Nice book with a good story.
We join a team of people who are after the great treasure that Emperor Ashoka has left behind. How does the team reach there and what lies in the treasure is the crux of the story .

The story takes us through the lives of Lord Buddha and Ashoka . We get to know about a lot of new facts about them.

In the process of finding the treasure, we get to know about the great philosophers, scientists, traders and administrators who dwelled in this land. The way this book speaks about the scientific temper that existed in India before the nation had to deal with the invasions is amazing.

The pace of the story is quite decent and that makes this book a decent read.

The ending of the book is quite predictable, nevertheless, the message is still quite good.

Thanks Raghunandan for telling us the glory of the land in a very nice way. Your call for action was also very good. Waiting for more books from your quill.

A short read; A treasure trove

The Great Indian Treasure goes beyond being a gripping fiction. It leaves gems of Indian historical heritage on the way for the readers. The contents remind you that Bharat was ahead in achievements across different industries, from surgery to economics & mathematics, which are now forgotten in the wave of celebrating westernization that has engulfed the attitudes in our country. Once we think of India with the lens of successes it has witnessed in history, we are bound to lead a life with a sense of pride and attempt to live up to it! The book also points to the dire need educational reforms required to cultivate this attitude in Indians as kids, rather than be tutored to awe at (majorly)Europeans.

The better you know your past, the better you'll be prepared for the future.
Through this book, Raghunandan wanted to share the values of our past and how our ignorance is coming up with consequences. The writing is combination of fact and fiction to deliver the message in exciting, clear and concrete way. However the climax of the story seems obvious, but overall it is good writing to make an impact on Indian youth to choose a path of self-exploration.

An inspiring read especially for young adults who are yet to discover the real Indian legacy, and the promising potential that not just we Indians, but each and every individual has within himself. It's sure a page turner and while one may guess the next page sometimes, yet one wouldn't want to leave anything unread.

The presentation is succinct and the climax is profound. Strongly recommended for Post-Millennial Generation Z, who may not have had a chance to learn about India's rich heritage and it's message to the world at large.

One of the standout features of this book is its ability to inspire a sense of pride and wonder in the reader. Vadla’s passion for his subject matter is evident in every page, and his enthusiasm is infectious. As I turned the pages, I found myself becoming increasingly fascinated by the rich cultural heritage of our India and the remarkable achievements by our ancient scholars.
If I were to offer a critique, it’d be that certain sections felt slightly rushed, leaving the reader eager for a more detailed exploration of the themes presented.

Sometimes a little spark is required to ignite the fire in oneself to achieve something. This book helps as that spark to build a great country. This book brought me a quest to go back and learn about our history. Even though couple of points are predictable in the book but still i gave 5 star for putting effort in writing this book and telling us the greatness of our country history which we are missing to learn in present situations. Thank you Raghunandan.

The great Indian treasure is a sheer fiction entwined with pearls of historical facts about Lord Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha and The great emperor, Ashoka. More importantly, there is a ton of information on Indias' historical intellectuals and their contributions to the world. Attempt toward this twining is quaint. Whilst providing lots of valuable historical facts, on one hand, the attempt to retain the reader's attention through suspense and drama is very lucid. Although ending is bit palpable, the message is very clear and has lot of depth associated with it. It's a great read for people from every walk of life considering how less we Indian's are aware of one's own rich history as well as one's own real treasure.

I have read this book in a single night! The way in which the author conveyed his message to the world, and the way he made us realise the great history of our country subtly in interesting conversations, is just Amazing! How I wish my school taught social studies like this! There's history, geography, adventure, suspense, drama, and what not?! You don't need to read a hundred books of different genres to have this experience. This one book is enough! Fast paced with interesting conversations and comic bytes, and simple writing, makes it a Must Read for everyone! There's never a dull moment. I thouroughly enjoyed it.
