Jessica ‘Jess’ Blake is a reporter whose boss has given her an ultimatum, produce a wow factor news story or she’s out of a job. After reading lots of BDSM books on her kindle, she decides to go undercover as a submissive to compare real life experience vs. what is fiction.
She ends up meeting sexy, uber-rich business mogul Adam Maxwell, and she ends up blowing her cover. Adam, a man who doesn’t do relationships, decides to “train her” But there’s also a killer on the loose and Jess may be the next on his hit list.
I absolutely LOVED this book! The characters were wonderful, Jess and Adam kept me on my toes with their back and forth ‘relationship’ and their sizzling attraction. The side characters were great! Especially Tilly and Stacy. I’d love to see them have books of their own. This is most definitely a keeper!!!

I love anything Rosemary Willhide writes. Temptation being no exception.
I loved Jess. She had me laughing from the very beginning. She is so funny without even trying get to be.
Adam is a dirty talking Dom that can spank me anytime. He was also incredibly sweet.
I cried ladies, not going to lie.
Honestly some of these characters in this book had me laughing my butt off.
This book has it all. Laugh out loud moments, danger, mystery, suspense, steam and romance.
No cheating, No cliffhanger, HEA.
Highly recommend this book.

Once again this author delivered the hotness!
Once again the author blew me away. This is a defiant must read! Its steamy, funny, and one heck of a ride.
Jessica works for the newspaper she had to do some research and she ends up meeting Adam.

This is the story Jessica Blake and Adam Maxwell and the first in the Vegas Edge Series. Jessica works for a newspaper and is looking for her big break. She wants to write a story on the BDSM scene and decides to visit a club and try to get the inside details on the lifestyle. Adam is a Vegas mogul and is drop dead gorgeous and Jessica is shocked to find him at the club. She is even more shocked when she finds out he will be the dominant in charge of introducing her to lifestyle. They have an immediate chemistry, however Jessica’s cover as a reporter is discovered, and Adam is furious. Will Jess lose her big story and possibly even her career? Will Adam look past this initial transgression and move forward with Jessica and her curious nature?
What I Loved About This Book
Rosemary did a fantastic job with this story. I loved the character development and the chemistry between the main characters and the sub characters in this story. One of my favorites was Harley the dog! How can a dog be a favorite character? In all honesty it was the interaction with him and all of the other characters in this story. Jessica is strong female lead which I love in a book. Her spunk and sass truly made this story a great one! I laughed out loud at several points in the book with her narrative and dialogue. Adam or Sir Dude was a fantastic male lead. He was alpha but not over bearing and obnoxious. He was sexy, sensual, seductive and overall a delicious male character. I thought the overall story was well written. Along with some heat and love, Rosemary through in some suspense and angst. There is a bit of mystery in the story that I was not expecting which was a nice touch. This was not a typical BDSM story and I think that is a good thing. It was fresh and new.
What I Did Not Love About This Book
I felt like the ending was rushed or lost me a bit for some reason. It may be because I figured out the mystery sooner than I would have liked, but it did not take away from my enjoyment of the overall story.
I would definitely recommend this book to others and I give it 4 ½ stars!!!

This was an author I had read before and was really looking forward to getting my hands on this one. Temptation was Rosemary’s first BDSM romance book.
The story revolves around two main characters and a dog. Yes, a dog! Even now thinking about Harley, her 4 legged friend brings a smile to my face. Jessica Blake is an entertainment reporter who needs to find that one story that she can really get her teeth into and for people to take her work seriously. BDSM is a hot topic at the moment but Jessica has no experience whatsoever about this lifestyle. So she decides to visit a club and this is where the foundation for this story begins.
Adam Maxwell a Vegas casino Mogul and CEO of Maxwell Industries. A gorgeous, delicious alpha male who drew attention or should I say commanded attention wherever he went. He would make any woman go weak at the knees; and my knees were feeling weak, ha ha. Adam was also a Dom and part owned a club with friends. Now you can see where this story is going.
Through Jessica’s dealings with the newspaper she recognises Adam straight away and the shock was palpable. He would be the Dom to teach her about the lifestyle but she needed to keep her identity a secret, which didn’t last long, and Adam wasn’t best pleased.
As these two characters come together it was explosive. Jessica was no pushover and her Dom was making sure she played by the rules. You could tell this was not a going to be a straight forward love story.
Rosemary introduced some twists and turns into this book that you never saw coming but added to the story. I have to say to the author that in my opinion this is the best book she has written thus far. You have come a long way since I first read your work and you can see this from the way you write, the words that you use and the storyline itself. This was an author that had sought out knowledge about this subject and had done it well. This book was well written, well thought out and a pleasure to read. I personally cannot wait for part 2 and I would highly recommend this book to friends and fellow readers. Congratulations Rosemary on a well-deserved 5 stars.

