I didn't have a clue that this was a 3 book series I just thought that it was a really long book.
Book 1 Traditional Love
A Spanking Marriage is a Lasting Marriage
Neeley catches her husband having sex with another woman and they separate until she decides to divorce him. Neeley gets a job in her home town to be close to her befriend Coley and her brother Caine. Caine had always treated her like a big brother growing up after living together they discover that they have feelings for each other. Neeley learns that Caine beliefs in Domestic Discipline. These two had a lot of chemistry and it made for some really hot sex scenes. This was a good story it was hot and sweet Caine was romantic.
Book 2 Traditional Terms
Finding the Happy ever after
This story pick up after the last one ends. Coley is Caine's sister and Neeley's bestfriend. Coley is an author of erotica but she has lost her mojo. Caine's friend and co-worker, Vance, has feelings for Coley, but treads lightly, after all, she is his friend's baby sister. Vance and Coley sit and talk Vance also believes in DD also. This was another hot story these two had great chemistry together. I also liked how the author continues with the same friends being their for each other.
Book 3 Traditional Change
I was lost But now I am found
Sawyer Monroe is a highly sought after, award winning tattoo artist and a friend of Caine After Rebecca Hadley went through a divorce and is left drowning in self-pity, she decides she is going to get a large tattoo on her entire back. Neely recommends Caine's friend, Sawyer. Rebecca knows that her friends and their partners all practice Domestic Discipline, but for the life of her, she can't understand why. The more she learns about it, the more curious she becomes until she messes up and agrees by consent to allow Sawyer to spank her. This was another hot read these two also had good chemistry and the sex was hot. This was my first time reading this author and I really didn't know what to expect. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more of this authors work.

Reader beware. This story is not for everyone.
Bad, Bad Girl is a compilation of three stories about three women, who discover a different type of love. Each story had been released separately, Traditional Love, Traditional Terms, and Traditional Change. I had been unfamiliar with Domestic Discipline (DD) until I read these stories. DD is an interesting concept. The man takes the lead and when there's a conflict a spanking helps resolve the issues.
"People believe, as I do, that spanking is a way to solve conflict. Rather than fighting or having resentment, a spanking is a way to take action, reestablish roles and resolve the issue.".
Spankings (or anal methods) reestablish the male dominate/ female submissive roles. This is not BDSM. The spankings are not meant to be erotic, usually. They are meant as punishment for misbehaving and re-establishing order. All three women are strong willed and initially are hesitant with the DD lifestyle. All three men are Alpha and take on the challenge. In each of the three stories the female characters misbehave and are punished, with spankings and/or anal methods. The women accept their punishment and find relief in giving themselves to their men.
I enjoyed all three stories. Three women, three stories finding love in a DD relationship. I think the author did a great job representing the lifestyle. The women are not doormats. They are consenting adults who find a greater happiness and connection in giving themselves to their husbands. 5 Stars

I really want to like this book. But Caine doesn't love Nelly, so I can't.
Although Caine witnesses Sara knock Neely's head against a wall, he spanks Neely to coerce her to:
1. host Sara in their home; twice the same day
2. apologize to Sara for calling her a psychopath (a truth)
3. have Sara attend their wedding
4. be alone with Sara so he and Travis can self-gratulate one another for spanking their women
Caine places Neely in dangerous situations with Sara on multiple occasions. Sara treats Neely cruelly most of those times, and violently attacks her in front of many witnesses, including Caine himself. Yet Caine chooses his friendship with Travis over his promise to protect Neely. He belittles and humiliates her for wanting to be safe.
I enjoy stories with spanking.
I do not enjoy abuse.

Bad, Bad Girl is a compilation of three stories about three women, who discover a different type of love. These are previously released stories which are lovely and so beautiful. It’s about the 3 women and their unique journey to finding true love and taking their first steps in a real DD relationship. Those books are: Traditional Love, Traditional Terms, and Traditional Change. These stories revolve around the theme of Domestic Discipline. Domestic Discipline is where the man in the relationship acts as the head of the household and maintains control, often dealing with conflicts through physical discipline, such as spanking. Alta Hensley's writing is beautiful, intense and has such simplicity. I have my own favorite out of the three book set. Overall, I loved the entire series but I do have my own favorite. I am sure you will too. I did wish the book didn’t wrap up so quickly and I do wish there was a follow-up so I know how the characters are doing because I would have loved Kendall’s story. Other than that, fantastic reading!!!

