I selected this book to learn about Nee's life. The book tells his story well - but there is more! The books sets Nee's story against the tumultuous events of China from 1900 to the early 1970s. I recommend this book for the inspiration story of a man who finished well, but also for people interested in history and geography.

Had to do a project on Watchman Nee for class and decided to read this book out of intrigue for his story. This book is so interesting I highly recommend it. It was great getting a deeper dive into Nee’s childhood.
