book and can't finish. Well, this book, this author definitely changed that for me. It was a good book, with great storyline. The only thing is I wish I read it in order. I can tell that I missed the first one because of the characters in the book.

The story of two opposite people from different lifestyles and that would explain Erik and Grace.

Grace is a quiet librarian with strong up-bringing of proper educate from her mom regarding her dressing. She is also a close friend to Jenna and Nate, who is a friend of Erik.

Erik is the son and enforcer of Lucien Bertinelli, boss of the Bertonelli crime family. Lucien was vile, disturbed, ruthless and corrupted down to his bone. He had deep dark dangerous secrets that left him cold-hearted and a certifiable psycho. Erik takes refuge from his disturb, disrupt life in the library, lost in books until he meets Grace.

I really liked Erik. I felt horrible for the circumstances he found himself in. I felt even worse when his current situation deteriorated and I found out what had happen to his sister as a child, I was sadden. I didn't just feel horrible, I was enraged that a child had to experience what he did. I was happy that he'd found some comfort from Grace who had every reason to hate him and make his life more miserable. I really wanted to like Cole. He had some really good moments and then there were times when I was baffled by his actions. I'm still holding out on the decision regarding my feeling about him. I felt there is a connection somewhere between he and Erik. Who knows maybe it will be revealed in the next book.

This book will take you on high and low roller coasters rides filled with intense emotion, drama and despair. The characters was outstanding written with an amazing storyline. I'm looking forward to reading about Cole or Kane. I truly recommend this to everyone who enjoys reading mafia wars.

I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review. First of all, those Parker siblings sure know how to wrap their fingers around your heart, throat and privates with their writings. Untapped is no exception. Toxic was hot A.F. And Untapped is just as hot with a much darker edge. I absolutely loved seeing Cole and even Demetri mentioned (hoped to see more of him). Also love the alternate POV's. I don't have much of an imagination, hence the reason I love to read, but I have to admit I was a little lost towards the end. It felt open with no closure. Am I off? Oh well, guess I have to read it again!! Either way, the characters, the plot...I loved this!

When I finished this book, I had to just sit back and take some deep breaths. Weston Parker really does a great job writing a story that does take your breath away. You are on an emotional rollercoaster all the way through it, and it is very intense. I liked getting to see what is going on with some of the characters from Toxic, but you do not have to have read it to completely enjoy this one. This is a standalone book. The only thing now is that I enjoyed reading this book so much, I am very impatiently waiting for Weston Parker's next book. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced copy, and you very much need to one click this one.

I had been waiting for this since I "met" Erik in Toxic; and was more than a little sad that so much of the playful-a**holiness, that I fell for in Toxic, was replaced with genuine a**holiness in Untapped. Regardless, the author definitely knows how to put together a story that leaves you wondering throughout, though. I mean, I can never figure out how he's going to fix the mess he's made: **POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD** Does Erik run away with Grace? Does his Father finally suck it up and let Erik try to be happy? And, if so, in or out of the syndicate? Does Erik have to just take everyone out in the pursuit of happiness?
In the end, it almost seemed "cliff-hangerish" the way the author left Erik and Grace's story... so what comes next from Logan Chase? Maybe Thomas will get a story, in which we get to see more of Erik and Grace (and Nate and Jenna)....?

It's raw, brutal, and beautiful. After Toxic, I've been anxiously waiting for Grace and Erik's story. I knew it would be good, but I wasn't prepared for how completely blown away I am. The overwhelming emotions and impossible situations that are piled into this book left me speechless. The relationship between Grace and Erik is compelling. He gives her the courage to be truly herself and she inspires him to want to be a better man. I cannot wait to see what the team behind Weston Parker brings us next. If it's even half the book this one was, it'll be brilliant.

Loved Untapped that much I actually forgot to feed my furbabies for 2 hours!!!

After meeting Erik in Toxic I was looking forward to his story.
Erik who's next in line & Hitman to the syndicate meets sweet librarian Grace. Can this couple overcome all the obstacles & their completely different lifestyles to be together?

Weston Parker is an amazingly talented author & I can't wait to see what comes next.

Oh my goodness! Loved it the first book was a crazy emotional roller coaster. This book really got into Erik and Graces heads more and I liked that. The only thing I have an issue with is the fact that I was waiting for something crazy to happen. Or a sick messed up twist like in the first book. But I was left a bit wanting. It has great sexual tension at the beginning which kept me flipping pages, but it kind of plateaued in the excitement category.

I must say that I hated the previous book and the only reason I read this book was because of the dark bastard Erik.

Well, Erik did not disappoint me, he was the bad guy who I imagined and a little more.

Strangely Grace didn't displease me.

I read it in a sitting and was entertaining. The cliffhanger was a bit bizarre, but that isn't the reason why I give it this rating. It's just that I feel that for a book that has two epilogue, for me things were quite unfinished.
