Read. Marty and Chris become friends in college, and this is the story of their friendship through the ensuing thirty (?) years. Marty is a mesmerizing woman, with many sexcapades in her life. Chris basically follows the Scheme of Things, with periodic erotic interludes with Marty even ‘tho they are both married. This is certainly the most sexually explicit of Savage’s novels. Marty goes through trsansformations and eventually is little more than an alcoholic.

This book was interesting and kind of sad. I wasn't expecting it to be about cancer and etc. It was a nice and sweet book too though also. I enjoyed this book.