Fun and suspenseful BDSM
The first step in reading a Rosemary Willhide book is to turn the A/C as low as possible!
Temptation is witty, hot and amazing. I love the sarcasm from Jessica and her independent but submissive personality. Adam is an Alpha male who will be haunting my dreams for quite a while. He is all Dom wrapped around a soft golden heart.
I loved the plot and it was so well developed that my interest was held consistently throughout the story. I am looking forward to the next in the series and wondering if I will see some of the secondary characters from Book 1. Ben and Miss Jeannie would be great for reappearance. Hint,hint!
I also loved the mention of fur babies and their excellent care. Animal lovers will have a special treat with Harley. I had to give Dori my cat a few extra snuggles through the book.
I don't want to leave out the action and mystery woven throughout the story. It is realistic and pertinent to today's world.

I loved the characters in this book – Jess who was a reporter trying to get a story in a BDSM club, but while under cover, gets found out by Adam Maxwell the CEO of Maxwell Industries and a Dom, he loves having control in the board room and the bedroom, who then offers her a deal. Not to forget Harley the four-legged character that stole everyone’s hearts.
Jess’s sarcasm is one of the things that drives Adam crazy, and even though Adam can be as ass and Jess lets him know it, they develop strong feelings for each other, and see that these are the parts the like most about each other.
There was chemistry between the two to start off with, and steamy scenes. Throw in Harley the Four-legged friend, some crazy relatives and some amazing friends, this book is an amazing read.
While there was a HEA and no cliff hangers, although this is a can be read as a standalone I can’t wait to see where the other books in the series head.

Amazing, brilliant, and hot!
This book was amazing! It literally took my breath away. The magic between Adam, who by the way is every womans wet dream and Sassy,snarky, feisty Jess is a match made by the fates. Temptations is a story that has it all. I laughed out loud at Jess's snarky humor and cried my eyes out in other parts of the story. The danger and suspense will have your heart pounding and the hot sexy part will have you fanning yourself. I can't wait for the next book in this series to come out!

Jess is certainly not a naïve young girl, even though she struggles to keep her cool around Adam. I really enjoy Jess’s spunky attitude, however, as well as Adam’s more serious but very intense personality. After his initial irritation, Adam makes the most of this opportunity, but even he is surprised with the outcome. Their story evolves into more than just a sexy romance, which makes this an even better read.

Steamy ride!
Where do I start?! Adam and Jess's story had so much more than I was expecting. The story is HOT, touching, exciting, funny, and realistic. You feel a connection to each character and I'm left wanting so much more. The storyline captured me and I just couldn't put it down. It's refreshing to read a story that has realistic versions of true BDSM lifestyles. Temptation made it very clear that it's not about abuse but trust, respect, and freedom. Looking forward to book 2!

New Author for me. Well written and gave me all that lovey dovey ?!#@. Really liked this book. She gave me well developed characters with flaws and issues and connected me to all of their feelings. Yes, I cried and maybe more than once. And she wrapped it up in a storyline that flowed well and kept me turning pages. I will definitely be reading more from her. I'll recommend her to friends and that says a lot.

I'm big into BDSM stories and this one was incredible. Fun story from beginning to end. I loved all the characters. Plenty of character depth and lots of spicy scenes make this a great cuddle up and play read.

Let me start by saying that I do not read read a lot of BDSM books. I just don't really get into them. If I read one, It has to have a really good story line. This book did hold my interest and is very well written. I enjoyed the characters, and was very drawn into the book!

Jess and Adam's story grabbed my attention and would not let go. It has its elements of fun and a very lovey-dovey romance brewing all the way through. I loved this couple and their story.

Reading the blurb of this story, had me intrigue, so was eager to read the book. And it started off really good, but then it went a bit downhill for me. I liked Adam's character, but I didn't feel their attraction, some parts seemed a bit forced.
When she started calling him SIR, and the way she said it, started to grate on me, I kept wanting to hit Jessica, her responses seemed a bit childish at times. Like would a submissive really respond that way? Yes i get that its fiction, but you want to at least believe some of the replies?
I think for me, it is more of this book wasn't for me.
I have given it 3 stars because the story line is good, just wasn't put together like i had hoped, and i kept trying to compare some scenes to Fifty Shades. (which is all on me)
Although it wasn't a book for me, do give it a go, we are all different in our likes and dislikes.

