On war-torn Earth, I’m stuck raising my four sisters. It’s okay, I love them dearly. But there are days I long to be free. I always look straight ahead, never up at the stars. Earth holds so many wondrous sights. I want to see them all. But I can’t. Not only have aliens invaded, but my mother died of cancer, leaving me alone to raise my three-year-old twin sisters, along with ten-year-old Cassidy. Belle is sixteen and can take care of herself mostly. I never dreamed at the age of twenty-two I would become a mother of four.
One day while I was hunting for food, a shuttlecraft spiraled out of control. The smoke, the carnage…there’s no way anyone could have survived, but I searched anyway. Everyone lay dead, or so I thought. A gasp, a noise, and then I saw the rise and fall of his chest. I had to help. I can’t explain why, but I had to.
Aydan
The computer blares a warning, and I curse the fates. A down-and-back trip to see Earth shouldn’t be too much to ask. I know I’m second in command, and they need me on the Victory, but it’s just a quick trip. What could happen? I smirk as the computer blares its warning. Now I will never have a family, give my mother young. She will be all alone. Of all the ways I could die, I never thought it would be in a fauk’n shuttlecraft accident.
My eyes pop open, and I can’t remember anything. What happened? Who am I? What am I? Why do these two younglings call me Kiddy and try to look at my teeth? I know I’m different. I don’t belong here. When I see myself in the looking glass, it confirms my belief.
When the Tureis kidnap Riley, all my memories come rushing back. The memories, the pain, it’s staggering, and I’m unable to help her, protect her as I should. With her gone, I must take care of her sisters and get Riley back at all costs. Her sisters need her. I need her!
Follow Aydan and Riley on their amazing journey. If you enjoy adventure, humor, sadness, and a HEA, then this book is for you. Warning: intended for mature audiences 18+.
Hannah Davenport is a wife, mother, reader, and author of sci-fi and contemporary romance novels. As a die-hard romantic, her novels are filled with an intense male lead, an equally fierce female counterpart, a lot of chemistry tossed together with a heap of action and mystery that leads to a happily ever after. Who doesn't love that?
So, if you love books with action, mystery, a lot of chemistry mixed with some steamy sex scenes, then go ahead and push the follow button on Goodreads. You won't be disappointed.
Riley the Earth chick and Aydan the sexy alien. He's a friend of the royal brothers and a pretty nice guy. He crashes onto Earth and is rescued by Riley and her younger sisters only to wake with no memory at all. He can understand the girls, but they can't understand him. It's pretty cute. There's mating heat between him and Riley and then a misunderstanding when she is kidnapped by the enemy. Pretty low angst though and an enjoyable addition to the series! The second half wasn't as good as the first, but I thought 4 stars cause I read it non-stop.
This made a for a fun alien sci-fi romance. I really loved how the hero bonded to the heroines sisters. The twins made this such an adorable read! I look forward to more in this series.
A cute story, but I don't think I'll read any more from this author. The story was sweet but it's been done before, and this was not done artfully enough to be worth reading more by her.
Okay I loved the idea and would love those characters. But they were just kinda plain. Riley was strong character. Taking care about her family but wtf. For real.
The relationship between Riley and Aydan..... there was no building, I haven't felt any connection between them. There was nothing!
So much potential. But nothing made out of it.
When she got rescued and not from Aydan, which I kinda liked, but then she comes home and her family is away! I would freak out. We did not know Aydan. I didn't feel like we knew him enough to be sure he is taking good care of the kids and will come back for Riley.
Just ughh! It was annoying. I don't want to give more spoilers, but there was a lots of things that were just plain silly for me. One last spoiler : Riley:"I like him so much. Blah blah blah. I always feel him when he (Aydan) is close." Aydan standing in doorway listening to her. Riley notices him after while:"How long were you standing there?!"

Ayden crashes on Earth, and Riley rescues him. Riley's only 24, and "mama" to her four sisters since their parents deaths. The girls were raised "off the Grid" so self sufficiency isn't the issue - it's the big handsome amnesiac Ayden. The three year old twins adore him, and he worms his way into the the other sisters' hearts as well - especially Riley's. What he can't recall is WHY she's so special to him. It all become clear after great drama, danger, and a few (!!) determined rescues.... Lot's of action and angst, a bit of steamy sexy time, and an incredibly well orchestrated multiple HEA for all - including the cat, the dog, and the cow! There's never a dull moment in this 6th novel in the Azziarin series - and I'm looking forward to more.
THIS WASN'T A BAD STORY, EXCEPT IT'S TOO LIGHT & FLUFFY NOT TO MENTION TOO INSTA LOVE FOR ME TO ENJOY.