I am going to be honest. This book was not sexy. It was basically three stories about Domestic Discipline which I repeat is not sexy. I am going to be honest, I read stories about serial killers and men who kidnap women. I find these guys who practice Domestic Discipline to be scarier and more violent than serial and kidnappers/rapists. Basically, this book is just a thinly disguised Pro-Domestic Discipline Treatise. It's an Op-Ed piece. I read erotica to get hot and flustered. I did not get that here. Hence, the two stars.
PS: Domestic Discipline is so frigging scary. In 2017, men think it's OK to use corporal punishment on their loved ones for their own good is friggin outrageous. Don't even get me started.

This book contains three stories; Traditional Love, Traditional Terms, and Traditional Change. Three beautiful stories about three woman and their journey to finding love and taking their first steps in a DD relationship. I have read several other books by Alta Hensley and I have to say I was surprised when I read this book. Not in a bad way, but because the other books were a lot darker and more gritty. These were sweet, tender and romantic stories filled with love and some very sexy scenes. I was having a bit of a rough week and reading this book made me forget about all that and bought a smile back on my face.

The women are also strong, intelligent and independent individuals. They also all had failed relationships in their past. Throughout each story, each female lead realizes that she had in fact ruled the roost so to speak in her failed relationship and came to resent their exes because they did not feel feminine or cared for since they took on the role of head of household. When they encounter an alpha male willing to offer them an alternative way of dealing with conflicts and responsibilities in a relationship, they consent to give it a shot.
I enjoyed these stories. The characters all showed a lot of growth as they navigated their ways through their new relationships. While, there is spanking and dominant males, it is not abusive at all. Each couple’s story shows the ups and downs of their relationship including the struggle of role definition, romance, acceptance and more. I was still a mess because of the last book that I've read from this author and then I started to read this one and I'm dead. I'm overwhelmed because this Girl has a way with words.
Alta Hensley's writting is heartfelt, intense, simple and appealing. The way she writes her books can get under your skin in a sec and make you feel things and see things that we can't or won't feel. I'm serious on this when you finish this book grab a copy of Delicate Scars and see if I'm right or not and let me know.
If this isn't the best way to start a book I really don't how what is! Oh boy what a start.
Bad, Bad, Girl explores Neely, Coley and Rebecca's journey.
Neely just witnessed her hand having sex with another woman on her bed. Isn't this sick? She believed in happily ever after but how could she believe in it now after all this? The only think she was sure of was that she needed to get away. To leave that ass husband of hers and start new, go back to we hometown and start fresh.

Alta Hensley's writting is heartfelt, intense, simple and appealing. The way she writes her books can get under your skin in a sec and make you feel things and see things that we can't or won't feel. I'm serious on this when you finish this book grab a copy of Delicate Scars and see if I'm right or not and let me know.
If this isn't the best way to start a book I really don't how what is! Oh boy what a start.

Bad, Bad girl Alta Hensley a super five-star read. This is a different set up than normal as it contains three books, Traditional Love, Traditional Terms and Traditional change, they are all amazing in their own right, and all three are about different woman in each story facing their own journey. They are all beautifully written and I am sure like me you will have a favourite in the end that you cheer for more, but they each deserve their own five star rating. They deal with love, sex, romance and dominance/discipline but in a manner, that is both powerful and beautiful. It was a refreshing read, and so, so hot. Be warned you don’t want to read this book in public as you will need some alone time while reading.

A violent lifestyle I won't subscribe to.
As a man I wonder if any modern woman would subscribe to a marriage, which would give her basically no right to decide anything (being not even asked for a wedding date) and in which she had to be prepared to be spanked by her husband for basically any error.
I especially wonder if any of the female readers who gave five stars would wish to live in such a relationship.
That said: the first of the three stories was somehow interesting, but the second was rather repetitive, and I didn't read the third one.

