Under new direction, Brady Hawk and the Firestorm team focus their energy on stopping the dangerous organization manipulating world events from the shadows, The Chamber. But when an old foe complicates the mission and introduces a new lethal outcome, Hawk’s plans go awry in the wake. And in the aftermath, he must make a choice ... a choice between the greater of two evils.
Seige will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the last scene plays out in this thrilling series from bestselling author Jack Patterson.
Operative Brady Hawk and his partner Alex are still adjusting to the newest member of the Firestorm team, Shane Samuels, when they are informed of his surprising connection to Alex. But the shock of that revelation is quickly thrust aside as a new threat from Katarina Petrov and The Chamber arises -- Petrov is now allied with Hawk's nemesis, Karif Fazil, head of the terror group Al Hasib.
Jack Patterson has again built a rollercoaster of a plot. Hawk is kept jumping from mission to mission as each success is twisted into deeper trouble for the Firestorm team. With the addition of several new characters, it seems Firestorm will be kept very busy for the foreseeable future. And I couldn't be happier at the thought of more Brady Hawk novels.
A secret group of highly important and powerful people are trying to manipulate world events to there advantage. The Chamber. POTUS is in there pocket. This group and there leader will stop at nothing to achieve there goals. Only Hawk and his team stand in there way. A truly magnificent read!! Bursting with action, suspense and treachery. I highly recommend!!
Brady Hawk and the Firestorm team focus on stopping an organization (The Chamber) from manipulating world events.
Action, tension, and excitement made this a great read. The characters are interesting, always going straight into danger. Set-ups and twists ramped up the story. I love that I don't have to be concerned about curse words or bedroom scenes.
5-Star read. Ready for the next one in this series.
Great read. A lot of information to digest. New Firestorm member Simon, Axes half brother.and Petrov's children. The team is chasing the President Michaels and Petrov. Michaels gets back in power and threatening VP Young. Al Habis is going after the oil production in Kuwaiti and the team is still hiding from the law. Really a great turn of events but, you need the next book.
This series gets more and more basic as it goes on, not even teens would find it exciting. The best spy in the world always goes into everything without a plan, gets caught extremely easy then breaks out because the bad guy leaves him unattended and in loose restraints. Spy seems to always be on the front pages of the news, and still is called a spy.
Wow what a book. This is the eighth book and just as fantastic as all the rest of the books. No way are you able to put it down before you're finished. Definitely ready for more. Appreciated receiving this book to review
For a Black Ops Agent that is supposed to be the best of the best, Brady Hawk sure as heck gets bested a lot and somehow all the bad guys seem to escape when least expected, ha! ha! It's a good read, but some times it gets a little bit flaky.
The plot of this series has more twists and turns than a roller coaster! Will the teammates names ever be cleared? Hey, Amazon, this would make a great action series on Prime Video!
Fast paced & well written... It often seems that the agents find themselves in impossible situations, yet are able to escape! I like a little more romance.
Hawk and Alex return, with s new team member, who is also Alex's half brother. The Chamber are upping the ante, as they look to change the world. Interesting dilemma for Hawk at the end.
I love a straight to the point writing skill. The characters are believable, and as each plot thickens, the endgame is always; escape to fight another day.
Wow another fast & furious thrill ride with Brady Hawk. This novel fit right in with all the others in this series. It is full of action & drama. Don’t think twice about grabbing this book.
SEIGE. By Jack Patterson. 8th in Brady Hawk series We again have Brady, and his handler Alex, with a new one Shane, on the Firestorm team . A counterintelligence asset, Pilot was in danger, there has been no contact, so Hawk is sent to Istanbul. In trying to salvage the situation that Hawk encounters, even after Shane tells him ". Do not go in" he does. Shane will learn that Hawk finishes the job he is sent for. Alex and Hawk prefer action to speaking. Did Hawk get information to take down Petrov and The Chamber, that Pilot was obtaining. They are headed to Stuttgart, Germany, was the information a set up, a pawn in Petrov game plan. How did Shane get his job. Another winner, good plot, that captures you from the beginning. All will enjoy reading and hopefully there will be a 9th one soon. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