HERO crashes onto the heroine's planet, he lost his memory and she took care of him with her rambunctious siblings (who were adorable) but there's all there is to it. The climax includes the bad alien taking the heroine away, triggering his memories and heroine got captured. Said heroine believed he abandoned her and felt betrayed. When someone else rescues her and bring her home, she takes out her anger on HERO and then they kiss & make up.
UGHH....now that I dissected it like that. It sounds almost like a bad joke.
NO INTENSITY. No emotional content that counts and it's definitely not CHICKEN SOUP.
Aydan ended up being one of the males I loved the best in this series. I especially like how he was with all of the females. The author lost a higher star rating though when *spoiler* she gets kidnapped and he comes off very calm about it and focuses on taking her sisters up to his ship and everyone just continues dilly dallying around. It does end up with them canvasing and going into enemy ships looking for her, but dang he didn't freak out one bit really. And we never did receive any answers of what they did to her. They did something, she said she was sore... but what???
They just keep getting better, I've read this whole series so far, and I keep thinking the one I just read is the best one. Then I read the next one and I'm like, well no, THIS one kills the others. It's a dilemma, I'm working through it. Not the typical alien saves human girl story, Riley keeps on saving Ayden, her family, strangers, she is a phenomenon on her own. I wish there were more in this series ready to read, but I'll try to be patient. This is a sweet survival tale with a love story that builds.
This series keeps me interested because it is character driven and the worlds are interesting. The technical writing itself is a bit amateurish (including repeating the previous scene in the next chapter from another point of view, grammar, etc).
Also, I love a good steamy scene as much as anyone but I understand that these are not always easy to pull off. If your best descriptors include “nether regions” you should probably keep it simple or skip it altogether LOL.
So this was my first book from this author and I loved it. I always saw her series pop up as a recommendation on amazon but I wasn't sure I wanted to start a whole series, when I saw the cover and saw it could be read as standalone I jumped on it. The book was great, I enjoyed the family aspect of the storyline and how events played out. Now starting the series since I want more. Really wish these books were in audio so I wouldn't mentally butcher the names.
This story is about and alien ship wreck and a human woman saving one of the survivors. She knows she needs to save this alien but doesn't know why. She brings him back to her home and her family. He sees what wonderful people they ate and does everything in his power to help them.
Insta-lust. Characters lacked any real depth and I couldn’t find it in me to really care what happened to them or relate to them. Relationship had no relatable buildup.
I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. I have to say that I absolutely love this series and this one did not disappoint. It has drama, danger, sexy aliens, a no nonsense brave heroine and disgustingly terrible aliens who have invaded earth. I really enjoyed the interactions between Aydan and the children. There were some funny parts, scary parts , sexy parts, and I really liked that we had updates on other characters in previous books. This is definitely a book I'd recommend and I can't wait for the next! Five+ stars!!
Enjoyed this book. I laughed cried and rejoiced. The story is good and characters are awesome. Adventure, danger and lots of romance and love. Can't wait for the next book in the series
I liked this book a lot. I enjoy this series very much the characters are fun, strong and the plot doesn't bog down. Looking forward to the next one in the series.
I'm always so impressed when older siblings step up to the plate, add in a world invaded by monsters and this makes Riley my favorite human mate to the Azzarians. Aydan is exactly the right type for Riley. Read this story and the whole series and you'll fall in love with the Azzarians too.
Loved it! Aydan and Riley's story is a classic. Girl rescues amnesiac boy, they both feel instant attraction for each other, slow burn brings on the SERIOUS HEAT, bad guys have to make an appearance, boy gets memory back, kicks a@$ to get girl back, and then, a beautifully done HEA! We were also introduced to another species of hot aliens with no females, the Curazins. I hope to see what happens with their commander and Karen in the future.
I liked the story but even though I know it's fiction and the animals are not real but still it bothered me that they left the puppy and only took the cat.
This book was just as captivating as all the other ones in the series? It has plenty of action, family drama, adventure, passion, and steamy love scenes that doesn't take over the story with awesome characters? A very highly recommend and keep them coming.
This is the sixth book in this series, hopefully not the last. Ayden is a commander, not a prince. His shuttle crashes on earth. He doesn't know who it what he is. He understands the humans but they don't understand him. He is reduced by Riley and her four sisters. Will he and she be able to keep her sisters safe? And what about the language problems...
Love the sweet family that found Aaydan. The twins are funny thinking everyone is a cat. I liked that Riley was a very strong young woman. Raising her 4 sisters alone off the grid and doing a great job of it. I really liked how Aaydan just accepted all of the girls and was genuinely concerned for their safety and we'll being. Great addition to the series!!!!
