I have never felt like DNFing a book so fast in my life. Not only do I absolutely hate the narrator (Stephen Bel Davies voice for the MC is a joke and I couldn't take it seriously at all. It sounded like a stereotypical flamboyant gay man voice which felt disconnected to him constantly talking about his AIs breast size)

I read a review saying that she DNFed it in the first 9 minutes and honestly I can relate. The MC in this book is a just scummy. He learns that he is now a God and he instantly creates a cat woman with "abundant breast, nice curves, and cute cat ears and of course I included the tail with it" 🤢🤮. She of course appears naked and his "lower half which was standing proudly once the body was finished" I mean come on at least develop an interesting world before you start objectifying women. It doesn't even start there she then bows (giving him a "better view") and then jumps making the MC comment that he has "hit the jackpot".

Normally I would just DNF the book right there, mourn the lost of a Hoopla credit for the month and find something else BUT DARN IT I HAVEN'T EVEN GOTTEN TO THE LITRPG PART and to give up 9 minutes into a 21 hr long book meant I wasn't even giving it the 'old college try'

....Let's just say sometimes it's better to understand your limits He is a horrible God wasting early points to make elves live 600 years instead of increasing it gradually later on, creates 3 female 'gods' commenting that of course he wants them female so that he can ogle at them, and after his AI ask him to make her a 'god' as well he comments on how he hopes she doesn't choose goddess of love because he wants her all to himself and then proceeds to have sex with her. "She was very thankful for her new job" 🤢🤮

...I'm just disappointed with the route Justin Miller decided to take in this series. In World Seed the MC still ogled at women but they were more than just people to have sex with Heck the series went at least two books without sex and just developing the relationships between the women. If this was my first book from Justin Miller I would have definitely put him in my Do Not Read: Misogynistic Trash I should have known not to read LitRPG on International Women's Day

Now here's an interesting concept worth exploring. The God game idea on this scale and explored in this particular way is pretty unique for me as I haven't come across it before. Ambitious :)

Pros:
Original concept, pretty decent writing and the way some of the happenings are revealed - especially towards the end, where a conflict is described from three different points of view.

Cons:
"Level…Health…Mana…" If you have an audiobook version, be ready to skip about 30 minutes (possibly more) of repeating the character sheet throughout the book. It was OK at the beginning when it took 15 seconds to name the level, stats and skills. Not OK at the end when the listing of skills took 3 minutes alone.
I was worried this would turn into a harem, but that didn't happen, fortunately.

Boy did my audiobook app did me wrong.
This book came up among suggested (I genuinely have to wonder why, and maybe make some changes in my life) and had a really good rating from many readers, so the choice felt fool-proof. Silly me.

It starts with the MC creating a catgirl to basically be his.... companion. And he justifies it with 'Ha! I'm a pervert, I know!' Well, acknowledgement does not dissolve the responsibility, but okay. I thought it's only been a few minutes, there must be something about this book that gave it the ratings. It cannot possibly be as ragingly misogynistic as it seems.
So it goes into basically playing out a strategy RPG sort of game thingaling, which I enjoy, so I stayed. But then the harem building started. A secretary/librarian trope was added to the catgirl one. But the one I had a legit gag reaction to and could not get past was the loli.

I will leave you with this gem:
''Lolis have their own appeal. Rather than the sexual charm of an adult form like Terra (catgirl), a loli has a cute appearance that makes you want to protect them. And the best of the adult lolis, those who just never grew into an adult body even though they're fully grown, those are definitely the best.''

Just. No. Take your loli masquerading as an adult and gtfo.

Well done!

I enjoyed this book the most out of any this author has written to date. My only real problem was that the first chapter is in here twice and there is some other errors that were missed.
I can recommend this book.

I'm everything but a feminist. But even I can't take that level of misogyny. You're told you become a god and the first thing you do is make yourself a "girlfriend"? That's just... I don't even wanna know what you'll do next.

fun journey, yet the MC doesn't make sense it as if the author compromised with the path the mc takes so not to incur the wrath of any particular kind of reader, started as horndog with a one track mindset to make himself an harem.. of furrys.. yet this idea is revaluated after the first one turning into his girlfriend/wife/secretary/sex toy? I didn't care either way but the sudden change weirded me out, the loli part freaked me out, thank god she end up in a young sister rol.. as the book progress our MC turn smarter and smarter even insightful.. how? It could have been explain as him getting intelligent point in his status make him brighter.. but it just happens, by the way If you are picking up the audiobook be ready to fast forward the status bullcrap updates, hey' once is ok and updating new stuff is ok'ish but reiterating everything that haven't changed is dumb, is like when you buy something new but rather than just say now I have this and this' you start enumerating everything else in your home before getting to the new stuff, not a problem if you get the book just skip a page but 4 minutes of audio are painful. *I do recommend it for fans of Rts/Rpg games and the short stories center on the people of the world are REALLY nice' a shame that once they pass on they are not mentioned ever again.

I have a love hate relationship with this book. the premises is great I really just think the MC isn't intelligent enough. the book makes you feel I awe of the plot then you look a the MC like wow what a wasted storyline. There's one scene where he's struggling to get points to enhance his world and one of the easiest is to create a demigod and he flat out refuses because he doesn't want to have sex with a human (but he wanted a harem of God's) even tho his who planet can get destroyed if he doesn't enhance it enough. there even scenes where he won't do things because his system companion might get upset but it doesn't make sense because the other long term alternative is the planet being destroyed and him being killed.

It seems impossible to ruin such a cool story idea as bad as this was. The system of world keepers is basically like playing a real time strategy game. The problem is the MC. He is all things the worst. As much as people complain about MCs always being special and too powerful, no one really wants to read a story about a loser. And this MC is a loser. He's just boring and weak. I couldn't finish it. Also the audiobook narrator's voice is incredibly grating. I hate it. It's flamboyantly effeminate.

An Enjoyable and engaging read, except for not having an end - the narrative just stops, no conclusion. I Will look forward to the next instalment - and there had best be another.

Hopefully with a beginning, middle and most importantly a narrative END. Nothing else to say but need five more words to post!

I've read the first 4 books. I really enjoyed the imagination behind the world building I mean that literally, several different worlds and their laws. The characters could use more development, there isn't a lot of personality to them. I enjoyed the short stories more since there was more personality to the characters.

This reads pretty much like a lecture on an imaginary world. It’s mostly world building by a clueless MC that fails to power level himself on a world with mechanics he designs. It makes for boring read and the MC gets on my nerves for being so clueless.

Stick with it.

I almost put the book down at first. It is very different from the action packed litrpg I am used to. The further I read though the more it grew on me. Very creative and refreshing.