I'm a bit torn about this book.
I really liked the story and the characters but wasn't so keen on Adam.
Jess works for a paper and has to write a story on BDSM, something that she wants to learn about anyway, so she's killing two birds with one stone.
For me, the Dom, Adam, wasn't such a great character. I found him too much the boss, rather than the Dom. He really didn't do it for me.
I enjoyed Jess, the secondary characters and the actual plot and that's what makes it a 4 star read for me.

I came for the Las Vegas setting (since I miss travelling there) but I stayed for the suspense and steam...This book is extra spicy! Most erotic novels have a weak storyline, but Rosemary incorporated the plot and the BDSM scenes perfectly! I would have liked Adam to have a bit more depth - maybe more of his inner dialogue - but otherwise felt the characters were well rounded and well connected (and can see how some lead into the other books in the series)

This was an author I had read before and was really looking forward to getting my hands on this one. Temptation was Rosemary’s first BDSM romance book.
The story revolves around two main characters and a dog. Yes, a dog! Even now thinking about Harley, her 4 legged friend brings a smile to my face. Jessica Blake is an entertainment reporter who needs to find that one story that she can really get her teeth into and for people to take her work seriously. BDSM is a hot topic at the moment but Jessica has no experience whatsoever about this lifestyle. So she decides to visit a club and this is where the foundation for this story begins.
Adam Maxwell a Vegas casino Mogul and CEO of Maxwell Industries. A gorgeous, delicious alpha male who drew attention or should I say commanded attention wherever he went. He would make any woman go weak at the knees; and my knees were feeling weak, ha ha. Adam was also a Dom and part owned a club with friends. Now you can see where this story is going.
Through Jessica’s dealings with the newspaper she recognises Adam straight away and the shock was palpable. He would be the Dom to teach her about the lifestyle but she needed to keep her identity a secret, which didn’t last long, and Adam wasn’t best pleased.
As these two characters come together it was explosive. Jessica was no pushover and her Dom was making sure she played by the rules. You could tell this was not a going to be a straight forward love story.
Rosemary introduced some twists and turns into this book that you never saw coming but added to the story. I have to say to the author that in my opinion this is the best book she has written thus far. You have come a long way since I first read your work and you can see this from the way you write, the words that you use and the storyline itself. This was an author that had sought out knowledge about this subject and had done it well. This book was well written, well thought out and a pleasure to read. I personally cannot wait for part 2 and I would highly recommend this book to friends and fellow readers. Congratulations Rosemary on a well-deserved 5 stars.

An exiting, thrilling and erotic read.

This is my first foray into Rosemary Willhide and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
I did not read the blurb before diving in so I just sat back and enjoyed it all unfolding.
She has taken the Dom/Sub theme and entirely made it her own with and intriguing and exciting story line, while at the same time giving us and interesting couple learning to accept who they are and trust in each other.
I enjoyed the scenes , they were well written and had me anticipating their next one. I did not mind at all that the Dom/Sub theme was in my opinion not the main theme. It had moments of excitement and humor. Thrilling crime sprees involving murders and breaking and entering. Journalism at its best with Jessica working tirelessly to solve the murder of a loved one and bring justice to his family. Evil and sadistic family members add yet another level of depths to this tale .
All the secondary characters were interesting and leaves me wanting to learn more about them when and if we get the chance!
Well done Rosemary, I have truly enjoyed this fantastic five star read! I look forward to reading everything you have to offer.

For the past few months I have tried to keep my BDSM themed books to a minimum because they have fell flat for me. When I read the description of this book I was excited because it seemed like it was going to be different.
Adam is your typical Dom hero. I was hoping that he would pull more feeling from me, make me want to cheer for him but it took a long time for that to happen. I loved seeing his sweet side
I liked Jess. Her ability to go with the flow was what drew me to her. She has that girl next door/ want to be best friends with persona that I loved. She wasn't weak with was another huge plus.
This is another typical BDSM book but it also had different aspects to it that I enjoyed, there was suspense surrounded by the heat that helped pull me in and see past the small things that I didn't like.
Overall, I liked it. The development of the plot was it a good pace, the heroine was sassy but down to earth, the hero was one of the take charge kind of guy's, and the world that this author built well, BDSM is it big on the market, I felt that she did good trying to set herself apart from the others. 4 stars #2OCCJD
