Clearly an invaluable resource, it's the definitive work on aerodynamics. Written by an engineer with precisely no idea how to entertain (or at least not any idea on how to attractively describe things for the lay person), it's also insufferably boring. It took me months to get through the dense writing! My advice--seek ye other sources for a handle on aerodynamics!

The quintessential reference for mathematically inclined pilots. I primarily used this book to study for an airline interview and did, "very well" on the knowledge portion of the test according to the interviewer.

Anyone that wants a good deep understanding of aerodynamic principles this is a great book.
I've read it twice.
