The book details the steps she took to recover from PTSD and DID (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Disassociative Identity Disorder). I found it interesting as she recounts bits of what caused the trauma as it relates to that particular chapter.

If you’ve experienced trauma during your life, then you must read this short yet powerful book by Cathy O’Brien, a US Government whistleblower of thirty years.

Cathy is a survivor of MKUltra. If you don’t know what MKUltra is, then you owe it to yourself to learn about it, then share what you learn with others.

MKUltra is a mind control program. It was developed during the 1950s in the United States. The Nazi scientists helped, too. In fact, a lot of mind control technology now prevalent in the United States came from the Nazis, who were brought to US shores by Americans. That’s correct—by Americans.

The Nazi scientists taught American scientists the techniques of mind control, which were then perfected and rolled out across America and elsewhere. This program was investigated by Congress in the 1970s and then “shut down.” But it didn’t really go away. It went underground, it’s still here, and it’s having a devestating impact on those it reaches from the famous to the not-so famous.

There’s a sinister agenda at work, and MK Ultra (a.k.a., MKEvil) is a key part of it. You’ll be hearing more about this agenda in the future. Pay attention. Why? Because it involves you. Don’t believe it involves you? Wait a while.

MKUltra is a very dangerous program. If you read PTSD: Time to Heal, you’ll see why. You’ll learn how Cathy O’Brien overcame the devastating impact of being a mind controlled sex slave. You’ll also learn the techniques she used to deprogram herself from this evil program.

One of Cathy’s big points in the book is the importance of WRITING out the memories of your trauma. Did bad things happen to you when you were a child? Or a teenager? Or an adult? Or all three? Then you must start a journal. You must write your memories down. You must store your journal away and not read it again for twenty-one days. You need to get these memories out of you and gain some distance from them.

“Writing out memory is key to reclaiming control over your own mind and life. The pen is mightier than the sword!” (14)

This important technique—journaling—is something intelligence insider Mark Phillips, who rescued Cathy from the Pentagon’s evil mind-control program and who later became her husband, taught Cathy as she was healing from decades of mental and sexual abuse.

When you write your painful memories out with a pen on a notepad, you’re using the logical side of your brain. Cathy states that writing out your painful memories helps to “re-open neuron pathways that have closed due to the brain’s response to trauma too horrible to comprehend. The very act of moving a pen uses the logic function of the brain whereby shifting your ‘emotionally incomprehensible’ trauma over to logic where it can be consciously dealt with. You already survived it once and remembering it and writing it out will only free you from it.” (12)

Cathy states, “What a relief it is to know that the negativity brewing deep in that subconscious compartment (of your mind) is not all there is to this world! Once it is written out and removed from its subconscious confinement, it dissipates in light of truth. Writing out memory frees you from those negative subconscious drivers.“ (72)

MKUltra can also be used on crowds for “crowd control” or it can be used on whistleblowers to monitor them, to punish them, or to attempt to alter their behavior. Many who are pushing the New World Order are big into mind control; it’s how they’re partially going to bring their globalist agenda about, which is essentially worldwide communism.

You, too, can reclaim your mind and your life from past trauma. Whether you’ve suffered terrible abuse as a child, endured a painful divorce, suffered the loss of an important job, and so on, PTSD: Time to Heal is a book for you.

“When the world around me became outrageous, I began writing out my rage and always with a SOULution. This helped me to cope and it can certainly help you, too. Writing keeps negativity from being immobilizing and allows logical ease in turning those negatives into positives that empower.” (104)

I highly recommend this book by Cathy O’Brien.

It's important to go into this book knowing that healing from trauma is not a one size fits all process. I have found therapy essential to my healing; however, clearly the author did not. I am always suspicious of books whose only footnotes are citing their own work. Also, I do not believe references to politics belong in PTSD books encouraging healing...it is extremely distracting from the process.

Short easy read and actionable without being overwhelming. This book takes a different approach than other trauma books in that it’s focused on reclaiming our power and in particular the power of our minds. Wish I’d discovered it when I started my psychedelic assisted therapy because it’d have helped with processing forgotten compartmentalized memories. Having said this there are useful tips that can be used at any time.

Brilliant book... It really helped me with a few of the tips and i love the idea of leaving a memory alone and then coming back to it.

Cathy is such an inspiration and her work goes to show you truly can heal from anything!

I read it because of my love for Cathy, not because I’m suffering from trauma. Nevertheless, there are some great points made that should improve my life if I apply them.