Didn't finish
Too convenient and too out of touch with the discipline concept. The way the male protagonist was 'teaching' her about Domestic Discipline was cringe and elicited a few eye rolls. His alpha male weak and embarrassing. I had to stop reading.

I like Alta Hensleys writing style and use of words. But in this story the heroin is to naive and the hero is too cold and not likeable.
Some of the things that are done is violence and not BDSM to me.
But apart from that the stories are an enjoyable read and I look forward to read the next book from Alta Hensley.

Neely is a little nervous because she’s not sure if she can handle Caines beliefs/lifestyle of domestic discipline. When they finally hook up it was SO HOT, I want a spanking from Caine. And the ending couldn’t have been more perfect. I loved it.

Vance want’s a relationship with Coley but he want’s Caine’s permission before he pursues her. They have been flirting heavily for quite awhile. With Caine’s blessing it is game on.

At Caine’s wedding things take a turn for them. They end up having a very hot and steamy evening. Coley is a little leary about Vance’s beliefs of domestic discipline, can she accept and love him for who he is?
If you truly let him love you, you will never find a greater happiness.
Coley finds ways to push Vance’s buttons, just to test him. Vance continues to stand strong in his beliefs. I loved Vance’s parents, they added a great element to the story. And Sara makes another appearance and builds my hatred even more for her, she is an evil biatch and I loved it when Coley finally got the last word with her. Great moment. These two get a HEA, Coley is quite the feisty one and is perfect for Vance.
Traditional Change:
Rebecca is struggling with moving on from her divorce. Her heart shattered when she found out her ex was married with a baby on the way. She needed to do something to change her life.
This darkness, this funk, this pathetic life she had recently created had to come to a stop. Enough was enough.
She has decided to get a tattoo on her back. This is where she meets Sawyer, the tattoo artist.
They quickly discover that they have a friend in common, Caine and that Sawyer believes in domestic discipline 100%.
I should have known Neely would send me to a tattoo artist that spanks.
Don’t worry. As long as you stay still, I won’t spank you, he teased.
With each session Rebecca is starting to see Sawyer in a different way. There is something about him that is turning her on. Sawyer explains to Rebecca why he believes in DD and in the interim she does something that makes Sawyer want to spank her. I got a chuckle due to the underwear she had on.
After the spanking Sawyer hasn’t been able to get Rebecca out of his mind, she isn’t the normal woman he is used to. He goes to confront Rebecca and finds her in quite the predicament. I had a LOL moment. There is quite a twist towards the end that changes everything for these two.
I have to say that I truly enjoyed all of these stories and I want more from all of them. The characters were all great and I loved the connection between them. This was my first read regarding DD and I was pleasantly surprised and how much I enjoyed it. Bad, Bad girl by Alta Hensley is a 3 part book. All the stories center around domestic discipline. Ms. Hensley is always able to grab my attention, and I just DEVOUR everything I read from her!
Part one...
After Neely's marriage fails she accepts a job in her hometown, and her two best friends growing up, Coley and Caine. Caine has always taken on the role as her big brother. After being reunited, they discover that their feelings have changed, and run deeper then just friendship. Caine is totally into the Domestic Discipline of a relationship. Giving a man control over his wife, and to provide structure, and discipline when needed. The chemistry between Caine and Neely is SCORCHING HOT!!! So much passion between them. The characters are entertaining to watch unfold. Caine certainly proves he is a true romantic with a heart of gold. He shows Neely exactly what she's missing from her life. I LOVED their story!!
Part 2....
This story picks up where part one leaves off. And is the story of Coley and Vance. Coley is l Caine's younger sister, and Neely's best friend, she is also an author of erotica. She's given up on finding her happily ever after. Vance is Caine's friend and co-worker, he's had feelings for Coley for while. However do to being Caine's friend, he's respected that boundary. Vance tells Coley about his beliefs in domestic discipline. How will Coley accept the news? Is she able to submit to the lifestyle? I loved the continuation and the characters. The men are alpha, dominants, strong, stubborn, and SEXY!!!! The sex and spanking scenes continue to be SMOKING HOT!!! I LOVED falling in love with Vance and Coley!!

