I received an e-copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Regroup offers a well-written message for anyone contemplating, "What next?" or coming off of a seemingly big and painful failure. The author provides smart advice and thoughtful questions to help readers shift out of the endless cycle of negative self-talk. What I appreciated most was the matter-of-fact tone--readers are invited to consider their circumstances, but not wallow or indulge in endless rumination. She did a nice job balancing compassion and the message of what it means to give up vs. not giving up. I enjoyed the examples of successful people and their periods of failure, but would have preferred a few examples of regular people who failed but persevered despite desperate circumstances.

I recommend this book or anyone who needs a quick read to shift their mindset and move on from a painful but temporary setback.

Well, I wrote it - so I think it's pretty good :-) My main goal was to transmit what I've learned so far of resilience in a digestable and memorable way. Feel free to let me know what you think! I'm contemplating an updated version.
