Malcolm has been lusting after his employee Kate but he has certain needs and doesn't believe Kate could handle it. When Malcolm unknowingly reveals his secret to Kate he decides to act on it but what will Kate be a willing participant?
This was really fun. I was curious to see what Malcolm's secret was and it was good. I liked this couple together even though it took awhile for their feelings to grow. Entertaining.

Awesome three stories
Book One...Rough Ride, was my favorite story. Older man, younger woman. Malcolm and Kate both had something to learn from each other. Malcolm has secrets that Kate finds out about quite by accident. Once the lid gets blown off Malcolm's private life, the story gets fiery and wicked. You'll love it.
Book Two...Flesh and Blood, was very scary to me. Imagine you are taken to a mob boss and he tells you you are going to become his mistress! You have been blocked from getting every job you've tried by this mob boss and he is holding something over your head. You are out of money and options. This is a good edge of your seat read.
Book Three...Sweet Perdition is a typical good girl, bad boy biker. I loved how Ryker and Elizabeth met at his biker bar with her in a pink, pouffe bridesmaid dress. I loved her smart mouth and Ryker's confidence. It was a sweet, wild ride.

Nothing to really wow a person but good enough read. There was a easy flow to the author's writing, making for a fast read. Written from a dual pov and can be read as a standalone.
Malcolm has always felt something for Kate since she started working for him. But he didn't act on it for 3 reasons, 1. She is much younger than him 2. She works for him and 3. He is into BDSM and doubts she is too.
Kate has just turned 21 and as her "last gasp" before stepping into adulthood, she decides to do something crazy. She stumbles upon and applies for a job at a BDSM club. After her first scene, both Kate and Malcolm are shocked at the discovery that her first 'client' is none other than her boss.
Malcolm sees this as a sign and thus starts their erotic romance.

It was entertaining enough that I wanted to keep reading but, honestly, I was ready to DNF it several times.
I didn't feel the connection between the MC's so it all seemed forced to me, probably due to the pace of the story as well (since it's a short story it is pretty fast-paced). There were also some minor spelling mistakes but nothing that I couldn't overlook.
On the positive side though, the age difference was handled well so it didn't bother me all that much and I think the sex scenes were beautifully portrayed.

I liked it, however there was some things that prevents me from giving it a higher rating. The ending was way too rushed. I think the main issue was that it was too short if the author had more pages to work with than maybe the chemistry between the main characters would have been a lot better and the ending would not have been too rushed.

The BDSM in this was good. There was a great rigging scene and good descriptions of Shibari but the story itself was kind of blah.

Great quick read
Kate is young and finishing college, unsure of where to go from there. While she has always had more than she needs, her single father has never been more than a financial provider in her life and she definitely has some daddy issues.
In comes her boss, who is more than interested in taking on the much younger girl as his submissive and showing her what it means to be really cared for.
I'm not normally a fan of the "older man" trope but Cynthia Rayne did a great job in this quick dirty coming of age romance.
I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Kate is lucky to be offered an internship with Ad exec Malcolm but she thinks he´s asshole cause of the way he treats her. Kate is curious and gets in trouble some times through it but when she finds Malcolm in a BDSM club she agrees to be his submissive, what either of them expected was how important to each other they would be. Malcolm new he was much older than Kate but couldn´t stop the feelings he was having for her, when she becomes his submissive he wants it all with her. Will Kate be able to get over her fears of not being loved, will Malcolm be the man to show Kate he really is in this for ever. Amazing this is the first book in this new series I´ve read and it didn´t dissappoint would highly recommened this book.

Rough ride is a little different to the other books by this author, but an enjoyable read. This is the story of Kate and Malcolm and is the first in a new series. Will look forward to the next book!

Rough Ride
I gotta say this was a really good book, I've haven't read a book straight though in a long time, Malcolm is one sexy kinky older man who got his life together, Kate is just turned 21 and is starting out but these two just fit together. Its like they were designed for one another, they are both very strong willed but get behind close doors and BAM its hot as hell. Absolutely loved this book it was well written with a fantastic story line. Cannot wait for Poppy's story!!!! Cynthia Ryane is one of the best story tellers I know. Freaking loved it!!!