Another AMAZINGLY FANTABULOUS short tale in the Traditional Love series. Sawyer is a highly sought after tattoo artist, and a friend of Caine's. After Rebecca goes through her divorce she is left feeling sorry for herself. She decides she will get a tattoo on her back. And her friend, Neely recommends Sawyer. From the start they clicked, and slowly develops into more. Rebecca knows that Neely, and Coley and their partners practice Domestic Discipline. Rebecca finds it hard to understand the reasoning behind it. The more she learns about it, the more it intrigues her. Their story kept my attention. They are entertaining, and funny. I loved watching their story develop, and them finding their happily ever after.

This was a nice compilation of Domestic Discipline stories.All loosely connected with the fact that they tell of different family members and their relationships with their SO and their version of DD. This i found to be different from the author's other works, wherein the books were all soft and sweet, but the disipline and the hot scenes were still there. their interconnection to their partners wee well done as well. Loved it.

I'm going to jump right in and say that I was pleasantly shocked with this compilation. Not so much the content, well, I hadn't ever heard of Domestic Discipline relationships before this book - but, I've read a lot of books containing BDSM practices. On that note though, I need to clarify that DD and BDSM are very different lifestyles and that whilst punishment in BDSM is meant to be erotic and pleasurable - in DD punishment is for disciplining. However, it is a consensual practice. With that in mind, I actually have to admit that I really enjoyed all three stories surrounding Neely, Coley and Rebecca and their journey into the DD lifestyle.
First of all, lets establish one thing - ALL THREE women are strong, intelligent and independent. They aren't lapdogs or doormats that live for the soul purpose of serving their man. They have strong personalities that allow you as a reader to really empathise with them. I'm quite aware that many will disagree with me, however, I found all three stories to have a female empowerment undertone, even if it may not seem so at first glance. I loved that all three women knew what they wanted, what they needed and they weren't scared or embarrassed to admit it or even go for it. Secondly, the men are so so freakin SEXY. There's no doubt that Caine, Vance and Sawyer are alpha males, and although there is spanking, there is no form of abuse. These are deep and gripping stories of love, desire and surrender.
The three stories focus on three aspects; traditional love, traditional terms, traditional change. I found all three scorching hot and incredibly arousing. I found that the writing was on point and both character and plot development were verging on flawless. I can't believe how much I loved the Bad, Bad Girl compilation. I could re-read it again right now!

A word of warning…if you are not a fan of spanking romance or Domestic Discipline romance, this book is probably not for you. That being said, my tastes run a very fine line. While I love BDSM romance, I’m not a huge fan of spanking or DD UNLESS it’s very well written, it has some great D/s sex involved, and the heroine is not getting spanked every other second for some other perceived wrongdoing.
That’s this book. Alta does a great job with the three stories inside Bad, Bad, Girl. While they are all standalone, they do all tie in to each other and feature the same circle of friends and family.

This is a trilogy containing stories on Domestic Discipline. Each story is tastefully written and contains a strong alpha male and a strong independent woman.
The first story is about Caine and Neely. Neely finds her husband in bed with another woman. She decides to move back to her hometown. She’s staying with her best friend’s brother Caine. Sara, Caine’s current girlfriend is not happy with this situation at all. She tries to make Neely’s life difficult but to her surprise, Caine kicks her out. That Leaves Neely and Caine to explore their feelings for each other. Out of the three stories, this was my favorite.

Sara, Caine’s current girlfriend is not happy with this situation at all. She tries to make Neely’s life difficult but to her surprise, Caine kicks her out. That Leaves Neely and Caine to explore their feelings for each other. Out of the three stories, this was my favorite.

I highly enjoyed the 3 stories (Traditional Love, Traditional Terms and Traditional Change) in one book. Prepared for lots and lots of spankings. The topic of Domestic Discipline is new to me and enjoyed reading about. Holy Alpha males. I loved each of the guys Caine, Vance and Sawyer. Each guy had a slightly different style to their Domestic Discipline lifestyle they made it sexy as hell. You felt how much they cherished Neely, Coley and Rebecca. Out of all the ladies I understood Rebecca's questioning why all her 3 of her friends in turn fell in love with their man and the lifestyle. It wasn't until the final story that you finally see her blossom. Though I wished there was a fourth book for Kendall and Matt. You meet them mostly in the first book and a little in the second. They pretty much disappeared all together by the 3rd book with a brief mention. I would have loved to see that relationship take shape. Overall I would defiantly recommend this one to anyone who is looking for an idea of a new lifestyle and enjoys the topic of spankings and hot sex. Another job well done Alta.

