However, when Allie’s boyfriend reveals that a popular book published by his company is about to be made quite famous, Allie’s life is turned, once again, upside down.

Along with her best friend Phil, now in a lively relationship with a younger man (often accidentally hurting himself while on their athletic dates) Allie must navigate the unfamiliar waters of the presence of her boyfriend’s sexy ex, Hollywood craziness, and of course, more of her mother Betty’s wild dating life and unhinged antics.

I loved the first book, Falling Down Girl, and knew I had to read Falling Down Girlfriend too. The characters are quirky and lovable. Honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite. This book had me laughing all the way through and wondering what Allie would get herself into next. If you are looking for a fun mood lifter I highly recommend Falling Down Girlfriend (and Falling Down Girl if you haven't read it).