I received a copy of Bad, Bad Girl by Alta Hensley via the PR company in exchange for an unbiased and honest review.
I am ashamed to admit that I have never read ANY of Alta's books before reading this series but that’s about to change as I have one clicked lots now. I also have to say this as one of the hottest series’ I have ever read. God this book had me squirming and I’ll even admit I had some twinges. The men in this series are pure alpha male I mean full protectiveness, full on Instagram love and overbearingness which I absolutely love to read about. I loved how at first the women would try and fight it and I loved the punishments these men came up with talk about HOT AS SIN.
I read book in a day as I simply couldn’t out it down and it owned me for that day. Honestly if you love a hot, kinky read and love pure alpha males then this book is for you.

Okay loves. My review for Bad, Bad, Girl will probably be pretty short. Bad, Bad Girl is a book made up of 3 different stories that fall in the same series. Not going to lie I didn’t really love this book. Not that it was a bad book by any means…because it wasn’t. It just wasn’t my cup of tea. I was warned going into this one that it would be dirty and would push my limits…which I mean really do I have any left at this point? But I didn’t really feel like that was true. Yes, it did broach a subject different from any other book I have read, Domestic Discipline. I think that the idea was great. Where this one fell short for me was that I didn’t really feel connected to the characters in any of the stories. No I didn’t think it was written badly or was a bad book, it may have been a little fasted paced for my liking at some points…but still it wasn’t horrible. I just feel like it wasn’t what I was expecting going in. That being said I definitely think that this book has an audience, and that for that audience this book was great and will be a hit. I just don’t think I am part of that audience unfortunately. This is a case of unmatched expectations.

Another well written book form this amazing author.
Couple of things, this book may not be for all so heed the warning from the author and other readers, Secondly this book contains all 3 books Traditional Love, Traditional Terms and Traditional Change and all 3 books are about 3 different women and their journey into the DD lifestyle with their men, but all 3 stories have characters that interact among all 3 stories.
I loved each of the characters and each of the story while similar but still very different. I was introduced into the DD lifestyle under the guidance of this great author who told these stories with so much grace and love. There was so much emotion in each of these stories along with hot steamy scenes that this book and it's characters are swoon worthy. I felt the emotion thru and thru and could not put it down even when there was tears in my eyes.
If you are looking for some sweet romance, with a HUGE side of TABOO and have an open mind or want to know about the Domestic Discipline lifestyle then I highly recommend this book.

This was a compilation of three books in one. And what a concept in these stories women who meet and fall in love with men that all share the same feelings on how a relationship should be managed. All three stories follow a group of men who share old traditional views on how to handle their women. When all else fails, spank them and get things straightened out! Spankings can be for punishment or for play actually. But these three women all need guidance that these men personally take in hand and set them on a path to good behavior. A lot of this was actually pretty hot. The only thing I thought needed work is that a H/h's feelings could go from one extreme to the other within a paragraph. He's angry in one sentence and a few sentences later, he's teasing her. Emotions don't quite go back and forth that quickly in any given interaction. A little less ! as well. Overall, I liked these stories and think they were pretty hot, even if my man better not come anywhere near me for a spanking punishment!

After finishing this series, I can't help but have mixed feelings about it.
I enjoyed the hot scenes a lot, and some of the interactions between the characters made me laugh out loud and even get tear-eyed,which is always a plus. Yet the topic of DD has me confused.
I could not grasp the whole concept, and even found it a little bit unjust towards the female characters. I mean I understand the concept well enough from the point of view of parents and children... To a certain extent, of course. But I don't really see the point or appeal of the life style. Not to mention that it made me feel like women are the ones who need to change fundamentally just to be with a guy.
I am one to believe that changes have to made by both women and men in a relationship, but that doesn't mean that the stories in this series are not worth of reading. Because nothing is further from the truth. There are very good stories in this series that, although controversial, leave you thinking and rethinking everything you ever thought you knew about relationships.
